alright, well for christmas i've been thinking about what i want and what i want is some newer, better makeup.
i like playing around with colors that are kinda of bright and out there and'll catch attention. and i like to blend them with my outfits so they look really neat. like i like doing my makeup like this: ( a girl i found off of myspace, not me ) [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
but see how like, boldish and what a pretty color that makeup looks like?
does anyone know where to purchase makeup colored like this, that won't be running all over my face, for a cheap price?
even if you don't know where to tell me to get brightish, bold makeup like that, can anyone just tell me where to get good-looking makeup that doesn't run all over my face and stays on for good amount of time?
thanks.
sorry if i sounded confusing, i kinda ramble, haha.
funnyduck236 answered Monday December 4 2006, 8:37 pm: mac cosmetics is great for bold looks. although their makeup can be expensive. you could ask someone for a gift card to there and if you get on for 40$ they will do your makeup for you so you can ask them what colors you should use. you also get reimbursed in products. so this means you get your make up done and 40$ worth of make up. NoLies_JustLove answered Monday December 4 2006, 6:17 pm: Yeah I love wearing bright makeup too and people always ask me where I get mine haha. I find really good, bright colors from Hottopic( it's really cheap, too; you can buy an eyeliner pencil there for $1.) Also try Sephora, M.A.C, Lancome, and Kohls(they have a really good line of bright colored makeup called Flirt.) You could also try a drugstore like C.V.S or Walgreen's, but I think you'd have better results with the other stores. Hope I helped! =) [ NoLies_JustLove's advice column | Ask NoLies_JustLove A Question ]

abercrombie.LvR answered Monday December 4 2006, 7:16 am: You can buy any good type of makeup. Target has good, and cheap makeup. IF you want pretty nice stuff try macy's, jcpenny, or kaufman's. (Department stores). If you want to have really nice stuff try sephora- there is on in nyc. And city's around the world (paris).. and the one in paris is huge. But in nyc there are tons, order on line. I have Bobbi Brown compact, those are really nice. Go to there website.
Imperialistic answered Monday December 4 2006, 4:20 am: I totally understand where you're coming from.
I LOVE bold colours and I can't find a good, reasonably-priced brand to save my life. Even colours that look amazingly bright end up looking bland. I have about two boxes filled with makeup that I thought was going to look great but I had to keep layering the powder on for it to look darker. It didn't come close to the promised colour and fell apart in an hour.
But honestly, it's worth your time to take a look at Urban Decay and MAC. They're a little pricey but the colours are so worth it and if you get MAC pigment, you can mix your own colours.
If you really can't afford it, you may want to look at cream colours. They aren't as nice and are made for one-colour solid application but they stick. [ Imperialistic's advice column | Ask Imperialistic A Question ]
