Q: I have a fairly old TV that I would like to hook my laptop up to. It's not ancient, but it's not from the flat-screen era.

My usual way is with a VGA cable, but this TV doesn't even have that. What's the next best (and cheapest!) way?

If someone could provide me with instructions / links to the products I'd need to buy, that'd be great!

VGA is the best way, i mean the other way, is just watching whatever you want from the computer on the computer, @ letmewatchthis.ch

find foundation that has yellow undertone or a shade lighter or use a foundation and use bronzer on your cheek bones.

Q: I haven't had my period in 2-3 months now. I would've taken a pregnancy test sooner, but I've never even had sex. In fact, the closest I've come to having sex is my boyfriend cumming on my ass in the shower. So there's really no way I should be pregnant.

I'm on Loestrin24Fe; it's NOT the pill that only gives you a period 4x a year. I've been on it since last June. For the first six months, my period slowly did become lighter and shorter, but it plateaued at about 2 days long. Now a couple months back, I got a *little* bit of spotting for a day, and ever since then, I have not had my period. Is this normal or should I see a doctor?

I have a very regular period routine. its so weird because a lot of my friends complain about how theirs are so irregular but mine are so regular. i can predict which day they come and how long they will last and it will actually happen.

my question is.. i just got birth control pills for the first time. i haven't taken the first pill yet. i heard that birth control pills can make your period irregular. my question is, do you think taking birth control pills is a good idea for me? i'm scared it will mess up my cycle and make it irregular. do you think i should not take the pill because my system is regular? or should i still take them? help!

pills regulate your periods, who ever told you different is wrong.

do some research before taking them and see the gyno because they will tell you everything you need to know!

if you are young, talk to your parents about it.

Q: So I'm almost done with my first year of college and I'm transferring for my sophomore year. I found this amazing college down south that has my major and pretty much everything i want, it sounds perfect. I'm just scared that I'll be alone. That's my biggest fear. but here look at this way.

MOST of the people going to the four year college are new and left their friends for college, but its the best experience out there to grow to a new group of people and you'll have a roommate! its perfect.

It does sounds scary but there will be so many people coming to the college like you feeling the same way.

if you are a social and nice person you should have no problem!

Q: HELP!My 16 yo son had 4 boys MUCH LARGER than him come to my house to beat him up. Luckily he wasn't home. They told him on the bus that's why they showed up. Now he won't ride the bus, doesn't want me to confront them or the parents. He said their finally leaving him alone (I don't know if he's telling me everything), and if I do it will get much worse. One boy who was a friend did this already and fought with him. It was put on the internet and he was mocked at school. I found this all out much after the fact. Now these boys want to fight him because my son called one of them fat playing online a wargame talking smack to eachother. These friends came over and I told me to have my son call him like they wanted to hang out. I am outraged and need to know if this has happened to anyone outthere and what action is the best. Leave it alone because it's dying down? Go meet them and let them know it's not tolerated and have things get worse? Call the cops and have things get worse? HELP!!!!!! My son is very thin and these boys are huge compared to him. What do I do?

School in general was HELL for me.
people used to pick on me alllll the time!
for DUMB little things, or the way i looked at the time.
it is very hard, and it is hard to talk about.
and sometimes you just have to let it die down and the bullies might move on.

This is a very difficult situation, and remind your son that KARMA is a B*tch... this is really true too, because people that bullied me are much worse off now, or had the acne problems that i had, or other MUCH worse problems.

Q: There is this guy that I see around and whenever I see him he always staring at me. When I catch him he looks away very fast but if he thinks I'm not looking he will stare longer. There have been some instance where we have made eye contact for a long period of time. He doesn't say much to just small talk. I am a female, and i always think that making the first move is always the best because most men are worse then girls are and are just so nervous.
I am guessing this is in school.
My suggestion is if he seems really shy he might not really respond much in person if you confront him.

Q: I worked for a dollar store for about a year up until last August. I had put in my two weeks notice before I started school, but when I only had about 3 shifts left I was hit with some person issues that were really upsetting and I didn't think I'd be worth having at work in that condition. I called my boss and told her I couldn't come in for my last shifts.

I feel bad about this and I'm on a kick about apologizing for my wrongs, so I was wondering what the best medium for apology would be in this situation. I would feel pretty weird/nervous about apologizing in person since it's been so long. I wouldn't mind phoning and talking to her, or I already have a letter written up.

What do you think is most appropriate/best?

to be honest the best thing to do is to tell the person how you really feel and what you are thinking.

I would recommend sending the letter but in an email so you know that the person gets it.

make it very sincere and show REALLY how you feel.

this is very mature of you, and i commend that.

I've been with my boyfriend for almost 5 years and we never really got dressed up and he now is starting to dress cute bc hes going out with his friends more and he wants me to go along. Okay so if you go into there even ask a person that works there for what they think what would look best on you, and still be a bit dressy or whatever style you're looking for.

If you are not a BIG fan of dressing too girly girly, here are a few things i do to dress things up and im not too girly, except im a make up addict LOL.

I use black leggings to focus on my curves and you can put that together with any shirt that comes to mid butt ish LOL.

a simple black v neck shirt can be paired with....
1) a necklace and stud earrings with hair down, and some cute flats.
2)orrr.... hair up with medium or big hoop earrings and no necklace
BOTH WITH SKINNY JEANS

oh, and make up dresses up everything too.

and i am the same height as you can even adding heels to a pair of skinny jeans dresses up a WHOLE outfit sweetheart :]

you need to put as much distance as you can between you as possible. I have been in this situation, and its just not good. You know the answer to your own questions sweetie, you know what's best for you, you just have to be willing to do it for yourself. He doesn't treat you the way you should be treated and he is acting the way he is and has, so you should stop talking to him in general. You are honestly not losing anything in the long run. And your ex best friend isn't important let her do her...because karma is a B*TCH and obviously she is your EX best friend, just as he is your EX boyfriend. BOTH in the PAST so leave em that way. thats the best you can do.

You should definitely tell the girl... in a polite and genuine way, as nice as u can. Tell her the way that you would like to be told in this position, which might be a bit difficult. I truly believe you NEED to tell her, and even show her proof. I dont think that you should do it over the computer or texting or over the phone because telling her face to face will make her see that you are serious and you could even show her the proof. He sounds like a pig and believe me you're not messing up the relationship he did that enough! If she does not believe you then thats her problem because you did what you needed to you, its her choice if she wants to not believe you.

I have been in a situation kinda like this but a bit worse.

I slept with this dude who told me that he had broken up with his girlfriend and i believed it!

I wanted him alot and he was so so so sweet to me. Well turns out after i slept with him, i found out that they were still dating, and i felt horrible! I told her, because well i dont keep secrets like that and especially when its a horrible issue like that and i would wanna know too! Well, I told her and she didnt believe me! They were dating for a year or so and they continued to date a year or more after this happened. After I told the girl what happened, I talked to one of her close friends and she told me that she has been told by a few girls that he has cheated on her, but she thought all were lying. Even her 'friend' told her that he fingered her! I know, and she still didnt believe her.

What is important here is that you can do all that you can do, and that by telling her what is happening.

It is on her what she believes.
