I got my period for the first time back in November.
(i'm 14/f, by the way, 15 in a little over 4 weeks) Anyways, my mom doesn't know yet. I don't know how to tell her, because i'm too embarrassed! She said she's thinking about taking me to the doctor if i don't get it (or tell her about it) soon.

Um well the first thing you might want to try is to confront the person about it (in a nice way). If it still doesn't stop, ignore her and she'll go away.

this isn't textbook abuse but, my guy friend always has to make it known
that i am stupid, ugly or w/e. he makes it his priority to smack me in the
head you know that "V-8" thing in front of ppl. like he's trying to break
me. I know this isn't that "oooo he likes you" cause he does it to every
girl that he's friends with, except one. sometimes all i wanna do is cry
becuase some of his comments are so rude and mean. i am so sick of it. i
wanna leave and not be friends with him but my bff girl is like "your just
being stupid he isn't that bad" ofcourse shes the one that isn't verbally

Talk to him about it. He might've thought he was just joking around with you but let him know that youu don't like it and wish he would stop.

so, like, probably about a month ago i started cutting myself. now, i can't stop. it has turned into an addiction. i can't hide it anymore, i wera like tons of hair things on my wrist, but it still doesn't fully cover all of the cuts and if one accidentley moves, people are like omg what is that?! and i always tell them i axcidentley burnt myself. and i have been going to the doctor ALOT lately because i'm really sick and they don't no what is wrong with me and so they always check my body and stuff, and i have been getting I.V.'s and stuff and the nurse just pulls up my sleeve and see's it and looks at me then just acts like she didn't see it because she no's. so, i have been trying to stop, i really have, but it is so hard because i like to do it so much. it's not like im really doing anything bad to me, they are harmless little cuts that barley bleed, so what i really want is to no how to hide them! anyone who can help will be well appreciated! thanks. That's horrible! You shouldn't be cutting yourself! It may seem like it doesn't really hurt you, but in the long-run it REALLY does! You need to stop this now!

I'm a 15/female and I'm wondering what in the world I should give my boyfriend for Valentines. We've been going out since Dec. 24 (aww, how cute. :D) Now that we've got that taken care of, lets move on. Lol. Anyways, and it's my first Valentines day to actually have a special someone.
- He doesn't like chocolate, so there goes that.
I really don't know, I thought about making him a homemade card, writing a whole bunch of sweet stuff in there and whatnot. Do you think that a guy would actually like that?

There's this guy at my school, he's an 8th grader and im a 7th grader. I really like him, and im 99% sure he likes me back. Wait till Valentine's Day and if he doesn't ask you out, try to get to know him a little better. If he does, just follow your heart. So what if his dad is the gym teacher? That shouldn't matter if you want to have a relationship with someone. If he tries to interfere, get the boy you like to talk to him.

I recently started working in a nursing home as a recreation aide. we do activities with the residents, etc. the staff was asked to think of ideas for activities the residents can do before dinner in the big dining room. it wil be a bunch of them. they said to keep it somewhat simple as in not a lot of setting up etc. someone suggested giving the residents jokes to read off. interaction in the activities is a plus. any ideas? i want to impress the boss lol (link)

Well my grandmother used to work at a nursing home and I visited there once. They made beaded necklaces/bracelets to help with their arthritis. I thought that was a really good idea. They enjoyed it alot. Another suggestion would be to put a piano and get someone to play it. I did that for them once and they loved it. They also loved it when children came in. Good luck!

Well there's this skin disease called exzema that I have that makes your skin itch. It's not a big deal or anything (no need to see a doctor). Just go to the drug store and ask for some cream or something that can stop the itch.

ok i am super bz with my design job (its my first job) and between school and work i barely have time for anything but the gym and getting together with coworkers to finish up some extra work like snapping pics for the company and what have you .... most of the ppl i work with are either women, gay, or wayyyyyyyy old (40s???) I NEED TO FIND A BOYFRIEND! i knw this sound desperate... but i am just so lonely and i really want someone in my life....... where do i find him?!?! i tried chatting and stuff but its just not my thing... it feels a little weired so i'd rather meet the guy....... i feel so self conscious about my body like it is the reason no one hardly ever approaches me... ever........ urghhh

Alright it sounds like your in a tough situation. First of all, do you really think you have time for a relationship with everything else going on (school and work)? Maybe people at your school know you are doing both and think you don't want a relationship right now cause your so busy. But if you really think you can pull it off, i suggest joining a small study group at your school. You might find a cool guy that you like spending time with.

Talk to him and tell him that yall have kinda grown apart and you want yall to be close friends. If you like the friendship don't try to get back together with him no matter how jealous you are. Your just going to have to get used to him having a girlfriend. It might be hard but it's worth it if you get a good friend out of it.

Okay, so me and my boyfriend are going out for 7 months it will be our 8 month anniversary on February 27th. He is absolutely amazing and i am really in love with him. He literally is like the perfect boyfriend. but for a little while we had a period where we would like get "testy" with each other over everything, even jokes. but now we are okay is that normal in a long relationship like this?

I know you don't want to date an unnattractive person, no matter how much you like them. But, maybe you should take a stand and ask him out and take a shot with him. If anyone makes fun of you, just tell them that you like him and don't care that he's not hott. It doesn't matter what other people think. As long as your happy.

My boyfriend and i decided to break up while he figures some things out. For the time being we are going to be friends. He told me that he Loves me. Then he said that he might get back together and we might not, he's not sure. So I am giving him time, but one day he will be negative about us, and the next he will be positive about us. Well I had this same problem with my girlfriend. She did the same thing to me. It really sucked. But I did the same thing to her a couple of months earlier. And I did it because I was really confused about my feelings and I think he is too. If he still likes you, or loves you, he'll come back to you.

Well I read an article that said that the best relationship starts out with a really good friendship and I think that could be right. One reason is that you have to be able to talk to your boyfriend/girfriend comfortably without it being weird. So I think you should tell him how you feel about him and if he doesn't feel the same way about you, just continue to be friends with him.

Well, I used to have the same problem. But I realized why waste my time being jealous when I could be having alot of fun with these people!? So just try to stop thinking about it and just have a good time. If they do leave you out though, talk to them about it. They'll stop if they are your true friends.

ok I know i've promised my bf that id never breack up with him, but i need to know, IS he boyfriend material? It sounds like your boyfriend doesn't appreciate and respect you very much. I just got out of a relationship that went on for a year and fell in love. But i think that love went away over a couple of months and we just wanted to hang onto it cause we kept telling ourselves that we couldn't just give up after all this time. So, my advice is to, if he keeps on acting like this, to break it off. It sounds like it's time.

Alright well guys always like candy and chocolate and stuff like that. Also, when you kiss him on this special day, don't make it an everyday regular kiss. Make it special. Put your feelings into it. Show how much you like him. Show him how much he means to you.

Well, you said you don't really pay attention in class. Teachers can always tell when your not paying attention. I sometimes have trouble with paying attention to, but you really have to try hard to do it or your going to fail. That's the reality of it. So, just try your hardest to pay attention and you'll probably get results.
