I'm 19 years old, female... and out of a job right now. I don't have a car or my license yet, so it's really hard for me to get around unless a friend's around... I plan to go for mine soon but while I'm waiting to do so, and waiting to hear from other jobs, I'd just like to say I'm going COMPLETELY INSANE being stuck in the house.
It's not even just going out with friends that I need to do... I feel I need to do something productive before I go even more insane. lol
So any ideas of what I can do that can be more productive? I've read, written, tried to research things that interest me, taken walks, everything. Any ideas that aren't so mundane?

Have you tried babysitting? Excerise is great for the body and not just walks. Think about the kind of job you want go online and learn every thing you can about it that way when it's time for your interview you will be able to give them the reason why it should be you and not some one else.

If/when your ex breaks up with her current boyfriend the best thing you could do is take it slow. Hang out be friends for a little while and don't let yourself become the rebound. Take time to get to know each other again. Talk about why you broke up in the first place and try to figure out how this time will or won't be different. Jumping into it because you've already dated is a bad reason and if you really love each other give it time to grow some more. Don't let her rush you into this because she needs time to get over whatever went wrong with the last relationship.

Okay, me & my crush Kyle are good friends but recently I learned he's a player like 22nd I think he said to me "I 'like' alot of girls here." we were at are groups normal bowling day. After he said that he completely ignored me. Something else he said was "Guys think girls are cute when they mess-up, exspealiy when they like the guy." Uhg... He's a shy, player though... Usually players look at girls as conquest. The more they score the better they feel about themselves. It's a game to them get as many as they can. Some like a challenge some like it to be kinda easy. However too easey isn't usually preferd. The also like to have girls fight over them and sometimes egg it on a little. So if he knows you like him that could explain why he is treating you like he is. I would say don't waste your time on him and I do know that it is easer said than done. Try not to yourself think that he would be different with you. That he'll forget those other girls if he would just give you a chance. Find something else to think about when you start thinking about him. Girlfriends that will help you not to think about him are your strongest deffence. If possible find a girl or two that do not like him in that way.

I think that you are very talented and that your poem flows very well. It's a little depressing but inspite of this or because of it I find that I relly like it. The only thing I could see that you could do different(not saying that it is necessary,) is the last line in the 4th paragraph where you say "Let me handle it on my own." Maybe you could change it to something like Let me be all my own. The only reason I suggest this is because you have a line in the 2nd paragraph that is almost identical. Just my personal oppinion. Hope you aren't offended.

Okay i am thirteen and i don't know if i am eating enough calories. I an 5'0 and 123 pounds. They say if you do not eat enough calories you can gain weight but i eat like that any time i attempt to lose weight. thet day i also exercised for 30 minutes. a quarter of grains, a quater of protein and half of
Breakfast : 2 pieces of whole wheat bread, slice of a cantalope, half a pear, 1 cup of milk
snack: dannon light and fit yogurt blueberry
30 min of excersise
...Milk
Lunch: quarter plate of rice,quarter of salmon,1/2 a cup of spinach and 1/2 a cup of onions
snack: pear
Dinner: 1/2 a plate of black peas with no skin or shell, 1/4 plate of rice, 1/4 plate of brocoli carrots and cauliflour
that is what i ate that day, i added it and it ended up to be not much over 1000 calories. I do not know how to eat not large portions, but eat the amount of calories i need to lose weight. HELP!!!
Also the plates are 9 inches long.

Ok that is deffenatly not enough calories. Even adults shouldn't dip below 1,200. Teen as they are still growing and devloping their muscles and tissue and all that good stuff need more calories than adults do. Ages 9 - 13 need 1,600 for non activity 1,600-2,000 for moderate and 1,800-2,200 for very avtive. To lose weight cut 500 calories daily but make sure that you don't go below 1,200 since it is hard for your body to get everything it will need with less than 1,200.

I am sorry that I haven't been online reciently to answer you. First I hope that you haven't harmed yourself suicide is not the answer. Please don't give up hope yet. I could say that I understand what you are going through but that would not be totaly true every situation like this is different. Have you tried going to the athorities? That is the best advice that any one can give you. I know how frightining that can be but it is the only way that you will be able to stop what is going on. Do you have any other relitives that would be willing to listen and believe you? If you do talk to them and they could help you bring the matter to the police. Also I would suggest that you call the teen life line for support. Their # is 1-877 youthline or 1-800suicide. I want to paint a design on an canvas bag.
But I'm not sure what to get.
I read that to make it machine washable, I'd need to pre treat the fabric to some solution. Do I really to and where could I get it?
Will it prevent cracking? or do I put something else over paint when it's done?
Also, I really would prefer to use acrylic paint.
I've tried fabric paint for some other things and it was hard to use.
I also read on a forum that I'd need "fabric medium", what is it exactly?
And.. what can I do to get off unwanted paint if I happen to make a mistake or so? (link)

Most if not all of your questions can be answered at your local arts and craft store. Fabric Medium reducies the stiffnes that you get when you use acrylic paint straight from the jar. It also makes it so you don't have to scrub the fabric to make the pain adhere or "stick" to the fabric. I havve been able to remove acrylic paint from my canvis' by rubbing it with rubbing alcohol. As for the solution I am not sure what it is but you can probably find it at your arts and craft store or online.

This is what I am working on right now. What I have learned is that when I work my ab muscles they build and tend to push out my belly fat making me look fatter. Cardio excercise, such as arobics, may help you to lose your belly but you have to remember that the belly is the hardest place to lose fat. You could try crunches as some people think they work. You could also try playing tennis. Okay, right about now,my life isn't so great. I don't have any close friends, absolutly hate the close minded town i live in, and can't stand my family! I want to get away from it all,and the only way I can do this is by moving in with my dad who lives in another state. See,theres some problems with this though. My brother (who i hate, no,not the kind of hate thats like "he's still your brother"-he's deffinatly no brother to me.) moved with my dad about 3 years ago. He hated it there and fought with my dad all the time so he moved back here. Now,my brothers a very controlling person and always believes he's right(he also breaks everything.) But its so much more as well. Thats how my dad used to be,but he changed. I honestly believe my dad's a much better person now-he's just much more happier. We're also interesting in the same things;music,acting. Anyways, i told my mom i was depressed here and wanted to move away with my dad and she completely flipped out. My moms very mean,not caring.She doesn't care about my feelings what so ever. She thinks my dad's giving me ideas to live with him. I really want to move in with my dad,but she refuses. It's really bad though,because my dad made a credit card under my mom's name and she might have to pay 800 dollers. I'm mad at him for that, but i'd rather be with him than live with my brother and mom for another day.I just want to move so bad, but i feel like theres so many things on both sides telling me to go and not to go. I'm 16,so i have a choice,right? The only friend i told about this didn't understand, so this is really the only place i can go to. Sometimes people will act a certain way when their living situation is not healthy. This could be the reason for your dads past actions. Just because your brother didn't like it with your dad dosen't mean you won't. I don't know how your mom took to your brother going to live with him but she did let him come back. So if you do decied to go try to explain to your mom that you feel like this is something you have to do. If she flips out try not to get into an argument with her because that will make it worse. If it would help try to get your dad involved. He could help in trying to sway your mom. Don't just leave without saying anthing you want to keep the camunication open incase you ever have to go back there. The better you handle this the better the return will be. Hopefully if you do leave then everything will go well for you.

So I've known my friend Chris for almost 5 years now and we've become pretty much best friends. But I've been in love with him since I met him.. And I know he feels the same, but he won't do anything about it. Like we'll be driving in his car to get our friends, and he'll just reach over and grab my hand like it's no big deal but as soon as our friends get in the car, he lets go. Do you think he could be embarrassed of me or something? Because when we're alone, he's lovey dovey and huggy and acts like he wants to be with me but then around friends and at school most of the time he's totally different. Ask him what his deal is. What does he want from you freinds or relationship? Tell him he is sending you mixed signals and you aren't sure what it is he wants. If you aren't comfortable bringing it up maybe you shouldn't worry about it so much. You can spend your time stressing over what he is thinking or you can not worry about it and maybe a different guy will come along who isn't so confusing. I'm not saying that it won't happen but what if it dosen't and you feel like you've wasted you time waiting for him?

The longer you shave the tougher your skin will get and the less bumps you will have. Hair removal creams are not usually recomended for that area. I have found that those creams usually burn even the sensitive ones for the lip and bakini area. There are some products that you can find like in Wal Mart that sooth and remove the bumps. One was called Liqued Bump Stopper. They also had shaving cream.

i want to loose a few pounds in order to get a little more into shape and to look better in my dress for prom coming up in a month or so. i'm currently starting training for soccer but need to cross train in order to get the desired effect. will drinking lots of water help 'cleanse my body' and drop a few pounds? or is that just a myth? if so, does anybody have any suggestions for dieting to loose just a few pounds? i'm going to cut back on sweets and start eating healthier as much as possible. any other tricks to help drop weight faster? thanks so much! Drinking lots of water does cleanse your liver of all the toxins. You should be drinking 6 to 8 glasses a day. Actually more for you since you are training for soccer. It keeps your body hydrated and you will feel less hungry. Try to keep you calorie intake at a helthy level. You don't want to eat too few but you also don't want to eat too many. Try to eat more veggies and fruit and less red meat. After a hard workout you should eat protean within a half an hour.

I'm 16/f and I want to lose 20lbs but I have no self-control/motivation/support.
I'm a vegetarian and I usually eat pretty well: I only occasionally slip for fried/oily/junk foods less than once a month. However, my problem is refraining from eating too much too frequently as well as trying to exercise when I have time.
I've told my mom many times to shrink my meal portions, but she always slacks after a week and then expects me to eat everything she gives me. I have a busy school life (no joke) so that I rarely get a chance to have a life. Then there's the problem with me ALWAYS being hungry!
Can anyone help me find a way to REALLY ask my mom to give me so much food/bad food? How can I get myself more motivated or self-controlled with exercising/eating right? (link)

I am going through the same thing right now. I can tell you that the more you excercise the easier it will be to remember and want to. Write yourself notes to help you remember or set an alarm when you want to do it. If your mom won't help you in portioning your food sit down with her tell her your goals and why you have them and tell her that your going to have start throwing food away. Try drinking a cup of tea before you eat or a glass of water. Sometimes the body will signal hunger when really you are thirsty. You should drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. Also don't eat fast as it will shut off the full signals that your body sends you. As for support You could go online to Sparksjpeople.com or a sight like it. They will help you set up a routine and help you track your progress.

I was looking through my hair and found strands of gray hair ...I don't think its genetic because my mother started getting gray hair when she was 25 ..why am I getting gray hair at 16?? Gray hair can be genetic so maybe you have a relitive other than your mom who started having gray hair earily. Also it is caused by stress so if you are under any kind of pressure, gray hair maybe a result of that. You could talk to your salon stylest and see if she recomends anything to stop it or cover it up.

ok i'm 18 and he's 19, we dated for two years and really loved each other a lot. we'd never felt that way about anyone before, were completely in love, even talked about getting engaged and married and everything. well, we had some problems, and between those and the stress in each of our own lives, we broke up a few weeks ago. he said then and now that he still wants to get back with me in the future and still wants to marry me, but he just needs some time to himself right now. at first, yeah i was really torn up and so hurt and felt like everything was my fault and all i wanted was him back. but after about a week, i've been pretty much fine. it's weird not having him around and having someone always there, but i'm not upset anymore. i dont think i'll ever find anyone else like him and that kind of hurts, and after all the trouble i dont even really think it's worth it to get back together, but why am i not hurting? for being together nearly two years, i thought it would take me months to get over him, so why was it like a week? seriously what's going on? usually i'm the type that does take a long time to get over someone, so why is it different with my first & true love? i really don't hurt anymore, i dont even know if i want him back.. i didn't expect that? i know i loved him... so what the heck? is this weird? i'm not in denial or avoiding the subject or anything, so i'm really confused. You shouldn't stress about why you aren't morning him like you thought. You say that he was your first and true love? What if he is only ment to be your first but not your last? Maybe you have grown appart and want different things. He says he still wants to marry you and maybe someday he will. Today how ever you should let him know how you feel, that way he won't try and say you were leading him on, and focus on the things in your life that need your attention now.
