i've been playing guitar for a while now, and think i should take a step up from my junk old one. i don't have the deepest pockets, but might be able to manage around $400 after a while. I'm not so much into the les paul or stratocaster hype and am looking for something different and good, but not too gothic looking, my main choices so far are the fender cyclone, the ESP viper, and the epiphone flying V. any suggestions are appreciated, thanks (link)

Hey! I play guitar too, if you want a rock sound, get an Ibanez (it's what all the rockstars are using now, that's what the guy at the store told me.) But, hey at least you're not using your brothers like me. Just get the one that you like, if you can afford it, and it's what you like, awesome! No one else is going to play your guitar, so you should get what you like. Fender is nice too. I don't know if that helped, I'm kinda conceided talking about myself... well, this has probably been answered already so I don't know if it was any help.

Oh, gosh, that reminds me of... well... me. Anyways. What you gotta do is say hi to him if he's in any of your classes and then he'll know something's up and then you can eventually start conversation with him. Don't be shy, what have you got to loose? If he's a big jerk, forget about him, he's not worth it, but if he's nice, GO YOU!

one of my best guy friends, lets just say named steve, just told me today that he tried cutting his wrist tha other night..i saw the cut, it was TINY but still it was a cut..i dunno if he is trying to get attention or if he is serious..because the cut looked like it was from a longggg time ago and he said he just recently had done it..i dunno what to say to him because no matter what, real or not, i have to support him, etc...he is like the happiest pesron i know,but i guess i dont know anymore...help (link)

Just tell him not to do it. Because it's not good, and maybe he is just trying to get attention, but we don't know that so just tell him that you are worried about him and that he shouldn't do it.

ok look me and my friend have been friends for about ever since i have moved to here in the U.S.A we are both in 8th grade. But latley my other friend cory Has been spreading rumors that me and my friend are going out i mean she is a cool person and we flirt a lot but we are nothing more then friends. Could it be possible that she likes me i meen i dunno the signs if a girl does like me what are the signs???

I am a girl so I know. If a girl likes you, she'll get really quiet around you, and she will say anything random, just to talk to you. I know I just said she'll get really quiet, but come on. Well, that's what I do. But, if you are just friends, why would you want more?

I put this in Friendships because I didn't nkow where else to put this. Well, I'm a new student this year and I've made a few friends. Everyone's really nice to me and so far there hasn't been one person who dislikes me, but this one guy in my 3rd Hour class. He's part of the "popular crowd" but he just really gets on my nerves. If I just turn around to glance at something, he goes "TURN AROUND, I DONT WANT TO LOOK AT YOU!" Today, he was walking in front of my desk and he said something mean (I forgot what it was) and so naturally, I hit his arm playfully and he walked away. When he put his books on his table he walked over to me and said, "Don't touch me because you're really ugly." That one hit me really hard. I never really thought anything about my looks or stuff like that but now since I'm new to the school and he said that I'm starting to feel self conscious. The other day a girl pointed me out and said, "Isn't she so pretty?" but when he makes fun of me(which happens probably everday) I get hurt and pushed down for a while. I'm sorta friends with some of his friends but I'm not really that good enough friends to tell them to talk to him for me, especially since he's dating one of them! I'm sick of him always hurting me and always trying to push him down. I've tried telling him to stop but obviously he won't quit. I don't know what to do... (link)

He either really likes you and can't figure a NICE you to treat you, or, he is just a big bully. You should just ignore him if he's going to be like that, and if he talks to you and says, "turn around" or whatever tell him you have a right to look that way. And if he says anything back, just ignore him. Because, if he knows it's not bugging you and you are not getting annoyed by it, he'll stop. You DON'T want to give the satisfaction of him bugging you. So, try what I tell you, ignore him.

ok i do alot of modeling. ever since i was little ppl told me i should b a model. im like 5'5 and 98 pounds. im not anorexic even tho ppl think i am but i dont care lol. well i spend alot of time modeling and im really tired n dont have alot of time but i dont want to cut back. should i cut back and model a little less or should i just deal with it? thanx much (link)

If you need time to yourself shoot for it. I act a lot and the hours are demanding and I don't have a lot of time for myself, let alone other important things, so I didn't do the next play. If you feel you need a break, go for it.

Okay. As you all know Halloween is coming up and I have a problem. Halloween is on a Sunday, and my mom set a curfew of 9:30. (that aint cool!) What can I say to make her let up on the lame curfew?

Well, be lucky you even get to go out on Halloween... I can't. But anyway, do this only if it is your last resort, suck up a lot. And then ask politely if she can let you out till later (but not something rediculaous)

I'm awkward and shy. I don't know how to talk to girls or tell whether or not girls like me. I'm in my senior year of high school, and i'm turning 17 on 10/10. so i realize this is kinda pathetic. I'm not very funny or spontaneous either. How do i flirt/be funny so girls will like me? I am being myself 24/7, and that isn't really working. (link)

Hey, just so you know, I am a girl so i know what i want. Being yourself is the most important, don't change who you are just because you want girls to like you. And you don't necissarily have to be funny (well, i like funny guys, anyway.) But, just say hi to someone and start a conversation about anything, you know, maybe something that's going on at school or something, and if they ignore you, they are bums.

Okay well met this guy on the internet .. and we've been talking for about a year now . and i really think im in love with him ..and we talk about our fellings for eachother.. and he feels the same things for me as i do him ..He has never saw my pic befor .. bur he said it dosent matter if im Ugly or..pretty .. he said all that matters .. is the way he feels .. and he said ..that it WOULD NOT CHANGE anything if i was ugly .. well what i want to kno is .. if i should just cut it off with him because i kno were never going to meet i mean we might .. he lives in flordia and i go there every summer but ..i dont want my feeling for him to get any stronger then what they already are for him .. what should i do ?

Well, I don't want to burst you bubble, but people you talk to on the internet could be a totally different person from who you think they are. Sometimes people lie because they know you won't find out because you don't know them and have never saw them. But, it's your choice to talk to him or not.

Ok, I like the whole “crimp” style, but when I crimp my hair it goes all poofy. Is there any way I can still crimp my hair w/o it going poof on me? Thnx everyone! (link)

Okay, first blow dry your hair. Then, but the crimper on all the way hot (it sounds scary at first, but if you want to have a distinct crimp, you gotta.) And hold it there for a while (like 5 seconds) And do all the sections of you hair. After that, use hair-spray on it because it keeps it in it's shape and doesn't freeze. That's what works for me, but all hair types are different, so just try it.

everyday we go to lunch and me and a few friends play truth or dare.. well like im never dared to do anything so im usually happy. i was dared the other day to kiss this boy jake.. and i did. because him and i have kissed before.. yeh sure its no harm done and we acted like it never happened. but my friends made a BIG deal over it for nothing.. what do i do to tell them to chill!? Tell them truthfully that you are sick of it and that they are the one's that dared you! They don't have to make a big deal about it, you were brave enough to do it! Just say this, "guys, it's done."

Oh my gosh, that is so weird. I feel like that too, I am like, "why does everyone else have a boyfriend, and no one has even asked me out?!" I am in highschool, so ya know... But, if you want guys to pay attention to you, just be yourself. If there is a particualr guy that you have your eye on, just say hi to him. Because that tells him that you're interseted in him. Okay, it's okay to bath your dog. It won't hurt her. A woman still takes a bath when she's pregnant, right? So I don't think it will hurt your dog. Just don't you know, rough around with her because that might hurt her.
