you could just go some where with a group of friends and he could just happen to be there and you could ask your parents if you can go out with your friends to the movies or something and go with them and sit some where else not by your friends so it could just be you and him

i used to be good at basketball until certain circumstances in my life forced me to give it up for a long period of time.
i'm in love with it again; but unfortunately i am badly out of practice. still decent, but not great.
is it possible (please look at the age*) for me to improve, and regain my old skill? obviously i am going to practice- but will simply practicing do it?
i understand that this is all very general, but please just tell me what you know.
also, any general tips on how to get better at basketball (exercises, etc) would be very much appreciated.

Run alot.. and use arm weight things and strenghten your muscles and then practice dribbling and shooting do like 500 free throws a day. shoot until you cant miss (all that stuff i did and i got really really good)

my cousin who is like one of my best friends is a little theift...she steals from my sister and me all the time she got caught stealing from walmart...well this girl(we'll call her bob) bob thought my cousin was her friend...but that night my cousin was at her cousins b'day and she took bobs cell phone and took it apart and hid it in her cousins bathroom...she told me and i thoguht how could she do something like that! so like to weeks later, last night i was on the internet and so was bob...and if ur cell was stolen and taken apart wouldnt you like to no where it is... well i told bob where it was and bob told my cousins cousin who told my cousins brother whose dad was looking at my cuzs bros ims and saw what it said and so now my cousin is pissed at me...should i say sorry for doing the right thing!!!plzz help me (link)

There's a 'rock event' (like a disco but with rock music) that goes on in my town every month or so, and most of my mates go to it. Out of the seven of us, five go (I don't). This place has a really bad rep. and most people who go there drink, smoke and do drugs, but of course my friends parents have NO IDEA about this. All of my five friends who go have gotten into smoking, and two of them are serious binge drinkers. One guy I know but am not great friends with also goes to this place and has gotten into illegal drugs, as has one girl I was kinda 'hi in the hallway' friends with, and she got expelled and charged by the police for it. Now my problem is, I will NOT stand by and watch my friends slowly kill themselves with a load of alcohol, drugs and cigarettes, but how can I stop them? I can't say anything about how dangerous it is because that's like preaching and they know the dangers but don't care. I am thinking of breaking friends with them...three of them are moving into my house in a couple of months and I have told the two of them moving in with me that smoke and drink that they can forget moving in if they think they can smoke in my house and they just laughed. I don't want to preach and I know if they don't want to stop I can't make them...but what do you think I should do? I am NOT standing by and watching them die. There's also the added problem that I am extremely asthmatic and being in a house with smokers would (I've checked this with a doctor) kill me within a month, but my friends won't listen to this either. I love them all loads but I am not putting up with this any more and I am not putting my life on the line because they are too selfish to stop smoking. CAN I make them see sense? Or should I just break friends and move on?

You should not be friends with them any more. If they cared about your asma then they would stop but obviously they dont, so dump them and get new friends that dont do drugs and stuff.

sorry i didnt no what this went under, so i put it under friendship.
anyways, im going to my friends sleepover tonight and if i stay up most of the night/all night then i get a headache, but the thing is, i think everyone is going 2 stay up all night and i dont want to be the only one asleep, while everone is having fun.

I think it is possible to be to nice i wish i was to nice but im not LoL well i think you are to nice so you should start notXacly being mean but juss dont be to nice.. like start hanging out with groups of friends and try to talk to all of them juss as much as you talk to the others. Hope i helped

In my school people get picked on school temas basically because they are friends with the coach. they could be not as good as one person but if they know the coach they will still make it. well i dont know the coach and im trying out for basketball but i dont know if i should because they probally wont pick me cause i dont know the coach cause im ok at basketball im not the best but im not bad (sorry if this is confusing) my question is though should i try out or not? I think you should try out because your probly good so the coach should pick by talent not by favorites but if he picks by favorites then the basketball team doesnt deserve you Lol hope i helped.
