just be nice to everyone. i know it sounds dumb, but just when you walk by someone you barely know just say hey and they'll proably think like "wow that was nice of her we barely ever talk" and then she'll say hi back to you. if you do this with everyone you'll soon have a million frineds. being popular shouldn't be about yer clothes or yer makeup. it should be able just being nice. hope i helped. sry this was so corny :-P

well, you already have a long distance relationship. you're friend like the other guy, and she was probablly only telling you he liked you, becuase this upset her. i mean, it might seem like you get everything! (a boyfriend, a the other guy to like you!) so stick with your long distance relatinship and let your friend try to get the popular boy, but if she can't and if your relationship with ur long distance guy is falling apart, then dump the guy whos far away, ask ur friend if you can have the popular guy, then go for it! remember, friends are forever, and guys... Alright, I have braces and I TOTALLY symapathize with you. First of all don't worry, the pain WILL go away soon! But try to cut or rip your food into small peices, or eat soup or something for your meals. But I reccomend Advil or Motrin. Take either one, and it'll probably work. And for the future you might want to take Advil or Motrin right before you go to your orthodontist. That'll help. Also, try to like watch tv or something. Read a book. Go online. Just distract yourself from the pain. Alright hun, well I hope I helped, but I'm getting my braces off next week and I'm so excited. I can already tell that my teeth will look great, so trust me, it's worth the pain! HANG IN THERE!

You have four years to think, so I wouldn't worry too much. Also, you're extremely lucky if your parents are willing to pay for u to go to college. Use that oppurtunity. i'm having a definete dilemma! i go to an all girls school, so makeup isn't a big deal. in the grade i'm going into, people wear makeup more, and i love wearing makeup, but just... don't. not regularly, at least. how can i start wearing make up without it being obvious??? and also, you know when u see celebs and they aren't wearin makeup, and they look wierd... almost like sickly, just cuz you're used to seeing them with makeup.... well i don't want that to happen to me!!! if i don't feel like putting on my makeup, i don't want it to be obvious! any way to wear makeup subtley, but not pointlessly???? (by pointlessly, i mean like if i looked the same as before, it would be stupid to even wear makeup)
just wear blush, a little mascara, and lip gloss. other than that just be natural!

Hello. My name's Amanda and I'm 15 and from New York. I've loved the spotlight since I was a very little girl and I can't think of a time when I wasn't entertaining someone. My main interests are dancing and acting but I also do a lot of singing and modeling too. I remember being a little girl and singing and dancing around the house and I'm always getting complimented on my acting and modeling skills, haha. Of course I don't want to sound like I'm bragging but it's just the truth and I want you to know the truth before you go and give me advice. Anyways, I've been taking dance classes since I was about 5 or so and when I was in 3rd grade I started singing in a children's choir along with getting vocal training. I sung in the choir untill I was 13 and now I've moved on to other things. I'm searching for an agent right now and I've begun taking acting classes. The reason I'm writing here is because I need advice on my parents. They don't seem to support me as much as they used to. I mean, they're awesome parents but they think I should be more focused on becoming a lawyer or doctor(which I have no interest in) then becoming an entertainer or someone in the entertainment industry. I don't understand why they're acting so cold lately towards my dreams. I know that it takes a lot of work to become something but I'm willing to work hard for it and I just wished they had my back. Also, my friends seem to think that my vocal and acting training and stuff is silly and they don't see why I go on auditions and stuff. It really hurts when they mock me for what I do...I know they don't mean to hurt me but I don't like it at all. Most of my friends are really big jocks and so am I but I'm a very verstile(sp?) person and I like other things too and they can't seem to understand that. Anyone have any advice? I've been goin out with this guy for about a year now. We both really like each other and I believe it could be love (I'm 18)... we've talked about having sex, we're both virgins and he told me he's ready to have sex with me and wouldn't push me if I wasn't (and he hasn't pushed me at all)... but I don't really know if I am or aren't... so how can I tell for sure if I'm ready?!
My opinion - don't do it until you're SURE you're ready. This is something you dfeintly won't want to regret doing. You're lucky though - sounds like you're boyfriend is a really great guy!

Remember - friends usually last forever, and boyfriends usually don't - so while you're friends obsessing, just hang out iwth your other friends. Try to change the subject on the fone, but if she's rambling about this guy, Just tell her you hafta go. Do things with your other friends, but don't stop being friends with her, and if she keeps obsessing, let her know (but without being mean) that this guy is taking over her life, and you miss hanging out with her.
