there is this guy in 9th grade that i think is really hott..and im only in the 7th. and we kno each other..and talk and stuff..but just not that well, and he knos i think he is hott..but, he said wen im in 9th grade he'll think about goin out wit me. which is okay..that doesnt bother me..but im really starting to like him and i have a b/f..and my b/f always asks me if i like anyone else, and we are truthful to each other so i tell him i like the 9th grader..and hes like wat? hes barley in high school..so he acts weird about it or w/e wen i tell him..and i fell like i can only tell the 9th grader stuff..and not any of my friends..because they might take it weird..so..idk..im just confused..is this normal or w/e??- -sry it sounds so retarted..i rate..please help!

Well, it sounds to me that you're doing what a lot of girls do. He seems like Mr. Perfect, and your boyfriend seems like, he's just, there. Dont break up with your boyfriend, really, cause you'll lose someone that is really awesome to you. He obiviously cares about you, while the guy in 9th grade is leading you on a little bit. Dont get a broken heart because of the 9th grader. Of course, you can still talk to him, and be friends with him. Just go a step at time, sweet heart! Tell your boyfriend how you feel, just tell him that you're having these odd feelings, probably having to do with your womanhood and he should understand. Just keep it cool with this 9th grader. Ok guys, Im somewhat at a loss. Most questions on this website tend to be at least somewhat mundane. Stuff that, while it could be very important to the poster, isnt life threatening or seriously life altering.

However, every once in a while, we come to the ones that ask a question about something where they stand to screw either their own, someone elses, or both lives.

Case in point, Ive just answered the second question from a girl who is 16 and wants to get pregnant when shes single, living at home, and basically incapable of supporting herself, much less a baby.

Now, this is not the only example, just a very recent one. Worst of all, many of the questioners in these cases are completely opposed to opposing points of view. They are determined that theirs is the right course of action, and are determined to screw themselves and others in the process.

So, my question to the masses, is does anyone know how to get through to idiots like this? Does anyone even think its possible? Im asking mostly those 18 and up, anyone can respond but Im looking for viewpoints from people who are at least looking back at the high school perspective, not in the throes of it.

Well, weird as it is, people think that doing stupid things, will make them happy. With your example, maybe she just wants to have something to love, and look forward to. I know, it isnt good that people are thinking these things, but it's not like we're their parents. They came to this site, to either get advice or attention. As just like that other girl said, we dont know their backrounds. We really cant do anything about it, sadly. We really dont have power over them. When you give someone advice, it's usually because you're trying to help them get through a problem and you pray that they pick what you said, but it's not TELLING them what to do. It's their lives, they have the chances and oprituniies to screw them up, sad as it sounds, maybe you should bring this up to someone like your example. Plus, i've found, that most questions asked here, are questions they people who asked, can answer themselves, that's why they came here. Hope i helped, and trust me, i feel your pain.

Ok, well, when i first read this, the first thing that popped into my mind is, could you possibly do something she's afraid of, or something she is not able to do?? Me and my cousin used to do that, and then i stopped doing stupid stuff, and became what i wanted to be (which turned out was exactly the opposite thing she wanted to be!). Try finding out who you really are, try shopping at different stores, etc. see if you can be something different than her, and if worst comes to worst, tell her how you feel.

I know how you feel. This happens to everybody-- believe it or not. Try being a new you. Get a haircut, change your dress style, get a new nick-name, make new friends, go to new activities, try and be like your favorite stars, but yourself at the same time. Forget the past. It's all behind you. I know you can't forget it, but try not to think of it. Try focusing on something that you really want to do. Try being, a whole new you. Do something that the old you, would never do. Try and make up with that friend of yours, be who you want to be. Dont just be stuck with your shell, change your spirit too.

ugh all my friends are always asking me for my sis's sn and i don't wanna give it to them because like i don't want them talking to her and NONE of my friends understand! god it's so annoying it pisses the hell outta me and like when i copy a conv. between me and her i change her sn to 'my sis' and they're like "omg ______ u can give me ur sis's sn" and i get so mad! can you give me some advice?

Well it sounds like a lot of people know about your sister, and i'm guessing your sister is popular at school or something, but in anycase, if your friends are asking you for your sister sn, then try to go to some activities at school and make new friends, you're old friends will notice how much you mean to them, and they will pay more attention to you. If it's your sister's friends then, just say "ok, well i'm her sister, not her, and if you REALLY want her sn, ask her not me, and if you dont have it already, she obviously dosent want your friendship, so do us a favor and get a life" then block them. always works, if you need any more advice, i'm always here! hope i helped!!

Okay, this kid asked me this question about how if you have songs already downloaded, how do you burn them to a cd?

ok well what you have to do is just put the CD into the CD player, and it'll show the songs and say "load songs from CD" or something similar, and then it'll show all the songs on the CD, then you save the list of songs something like "playist from (add band here), and then you put a blank CD in the drive and click "playlist from (add band here) from your documents, it'll show you all the songs on a play list, and somewhere there will be a "burn" button, it's that easy, but it might be confusing at first, just try to use your head, because i dont know what kind of computer you have. ok, well starting out, when you do go out with this guy, you dont have to tell your dad right away-- like if you're going to a movie just be like "oh, well me and my friend (say one of your bff's name who is a girl) and i are going to see (insert movie here)" so just dont mention the guy, then once you feel it's not awkward, then tell him that you got a boyfriend, but dont say anything about going out with him before. Okay. First of all, age dosent matter. Really, it dosent. As long as you like the guy, you're fine. Second of all, he's your boyfriend, why worry? you trust him, he trusts you, and past boyfriends said you're really good. When i first when out with my boyfriend when i was 12 i made out with him and i didnt even know how to, but he showed me, now we both look back and laugh at it. And plus if he says he dosent like the way you kiss, ask for lessons! lol, it'll be fun, and you'll get better. So dont worry about it. Just do it with him and go one step at a time. whats a really good hair straightener to keep my hair straight ALL day and not like poof.. my hair isnt really thick but its kinda poofy ..i want a straightener that costs like around 20$ no more than 30$

well if you only want to use that ammount of money, the truth is it will REALLY limit the straigteners people could sugest. I think you should go to you're local Rite-Aid and get a hair straigtener there, they're around $20 and they work pretty darn well. However, everyone's hair is different, so it may or may not work, but you should try it. I hope i helped! please keep me in mind for the future.

OK, well i think what you should do is just full ot tell him to stop flirting with you cause he is taken. Dont make it sound like you hate him or that you're trying to hurt him or warn him, just make it sound like you're not interested, and since he asked your friend out-- HE's intrested in her. Also, i think you should talk to your friend about it, even though you think it'll hurt her.. think about in the future when she finds out for herself, and YOU KNEW! the guilt would be really bad.. and i'm sure she'd be even more sad if she found out later after going out with him more than once. It's better to tell her now, before she get's TOO attached. I know it may be hard- but it's for the best. Well you can maybe wear it backwards, you can make it lopsided, you can put your one arm through the sleeve thing and the other just laying out lol, all kinds of things, just put it on and look in the mirror and think about it. About your hair, you can take your hair put down your hair and pull all your hair to the middle of you head on top, have a scrunchy, and tye it, like it was a pony tail.
