You may get migranes all the time and need a perscription for it, so you might want to see your doctor!

Aww! =/

I'm soo sorrie to hear you have a headache!! I know what it's like - I LIVE with a constant headache!! I have MSG sensitivity, so that's what does me in. It NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER goes away!! This has been going on with me since I was 7!! I get it from the foods I eat. Do you get headaches often?? Daily?? Medication for me doesn't ease the tension of my headaches either. Have you tried it all though: Tylenol? Extra Strength Advil? Ibuprofen?

Well it doesn't take a genius to tell you to try to take a nap [if possible]. Of course keep the room with dim light and zero sound. Speaking through past experiences.. the silence hurts more than noise sometimes, so maybe you might want to keep the radio on so very slightly, to the point where you can't even make out the words -- this helps me a TON!!!!!!!!! Also, it's good to make shore your hair is completely down [flat on your head] - this is one less thing tugging on your skin, ya know?? Another thing, for many people, they meditate. It probably seems silly, but I've tried it before [with as many migraines as I get I'm willing to try ANYTHING!] Just sit calmly and take small slow breaths, while picturing a scribbled on chalk board. Pretend your headache is the white chalk scribbles, and picture yourself erasing away the headache. After saying that, I realize it DOES seem a tad bit odd and off the wall, but it's completely up to you whether the headache is bad enough for you to resort to that or not, but give it a chance; no one has to know. ;D And the most IMPORTANT thing to do... apply ***strong*** pressure to the spot that is pounding, whether that be the temple, the side of your head, the top of your head, between your eyes and so on. Apply pressure and hold it down for about 30 seconds. After that, you will notice an immediate difference.

I'm sorrie to hear you're not feeling well, but hopefully this has been of SOME kind of help here! Best wishes, from someone who knows EXACTLY what you're going through!!!

ncblondie answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 10:58 pm:
First, try to figure out what, if anything, is causing the headaches. If you've been reading a lot or spending lots of time on the computer, it could be eyestrain causing the headache. Making sure to take breaks while doing these activities will help prevent eyestrain.

Since you said that medications do not work, I would suggest talking to your doctor. They can determine what is causing the headaches and then prescribe a treatment. I suffer from migraines myself and had to be prescribed prescription medicines for the pain since OTCs did not work.

do you get them after you read? because that happened to my sister, and it was an eye disease that she had...if it's not, then try excedrin. that and ib profin are the 2 very best medicines for headaches. excedrin also works for muscle pain and tooth aches and a bunch of other stuff too...but if you can't swallow pills or something like that, then caffine is proven to get rid of headaches. so when i don't have any medicine, i drink some coke or dr. pepper or a mountain dew. mountain dew works best for me. i hope that your headaches go away soon.
also...how often do you get them? because they could be migrains, which you would need to talk to a doctor about. feel better!

do you wear contacts or glasses? your headache could be caused by them.
or they could be caused by stress, focusing to hard, or neck/back problems.
think about what time of the day you get them the most, and what you are doing .. then go to your doctor.. and tell them. I get horrible headaches around __. i get them __ many times a week. and i am usually doing ___ or it is after i do ___.
but for now what you can do to help is, take out your contacts and take off your glasses (if you have them) take 2 advil liquid pills. and then lay down with a cold wet wash cloth over your forhead for about 20 min..
it helps a lot!
i found out my headaches are caused by my eye sight and neck and back problems.
i would talk to your doctor about them next time you go in <3 justine

do you wear glasses? well if you do and arrent, try to put them on, if you dont, then tell your parents and have them take you to the hospital-- or you can just deal with the pain. it really depends on whether how bad the pain is. Hope i helped! keep me in mind for the future!!
