tayxO answered Tuesday August 16 2005, 10:37 pm: well u really cant get a REALLY great straightener for that cheap but im not sure how much this one costs -- hot tools wet && dry i think its called i heard it works pretty good!..HIH
tellmemore381 answered Monday August 15 2005, 5:29 pm: Hot Tools is a really good brand of srtaightener. Use one with a large iron part. Because you have thick hair, the thin ones wont work as well. Also try a straightening spray, like L.A Looks Straghtening Spray, while using a srtaightener. It keeps your hair from going frizzy and makes it alot easier and faster to straighten. Hope that helped! <3 [ tellmemore381's advice column | Ask tellmemore381 A Question ]

orphans answered Monday August 15 2005, 2:34 pm: I know you said no more than 30$, but I use this straightener by CHI, and My hair is like straighyt all day, and its pretty skinny so I can bring it places if I wanna make it wavy or straight. Its really nice, but it costs around 100 dollars, but I think its worth it. Don't use conair if the plates arent ceramic it will jut burn your hair, make it poof, and then go kinky/curly throughout the day. Hope I helped. Go for chi if you want quality... beautiful_disaster101 answered Monday August 15 2005, 2:20 pm: well if you only want to use that ammount of money, the truth is it will REALLY limit the straigteners people could sugest. I think you should go to you're local Rite-Aid and get a hair straigtener there, they're around $20 and they work pretty darn well. However, everyone's hair is different, so it may or may not work, but you should try it. I hope i helped! please keep me in mind for the future.
