Q: 13/f ~ Much help needed
Ok, so my best guy friend and I have gotten together 2 days ago. He was always kinda shy even when we were just friends, but when we IM each other its like we can talk about anything, ever since we got together we have been talking for almost 3 hours, on AIM, but we don't seem to have that kind of convo in person. What kind of topic starters could we talk about in person.
Secondly,
He is shy but I want to hold his hand or hug him so much, (I am not really wanting to kiss him until we can have a good convo in person.) but I don't know if I should make the first move or if I should wait for him, should I say something about it on AIM, or not? Help please!

Well,,this is definetly typical..at least thats what Ive heard,and if the guys shy,Maybe youre the one having to make the first move.And on AIM you should ask him if he feels uncomfortable with things like that.And then ask him if he feels uncomfortable talking to you in person because you guys just started going out.And if he never talks to you in person..try starting the conversasion.He prolly wants to talk to you..he just doesnt wanna mess up and say some embarrassing thing and make you hate him or something.And dont think of him not talking to you that much in person of him being ashamed of you or something stupid like that...He prolly REALLY likes you,and like I said..he just doesnt know what to say.

Your friend Sean's just trying to help..[I hope you know that.]And it sounds like the guys youre attracted are not very great guys.What about some 8th graders,or maybe even some freshman?.Otherwise,talk to him..and if its just a thing like you think hes hot or something,,its not real like.Im not sure how to give advice to this one.And if this guys a jerk-face,theres better guys out there.Im in 8th grade too,and I would definelty not take the risk of going out with a sophmore thinking nothings gonna happen if it already has with him and so random other girl.

So theres this kidd i like a lot. I dont know i think i may even love him. but its just hard. Like i've known him all my life & you could say we are pretty good friends. Now he has known i like him for a very long time. And everytime i see him or talk to me i just fall for him even more and more. Now he doesnt like me back which hurts. I know i cant do anything about him liking me but idk. Sometimes i just feel like im ugly and he doesnt like me because of that & if thast the reason it is extremely shallow. I know im not that ugly im not the prettiest thing but im deff not that ugly. And i've been told i have a great personality, which people say is what people like in a relationship. Most of my friends don't like him. They always tell me to get rid of him as a friend. But i've known him almost all my life. And ive long him for a very very long time. I want to get over him because although i may possibly love him. He doesnt love me back, well not like that. He jokes around with all the sexual hints and stuff, but he doesnt mean it & i know for a fact. I guess im just wondering what i should do. should i drop him as a friend? or should i try and stop liking/loving him. Because i honestly dont know how to get over him. It's like im always going to like him.

Awh,,Im so sorry.Im in this exact situation.I dont know where to go for advice,but maybe I can give it.
Youre prolly NOT ugly.and personality is VERY important.And think about this..why are your friends telling you to get rid of him as a friend?.Is he bad...does he do bad things...why would they tell you that?.Then you dont really need to "get over" him..your friends arent ALWAYS right.But then again,,if you think their oppion is valid,use it.Anyways..have your own oppion.Just listen to your heart.And if youre not sure of what it's saying..ask someone..a youth pastor,parent,aunt,uncle..and if it's REALLY bad,maybe even a conselor.

i dont know how to start this off but here it goes. as i told you, im in tenth grade, and theres this really cute boy in ninth grade. we have two classes together but its totally awkward. i really like him and im pretty sure he likes me, this is what i need your opinion on. he's given me some signs, but im not too good with this whole boyfriend girlfriend thing, but this kid is so cute. ok well we have lunch together, which is lunch and study hall, and we have band class together. he also sits one seat away from me in study hall, but i cant really talk to him there. so after lunch one day, i was standing with my friend in the hallway waiting for another friend, and he was walking down the hallway with two of his friends, and they shoved him into me. i know its corny, but hey it might mean something. and everytime i pass his table at lunch, all of his friends just stare at me. ive talked to him a little, but im so scared to because i dont want to get hurt or something. but heres the catch, his best friend thinks i like him. i actually dont, i mean hes cute, and we flirt, but its just not there really. and now i think the kid i like thinks i like his best friend? make sense? i hope so. and so yeah, do you guys think there might be a chance he likes me? and do you know anything i could really talk about with him, like to start a conversation? i dont really know, ive thought he was really cute ever since band camp, and im not sure what to do. ive never had a real boyfriend, unless you count a silly elementary one. but ive never been kissed and stuff. i dont think he has either so if neither of us are experienced isnt that bad?

Q: i have light brown hair with kind of faded blonde highlights, and my hairs really thick and wavy and curly at the same time. i usually straighten my hair though. but it looks good curly but i dont liek how its really thick. are there any good hair products that could make my hair feel less thick? and also what are some others to help it look shinier or healthier and stuff?

Well,my hair is actually EXACTLY like yours.
What I do is whenever I go to the salon I always ask the hair-cutter-person to thinnen my hair.
But now[since my hair is starting to thin by itself]I dont ask her to anymore.
And the same thing happened to my brother.
So just thinnen it about 3 times and see if i starts thinning by itself.
And I dont know about making it shinier..or healthier,but I know that the CHI straightener makes it shinny.Besides that I dont know about anything else.

Omg.It is confusing isnt it?.For one,I dont think its possible for you to totally stop liking someone just like that.It so takes time,or you find out that hes not who you think he is,which,hopefully,hasnt happened(that totally sucks.).I know,I know,your friend likes him,and has liked him.Its not fair that she flipped like that but it happened,and Im pretty sure you cant change that.But if he likes you(and,sadly he doesnt like your friend),and he asks you out,just either say that you cant,it wouldnt be right(even though you really want to,for your friends sake you would do this.),or you go out and make your friend feel uncomfortable and probably not be friends with you,even though its totally your life,and your friend shouldnt controll it.Idontknow if this helped.
