im really popular now
but im so scared that im not gonna be throughout highschool.
Ive been pretty popular for a few years, im just scared
and i know its not all about being popular
but once you get used to it, then its hard to not be it.

in my mind, being popular is being a leader, a friend. not just someone who is a fashion zombie and only worries about how many friends they have on myspace. im sorry if i make you angry but if you are so worried about being popular, you arent popular.
look on the bright side, as long as you have a reliable friend you are popular

Lately ive been having large amounts of trouble sleeping im only 15/m andi just cant seem to fall asleep ive lied in my bed for hours on end with my eyes closed and i cant fall asleep even if im tired idk why im having so much trouble. can someon please give me ideas to help me the sooner the better b/c its 1 am not and argh! Ok put it this way.
I eat way to much, im not even kidding.
I dont eat anything bad though , i eat all healthy foods but i just eat to much of it!
Like for example fruit.
I could sit there and eat it for like 30 minutes without stopping.
Or like cereal, i dont just eat one bowl. I eat like 3
I exercise all the time, but maybe im just bored?

I'm 14 years old. I weigh 125 pounds, I'm 5'6". I run about 20 miles every week, I march in a high school band, and I play lacrosse, so I'm pretty active. So my question is how much do I need to eat? I don't want to lose or gain any weight, I just want to maintain my healthy self. I recently lost about 10 pounds, so I'm not really sure how to stop, but not gain it back. Thanks (link)
with how much you are excercising you can eat pretty much anything but what is recommended id 3 big meals with and occasional snak imbetween or 5 small meals....you can choose

its simple.........cut back on junk, soda, and do alot of sit ups and crunches. i do about 200 sit ups and 50 crunches a day and ive already lost five lbs in 1 month and its right where your abs are!!

and yes crunches is half way up and sit ups are full

it is called a bmi (body mass index) test. if your bmi results are over 25 then you are over weight. if your results are over 30 then you are obese. you are also still going through puberty. all hirls are pudgy at your age. im 13/f too and i know i am. hey ill even tell you my weight

I don't have really bad acne or anything but its at the point wear my normal cleaser isn't doing anything and my acne is just getting worse. I use right now the neutrogena Clear pore cleanser/mask and then the on-the-spot acne stuff but it hasn't been helping at all i have been using for a long time too. I want to try pro-active, do u think it will help? Is there something else thats better?? o and i also have this really anyoing problem, like i will wash my face in the moring and by lunch time its all oily and gross and help with that? thanks a bunch!!

dont worry. it's puberty!!! buy some stridex pads. you can get em at like walgreens. when you feel ur face and it is oily....the just take out a stridex pad and clean your face. pro active does work.... ive never used anything better. buy it and if u dont like it they will give you your $$ back..


ok i dont have nipples im 13/f and its like their there but their not. you no how your belly button is its like inside? well thats kinda how my "nipples" are. is this kinda normal? does it happen to other people? and will they ever come?

dont freak out. im 13/f too and it is all natrual. puberty is what happens 2 u at this age. i know i sound like a pshyciatrist and what not but its not like you expose yourself to guys or atleast shouldnt be so dont worrk theyll come. and also..... they are there.... to see em it has 2 be cold!!! lol

periods include getting cramps nd bloating so just relax and yes you should exercise but not to extremes. an hour a day is fine. as to food, just cut back on junk and limit sodas to one a day. watch... you woll lose the 9 pounds like that *snap*


So today i was at play practice and i tried to throw up after i ate like 3 or 4 times but i couldnt do it. But after i tried my stomach just hurt like no other. I dont want to do it but i cant help it. I feel like its the only thing i can control (link)

nom, if you think it is the only thing you have control over, try joining more sports and put everthing negative in your mind in controlling yourself to do your best.


how much exercise is enough to keep you in shape?? i've been an athlete ever since 3rd grade, but recently i sprained my ankle and it turns out i have a chronic ankle sprain. my parents thought it would be best to take the season off, or just not play. i can run forever, but i just can't turn it. would running 5 days a week for 30 minutes a day on the tredmill plus crunches and the 6 inches stretch be enough?? i eat 3 meals a day and sometimes one snack, sometimes i don't have a snack. any opinions??

this question depends on your weight and height, you dont wanna over do it because you could get seriously hurt. my advice would just be to lay off a lot of junk and soda (not all of it but not too much).


There is this boy in all of my classes except library and computer. I go to a small Catholic school btw. Anyway, I think hes sweet and cute and really nice. he sits next to me in honors algebra. but i made fun of him last year for no reason and i think he kinda likes me but im scared that if i ask him out, his mom (who hates me) will get mad.
what should i do?

what i think is that you should email or write a letter to the boy and his mother, say sorry, then ask him out if he accepts your apology. if that doesnt work then you know hes not interested. trust me, if he really does like you, he will give in and he will tell his mom you are a good person
