im an atheist, and im considering Christianity, because someone really made me realize, that there has 2 be a God.She gave me so much proof, but i'm still not sure if i'm ready because i've been an athiest for about 2 or 3 years.what should i do?
Do what you think is right for you. He gave you a choice. If you pursue it...pursue it in baby steps. Take it at your own pace. Find a Bible study to go to. Start at your own pace. No one expects you to be all holy within a week...it takes time. Take all the time you need.

I think I like this guy, and he called me hot and everything but hes in the grade bollow me. Should I go for it or just forget about him?
First off how old are you anyways?
Second off...I will say go for it. But it last long after high school...think about those possibilities.
I have seen relationships with 2 year age differences and its really hard for the college kid to still be romantically involved with the high school kid.

my friend and i just started talking again and i am asking like how skool is going for her and how she has been! but all her answers are just "good"! how do i get her to talk more?
Ask her questions about somethign shes really passionate about. Even the quietest person can have long conversations about somethign they are very knowledgable about.

I just got braces a few weeks ago and I have to get them tightened for the first time on February 1.. I was just wondering.. When you get them tightened, does it hurt as much as it does when you first get your braces on? Do you have to like eat soup and stuff again for a few days after you get them tightened? Another question.. My ortho showed me this special way to floss, but it's such a hassle. It takes forever to floss, and it's really complicated. Do most people floss when they have braces? Or is it okay if I don't floss.. and just brush my teeth really well? Thanks.. I'll rate HiGh!
It does hurt a bit more when you get them tightened...but it only hurts for about 2 days. To make you feel better it only hurts when you eat (at least in my experience). I suggest soup and mash potatoes...and apple sauce for a snack.
As for the flossing, it is a very big pain in the butt.

16/f. I really want to be an actress. Its totally possible for me too. I only live a half an hour away from Hollywood/Burbank and all the other cities with studios. I've been an extra in a few films and I've been to many tapings of shows. I often go to http://www.casting-call.us can you give me some advice on auditions or any sites that post auditions? Thanks.
Acting school...acting is alot harder than one would think. Your 16 and there is A LOT OF USEFUL MATERIAL some high school theater teachers dont teach you.
If you wanna try and get an agent, its a bit gutsy for your age, but if you want to try it. If you dont wait until you feel confident in your knowledge about the business.

This kid in my school, Danny, he knows I had an eating disorder problem, so I lost a really lot of weight; but everytime he sees me he makes some sort of rude comment. They all tend to be toward my weight. For instance at lunch I asked my friend if they had any money I could borrow because I left mine at home, and he said something rude like "What for lunch? Looks like you've eaten enough". Which totaly goes over my head because I've lost about 60lbs since the begining of last summer. So, how should I confront him, or should I not even bother I know theres got to be a way to shut him up without having to bring the principal into it or anything like that. Or should I just resort to that?
Avoid him...if he goes out of his way to harass you about the issue then go the principle.

Sorry if this is long!
Ok, I liked this guy and my friend knew so she "hooked me up". The boy lives in my friend's hood. So, my friend said we were going out but we never once went on a date. So, one day he emails me and says, I can't go out with you now sorry." So it was kinda no big deal, but I was going to the movies w/ my friend and this guy. Anyway, I saw him and there was another girl (we are in diff. grades). So, this weekend my friend invited me over and I said yes. My so called "ex" will prob. be there. How can I act like I have moved on and I don't care bout him and I love my life w/o him? Please help, I really need it!
Treat him as you did before you "went out". Be civil towards him, dont be rude even though he did do a rotten thing. Act casual.

Ok i moved 2 months ago into an apt so I can build a house. But my dad is getting on my last nerves. Hes really my step dad. I even asked my mom to let me find my real dad and let me move with him. I am sooo sick and tired. I am gonna run away if it dont stop. Plus he makes fun of all my poor friends. I hate him. I have a friend whos mom isnt the best and he just talks and talks terrible. I am really skinnby and when I eat alot he will yell the name of my fat friends. Hes a hippocrite!!!!. I am so so so tired of him!!
what do I do?????????
please help1 I will give you a 5. Please I am desprate in need!
I am very avid in standing up against injustice. If your mother knows about it and does nothing, I think thats the time you put matters in your own hands. If your mother does ntohing to stop it, stand up to him next time he sasses off to you. No one should be treated like that...its long shot to be brave in a situation like that, but defending yourself I think would be the best option than just letting it slide and being angry about it.
If that doesnt work, which its a log shot to begin with...ignore him. Dont say a word to him. Is he just verbally abusive towards you, or does he treat your mom that way too?
DONT run away though.

okay so i went out with this guy for only two weeks...he asked me out ONLINE two days before school ended. he is hela popular and stuff and im not that popular and people said that we were kinda random, but we had soo much in common...and he was really hott. so after two weeks, he tells me that he's moving to a different state, and my bitchy friend told me he was lying so he didn't have to go out with me again, but then he really did move. now, its like 6 months later, i hela miss him and i dunno why....and he visited like last week but he didnt even want to hang out with me, and everyone was al "o ya he's in town i saw him today' but i had no idea..should i just get over him
Id get over him. If he was "going out" with you and after six months did not bother to see you, chances are there really wasnt a strong bond.
Hes been wasting your time.

Ok, there's this guy at my school (i live in Vermont) who everyone thinks is gay. Even though the rumors are most likely not true, no one wants to be his friend because of rumors, and neither do my friends. I really think it's terrible how people treat him, and I want to be his friend; I don't believe sexual orientation should affect friendship. How should I be his friend without making my friends mad, or making him feel uncomfortable when my friends want to hang out with me?
If he is gay hes gay, if he isnt someone started a very dumb rumor. If you wanna be his friend...beautiful. If your friends are mad at you, make it clear that you can be friends with whoever you wish. You CAN have other friends besides them.
As for making him feel comfortable around your friends...I would wait to ease him into the social setting, until your friends have gotten used to you socializing with him or when he is comfortable being around your friends.
That boy is a person and doesnt need to be pestered about petty things like sexuality. Good for you for wanting to be friends with him.

14/female Okay well this is going to be long, so I'm just going to warn you ahead of time, but please help. Well, a friend of mines mother has tumors in her head. Well about a month ago they were removed and there was this tube thing that the doctors put in her. Well less than a week ago the tumors came back and she had to go to the hospital for surgeory. I was pretty close w/ my friends mom and it's hard for me and one of my other friends to deal with it, and so were thinking about how our friend who's going through it is feeling. Well the girl who's mother is in the hostpital (Brittany) is being checked for tumors, and we just found out that she has one and will be getting her head shaved. Well a few of us girls (about 5) and a few close guy friends (about 10) were thinking of shaving our heads/cutting our hair really short. If you were the girl Brittany, how would you react to that? Would you think it's kind of mean/too hard to handle, or do you think it's a good gesture? I am so willing to do it because it's such a great friend, but I want some other opinions, the guys are defninitley doing it, and I got her a bunch of x-mas gifts and we've talked a lot. Brittany is very sensative when it come to her mom and her own problems and we think she'll either be sooo happy that she'll shed some tears of joy, or sooo sad that she won't be able to face us 'bald'. I know you guys don't know her, but if it were you, how do you think you'd respond. Again, I apologize for the lenght, I just wanted to add some detail, and sorry if it's confusing I tried to make it not confusing, but it still sounds that way to me. Thanks in advance for any help.
I think its a very sweet gesture. But if your still iffy about it, talk to her and see what she thinks. I know it spoils the surprise, but its better than her being upset about it when your hair is gone.
Thats a very nice thing you thought of. It shows dedication...all who are involved in this. I wish that more people had that sorta dedication to their friends.
Hope that shed some light...hope she gets to feeling better.

Hi I am christian, and I have a friend who is jewish. I want to get her a "holiday" present, but I am not sure what to call it, or if she would think it was rude. I am also not sure when i should give it to her. I don't know when haunaka is. What do you think?
Call it a Chanukah present...as a Jew myself, I am flattered when my Christian friends ecknowledge the Jewish holiday. "Holiday" present sounds a bit ambigious...vague...but refurring to it as a Chanukah present shows that you respect their faith, sounds more warm. You know?

i have a play comming up an i'm scared.what should i do to get over my fear on the stage
The fright or the "butterflies" is just extra energy your body keeps in. You wouldnt be doing what your doing if you werent afraid...take a deep breath before you go on...all your are feeling is spare adrenaline.
Thats just my take on stage fright, hopefully it will put it in a different perspective.
Break a leg.
