ok, im going 2 be starting highschool in august and I DONT KNOW ANYONE! I have NO idea what the highschool is like, and I dont know what kind of people are there. (Ive seen the HS before but nvr been in it) I want to make the impression that like im not slutty, but not a total dork. We have freshman orientation 2, and i dont know what to expect. Words cant describe how nervous i am. Every time i tell someone about my situation there just like "oh ull meet people" and its more complicated then that! someone please help!! :(

I think you should talk to your boss. Also if you want to keep your job iwould get rid of the nosering. I know its a hard decision but I think you will make the right choice.Also you can think of it, if you take off the ring, as a new style for you.

My parents always take their anger out on me.
My dad has been doing it for years, so I've gotten used to it.
Lately, my mom has become irritated with my dad,
and it seems like every day, she finds something to yell at ME about,
when I know she's really mad at my dad, not me.
She'll yell at me about the dumbest things like having too many files on the computer.
A few hours after she yells at me, she apologizes,
and asks if I accept her apology, which I don't,
because I think that's unacceptable that my parents can just take their anger out on me.
Do you think I should talk to my parents, or at least my mom about this?
I really think we need to go to family counseling.
Or should I just try to accept the fact that my parents get angry sometimes and need to do that occasionally? (link)

i absoulty hate my dad. omg. like. i cant stand him. hes so anoyying, i mean, ive always hated him, and i tired telling my mom, and she tried to fix it, but it didnt work. anyways, i spent like forever cooking this one thing, and hes like it taste like shit. and im like omg. and my mom was like focing him to eat it. and then, he never listens to me, like i always told him to take my dog out with the leash. but he never listened, and my dog ended up dieing, because of him. if he would have listened to me, it wouldn't of happened. and hes just so stupid sometimes, anything i do, is never good enough. & then for like all of 7th grade, i like failed all my classes, just to see what he'd do. and then i decided that was stupid, because im smart, and the quicker i can get out of the house and away from him, the better. and all he cares about is my brothers, and there stupid sports. but, when i was in cheerleading, and beauty pagents, he never even wanted to go. i mean yeah sure i know that would be boring for a guy, but still. anyways, my point is, how do i ignore him? or what can i do? I think you should talk to your dad. Communication is key. Maybe you can find out why he is doing this. IF that doesnt work ask your mom to sighn you both up for counsling be cause a relationship with your dad is an important thing in life.If he is still like that i think that you should not ignore him but stop giving a fuss to impress him.

My mother is getting married in September and I really think it is a mistake. I think she is really forcing her fiance to marry her and he feels guilty about telling her he doesn't want to. She tells me that he really wants to, but I don't think he does. I have spoken to him many times and he doesn't act like he is very interested in the wedding or in being married. I know he cares for her, she had two major heart attacks and he was by her side for both - and she broke her ankle recently and he was there for her every day. He goes places with her, comes to family gatherings, etc, so I do not doubt that he loves her, it's just the commitment of marriage - he was married before, and his ex-wife left him for someone she met on the internet, so it was not a nice separation and my mother was married to my father for 20+ years and it was a horrid relationship. My father was abusive and a compulsive gambler & liar - so I think she is just looking for peace in her life. I don't want to deny her any love or happiness - but forcing someone to marry you is not right. Her fiancee is still caring for his aging mother and the mother lives in his house, which my mother will be moving into after they are married. My mother thinks that his mother is not going to live very long, and if she dies, they are selling his house and moving out to a adult community. Now, this is what she is telling me, I haven't heard his side of the story.
I would hope he would tell her if he did not want to go through with this, but like I said, he doesn't want to make her unhappy. She is very obsessed with moving into the house and the wedding. This will be the first house she will ever live in, she lived in apartments her whole married life, and her fiancee is putting her name on the mortgage, so she feels that she owns the house with him. Legally she does, but the house is still her fiancee's and his mother's because they were there before she was. Her fiancee is remodeling the kitchen and other parts of the house, for her I suppose, but I am wondering if she is making him do that? It really bothers me that I feel this way, but I cannot shake it and I am on the verge of telling her how I feel, but I am wondering if that will damage our relationship or even if that will make a difference in how she is acting towards all of this? I have told her before how I feel, in a round-about way - but not directly. My two sisters feel the same way, but their attitude is that she is a grown woman and can make decisions on her own, and that her fiancee should tell her if he is not happy, but I really think he just doesn't have the guts to do so. Does my mom really want this fake happiness for the rest of her life? Should I tell her how I really feel? Any advice would be greatly appreciated (link)

Okay, i have a close friend and we'll call her 1 and i have another friend who's not as close but we'll call her 2. Both of my friends go to my school. 2 was coming over my house that day and 2 and me gave 1 a ride home. I didn't invite 1 to come with me and 2 because i hadn't spent any time with 2 in a long time. The next day i noticed right away 1 wasn't talking to me. 1 was still talking to 2, but the next day 1 wasn't tallking to me or 2. About a week later 2 called 1 and a few days after that 1 and 2 were talking again, but me 1 was still not talking to me. 3 weeks past and me 1 was STILL not talking to me!! Then came the last day of school..The last bell rang and we went to the front of the school like we do everyday and alot of people we usually stand with had started crying. I was one of those people and so was 1 and 2. 10 minutes later i hugged 1 and we started crying even more than before, we both said sorry over and over while we were crying. Now we're talking , but i still am not sure exactly why 1 stopped taling to me. Do you? if you have any idea, let me know!![All three of us are girls and we're all 14.] (link)

I saw a myspace layouts website mentioned on this site a while ago, and it was really great, but I forget what it was. I think it had 'myspace' and 'lyts' in the url but I'm not sure. The colours on the site were orange and green I think. It had codes, generators, backgrounds, and a few other things. It had contact buttons [like add, msg, stuff like that] with dancing cows, and ducks. I tried google and looked through at least 20 pages of results and couldn't find it. I tried searching this site too, but couldn't find the question it was in. It's not one of those like pimpmyspace or whatever, it's not flashy or anything. If anyone knows what I'm talking about I'll be so grateful, I'm desperate to find it haha, thank you. (link)

I had a brace 2 years ago, but all my teeth have moved back to how they originally were and I wore my retainer for like a year afterwards until it didn't fit anymore as my jaw changed shape.
I was wondering if there's anyway to get my straight teeth back without having another brace?!?

Okay, so there is this guy. We'll call him Jim. Well me && Jim Have been off & on since last year. We were recently broken up for like 6 months. So we started to see other people. We didnt really talk ... so i started to like this kid "ben" and he likes me... but After jim broke up the girl he was seeing he told me that he missed me so much and how beautiful i looked now and that he wanted me back... i mean i still like him ALOTT but i dont know if i should or not . I'm going to enter junior high soon and my friends and I have decidded to change our appearance a bit. I decided to highlight my hair with a few black strips(nothin' goth or anything. There is no way im going to tell you not to do it, but its up to you. I think it shows your personality and style. I think you should still talk to your mom about it and ask her listen.From what you said I think that you need to tell her that youre growing up. If it's somthing that reflects you then really strive for it. I recently had a prob with my mom and my style. I think that it is not the most important thing but discuss the situation again.

Ask her how she feels about it. If its only a couple of days I think you shuld just communicate and learn about her first. There are days I wish I never meet her, and I wish I never help her from her issues.

I am in love with my best friend that I know for 8 years. And I am a woman who found out that I am bisexual. I had past relationships with men but they never work out and I never got over her. It’s hard when I try to deny my feeling of her when she is a touchy close person to me. She leans on me and teases too. I know friends do that but she can go too far on being close. OK. For myself I would never do that to a girl. I think its important to keep a relationship. I think that you should find somebody else. If he likes you again its his fault for letting you go.If you have feelings for him too then you should talk to him about it. Never forget that communication is key.
