Hi everyone, my name is Kim, im 15 years old and i live in western PA. I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers, two brothers are in the services, which one is currently in Iraq and the other is leaving for there soon. im goin into 11th grade, and i play percussion in my school's marching band, and i throw javelin in track. i am a volunteer firefighter, and i am in an ambulance service. im getting my EMT certs. at the end of june. i like to help out my community any way i can. ask me any question you would like, and i will do my best to answer. i will warn you, i dont have answers to everything, but no one does. everybodys different, so there is no actual average size. Plus every brand runs different sizes. Average is average... it just depends on your bone mass, etc.... sorry i cant help much...

My skin used to be soft and smooth like last year, and just since this year it has changed. My face is bumpy and irritated. I don't have bad acne... Just you can see the pores on my nose and chin. And on my temples and forehead, I have pimples.. When I take a shower, the next morning they are back but just in different places. I've used EVERY single product on Earth. Anybody have any ideas? Also, is it healthy to wash your face more than once/twice times a day?

go to your dermatologist and ask for the prescription of Differin, if you havent tried that yet. im on differin and it works nicely. good luck

Ok, I met this girl at a friends party a while ago, she seemed nice. A few days ago he had another party and I talked to the girl again, and we are now friends on myspace. Here is where the question comes in. She is hitting on me, and telling me we should hang out. I am not sure of how I feel about her, so I was wondering what a safe way to hang out with her would be so I can avoid the question until I get to know her a little better.

Just tell her, that you wanna get to know her in person before you are dating. go to the mall/movies anywhere just as friends and make that clear. i told my now boyfriend that when i met him and he was fine with it, and we hung out several times before we were a couple. good luck

Theres this boy Jordan, he`s in the grade above mine. We both liked each other before, and he kissed me. It was so sloppy and gross, he just became completley repulsive, and we got into fights over stupid things. Now we both like each other again, or atleast I thought I did. I am 20, a little athletic but i could stand to lose 20 pounds (i'm just a shade under 6' tall, 221 lbs.). I show everyone respect, I'm always referred to as a 'great friend' or 'like a big brother', but no matter how much i try i cannot get past that image. i'm either not seen as a date-able person or everyone i try to get close to lies and leads me on instead of telling me the truth and letting me know why they're not interested or what i was doing wrong. Am i doomed to be forever in the hell that we guys call the "Friend-zone"?

My Boyfriends Birthday is comming up really soon and I can't think of anything to get him (hes my 1st b/f so I've never got a guy anything) I can't even think of anything at all please help.

i always bake them something that they like. this year i made a really cute coupon book, like saying one free kiss, etc. then a specialy picture of you two in a frame. or a cd, you made. a note of your feelings about him. a collage of magazine stuff that states how you feel about him. get creative! you could even get him a stuffed animal, they will love anything that comes from you! good luck!

I am 14/f and the first time I got my period was in February of this year. I am a 32 A. My mom is a 38 C. However, I am short for my age (which I got from my aunts) Since I got my height from my aunts (who are A cups as well) will I probably have the same size breast as them or my mom?

If I wore a reg. size tampon and put it in at 12 and then woke up around 8 maybe nine will I be at a health risk?

well like others say, 8 hours is the max. but i leave my tampon in at night too, cause i hate wearing pads and ive never had a problem with it. so, its your decision, if you want to take a risk or not. good luck

So, a couple times a day, maybe like 5 or 6, I get this thing where it feels like to get a good breath I have to breath really deeply in and out for like 5-10 minutes. It also always feel slike my airway is a little constricted but more so during these "breathing episodes". I went to the doctor yesterday but he said everything was fine but yesterday I didn't have to breath deeply for 5-10 minutes to get a good breath, it was just to feeling of constant constriction. Anyways, the doctor sent me to radiology of the hospital to get x-rays which turned out fine. It's especially hard to sleep at night as well. During these "breathing episodes" I also get really light headed and dizzy. Does anybody have any ideas of what i might have or how to help it or what to do next? Btw, Im 14/f.

i get the same way you do. but my doctor cant find out whats wrong with me either. Just take a break when you feel this way, until your able to breathe again. thats about all i can say. good luck

My friend is going to kill herself next Friday.

She seems happy about it.

I've tried to change her mind, but that didn't work.

She doesn't eat, she's an insomniac, and she is very stressed.

She's been to shrinks but she says that they were a waste of her time.

She hates her parents because she can never talk to them, I guess.

I don't know what to do.

Sometimes I get really lonely for no reason. I'm always around family and friends but I feel really lonely. I just feel down and depressed. I don't know why I feel so lonely and abandoned. Does anyone know what's wrong with me?

i feel you, i really do. im gunna be 16 years old and i feel pretty lonely myself. i think thats just our age group personally. but if its really bugging you and you dont feel comfortable talking to me, talk to your friends or family. thats the best thing to do and then go from there. maybe you need anti-depressants? it could be anything. but good luck and i hope i helped. :-)

My parents and I really don't get along because my dad sets double standards between my sister and I.
Well he makes himself impossible to live with. He always says stuff like "I'll smack you in the face if you dont do this.." and the sad part is I'm 18 years old. Yeah I should just move out, but I don't have the financial means to.
It's driving me crazy. I can't seem to do anything right, and he always is quick to point out things I do poorly in rather then see the things I sucueed in.
What should I do?

well.. the best advice is hang in there. do your best to try to make the money to move out, maybe with a friend or relative if you cant take it anymore. look at all options available. good luck and i hope i helped. :-)

I am divorced, my 15 y.o. son (whose mother has custody) has decided that he doesn't want to spend this Saturday with me. In the past, he has always spent the entire Father's Day weekend with me. In addition, about a week ago, I informed my son that his Uncle (who my son really gets along with - and lives out-of-State) will be having breakfast with us on Saturday. Now, my son says that he wants to celebrate Saturday with his step-father. However, he has never celebrated mother's day with his step-mom. I am enraged and don't know what to do.

well first off, i understand your frustration. though, explain to him how much it would mean to you if he could spend just a small fraction of the weekend with you. i mean it wouldnt hurt to try and talk him into it, just dont get angry with him, cause that will only hurt your relationship. now im not an expert, but i always believed that talking things out and reasoning solved problems. good luck. i hope i helped :-)

what are some good products for getting rid of acne quickly can be wash cream toner ive got a trip in a few days and want to get rid of these pimples on my forehead before i go

toothpaste works pretty good, overnight. but if its a lot of acne. a good facial wash, like Noxzema. good luck, hope i helped.
