okay, there is this chick that lives with us, rhee, she's basically a sister to me now and she is a serious worrier. she freaks out about everything!she has had a bad life.. her mum died, her dad kicked her out, so she hasn't learnt much of anything. she went to a mates place and slept in his bed... alone... and worried she coulda gotten pregnant!!! how can i let her know about the birds and the bees without embarrasing her??? she is 18 i am 17. my mum gave me the talk but hers didnt coz she died. any advice on what to do would be appreciated. thankyou in advance!!!

Well, no matter how you word it, chances are she's going to be a tad bit embarassed. Talk to your mom about it, and see if she'd give your "sister" the talk.

my ex and his gf just broke up he is heart broken and i love the kid to death so feel horrible i have always just wanted to just randomly walk up to him at school and kiss him or tell him i love him but he had a gf so i respected that. they arent dating anymore so what should i do. (link)

First of all, you need to give him time. Maybe after he's cheered up a bit, you can talk to him about getting back together. He's probably not going to want to rush into anything too fast, if he's heartbroken like you say he is! Good luck!!

I'm afraid to have feelings for people and I dont know why. If I find a guy I like...and then he starts liking me, I start backing out, and its always like this. There was ONE guy that I liked a lot and he liked me a lot but then we only became friends and we were really close, you could say he hurt me because now we hate each other and hes the closest ive gotten to anybody at all...so could anyone help me with my problem? Your just scared of getting hurt. One of my friends is dealing with the same situation. Don't be afraid. I mean, its okay to be afraid... but don't let that hold you back. Take a chance. If you want to change this no one can help you, only yourself. If you see a guy you like ask him out, and if he says yes, no matter what, don't back down. Thats the only way your going to get back on your feet with the whole dating game. Yes, your going to get hurt again, but thats what life's about, thats what loves about. Living and learning, making mistakes, getting your heart broken. It's all worth it in the end. Trust me.

There is this guy i met, when i first met him i liked him so much and then he started liking me too and i was really happy...honest to god, he is EVERYTHING i have ever asked god for..hes PERFECT , hes more than perfect, I just cant explain it....and well now...he just doesnt mean anything to me, its been about 2 weeks and he just doesnt mean anything to me more than a friend. hes only my friend, he likes me SO MUCH that hes changeing his entire schedual just to hang out with me and stuff and its awesome, only i dont like him and hes PERFECT...i dont know what wrong with me!!!!! and just tonight he asked if i keep a guard up so i dont get hurt...and i told him i do, becaue i DO and he told me that he doesnt have one, since he met me it just went down, and he has so many feelings for me its scaring him, and so yeah...i told him that he should not think of me so much maybe itll build his guard back up and he agreed and he said hes not gonna call me anymore and hes not gonna think of me as much, but then he said hes not dating anyone...just because i mean so much to him...and what id ont get is that he doesnt mean anything to me anymore than just a friend....and im REALLY upset about this...i was crying just a few minutes ago and i dont understand why it bothers me so much?! help!! :( (link)

Well, things like that happen. If you really care about this guy, you need to tell him flat out that you only see him as a friend. It seems to me like your just beating around the bush. If he's looking for a more serious relationship than you are, he's going to end up getting hurt worse than he will if you tell him the truth. Truth being: you only like him as a friend. Tell him how you feel about the whole thing. Yeah, its probably going to hurt him, but this way he won't get more attached than he is now, and he'll learn to let you go and move on. No more pain for anyone. Ya'll can still remain friends. It'd just take time...

me and my friend have decided to get eachother presents. well, we are like best friends so i got her something special that took me a long time and trouble. it coct about $30 but she is my best friends, so she deserved it. today she said she would tell me what she got me if i told her wat i got. it turns out she got me a $3 key chain!!!!!! i smiled and said "thanks, can't wait to see it!" but inside i was screaming. she already knows what i am getting her so i can't return it and she said she was so excited it was a great gift. im mad, is that wrong? what should i do? i dpn't wanna hurt her feelings but c'mon! please help, i rate high. My dad smokes. I try to make him stop by saying "please stop smoking dad" or "you should quit" or cough really loud when he lights up a cigarette. DAMN IT, I FUCKING HATE THE SMELL! He smokes when hes in the bathroom, i just hate it. When i cough and stuff around him he'll be like OH SHUT UP, YOU SHOULD BE USED TO IT ALREADY or YOUR OVERREACTING. and id be like, havent you ever heard of second hand smoke dad?? he doesn't care.. i mean hes a good dad but he needs to stop. i dont think he'd do that nicotene patch or gum thing. When i tell my mom about it, she'd be like, get used to it, or she'd do nothing about it. What should i do? (link)

Tell him the dangers of second hand smoke. You have a greater risk of getting cancer than he does.

Smokers tend to always want to have something in their hands or in their mouth... such as cigarettes.
One of my friends suggested straws. Like straws you mix your coffee with at stores.... Just chew on them. That helps a lot...
He said that he didn't just stop smoking all together. He used the straws, and he only smoked after each meal.
What a suggestion!

First off, you should feel like shit for doing that to your boyfriend. If your boyfriends brother is interested in your cousin... youre OBVIOUSLY NOT YOUR COUSIN. Say things do work out between you and your bf's bro... everything would go downhill pretty fast if your pretending to be someone else. Thats really immature.
And if your cousin likes him as well, that'd be screwing her over big time.
Think about the people around you, and how you could hurt them by pretending to be your cousin and making out with your BOYFRIENDS brother....

I have a twin brother and we are really close he's not spent much time with me lately and im scared i love him to death and if anything happend to him i would never forgive my self even if it wasnt my fault. If your concerned, talk to him. His friends could get him into serious trouble, as you very well know already. If your brothers friends just cuss... then I would leave it alone. He's growing up, and he couldn't be sheltered from those types of things forever. But you should still talk to him about it anyways. Tell him how you feel.
If his friends are into vandilism, drugs, and such... deffinately TALK TO HIM. Also, you might want to mention something to your parents. I'm sure they're just as concerned as you are, and they probably have no clue whats going on behind their backs.

My friend cuts herself. And it really scares me she talks about killing herself sometimes. Like she thinks no one would miss her. Sometimes I wanna kill myself too but I realize how many people would miss me. But she doesn't seem to realize that. She doesn't cut herself often like she only did once but I am just scared it might become a habit. What should I do? And its not that serious enough to tell anybody yet and she would get really mad if I told anyone. I don't plan on doing anything until it gets worse like i see marks on her arms. No. YOu shouldn't wait until things get worse. Thats like sitting around and letting an accident happen. If you really care for your friend you need to go straight to her parents. She needs mental help, or some kind of medication. Stop her, before she goes too far with it, and actually does kill herself. I'm sure she has no intentioins of doing so, but you never know... accidents happen. Tell her parents, or an adult so they can get her some help. It doesn't matter whether or not your friend gets mad at you. It's either her getting mad at you (which I would risk if I were you) or you ending up at her funeral.

You best call the mother fucking cops. If she's your friend, you shouldn't have no doubt in your mind of what to do. Call the police. Tell them what he does to her. Thats not right. He needs to be put in jail. Also, file a restraining order... so if he comes near her he will be arrested again. Thats really serious. Go to the police as soon as possible.

The same situation happened with me just recently. The best thing to do is just talk to him about it. Ask him why he's been neglecting you. Tell him how much you love him, and that you want to try and make things the way they were. That should help clear a bunch of things up. If your confused or troubled you need to talk to him. Otherwise it's going to drive you insane, and your going to loose sleep over it. Good luck!

He's a guy. He has a penis. Chances are... his hormones are raging. So, yeah he would have a tendency of flirting with a whole bunch of people. If you really like him, then the best thing to do would be to leave him alone. Situations like that could really end up hurting you.
