hey so im 16 , straight, and i still wear whitie tighties. i get made fun of for them alot (depantsing, wedgies). im not very tall and im a little overweight. theyre tommy hilfigure and ive worn that kind since i was little. ive tried wearing boxers but they arent comfortable for me. should i wear boxers even tho they arent comfortable or should i stay with my briefs which are comfortable? i only have one pair. what age should guys start wearing boxers. most of the people in my school started in middle school i think. thanks (link)

Thats a good idea about wearing the boxers over the briefs.
There was this kid in my school who wore briefs and he always just said in a joking tone "Well, when you're old and your balls are hanging to the ground and mine are not, you will know why I wear briefs." I don't think that philosophy is true but it got people to laugh and just kind of let it blow over.
I would stick with whatever you're comfortable in. High school is rough. People are jerks. It is nothing like the real world. It's sadly just something you have to get through. Good luck!

I would say it is possible. I don't know for a fact, but I don't see why not. It's all about knowing the right people and having the right trainer, so get out there and start asking around! Good luck, that's awesome!

Hello, i'm 14/f and when I shower I lose pretty much a lot of hair. I shower every day and wash my hair. So, my question is, is it normal to be losing a lot of hair? I feel like i'm gonna be bald at some point in my life :P. Not to mention that I have more hair on my left side than I do on my right because my ear sometimes shows, haha. So yeah, is it just me and I will have less hair or is it normal? (link)

I lose a TON of hair in the shower, like half way through I have to remove the hair from the drain so it keeps draining. On the same note though, I have very thick hair so I lose more than the average person. I would say that if you are noticing your hair actually visibly getting thinner (regardless of the amount of hair you are losing) then I would go talk to your doctor. If the thickness is staying the same though, you're fine, like I said, I lose a TON of hair in the shower.

I had braces on for about 1 1/2 years. So, now that they're off for about 8 months, I want whiter teeth. I've tried so many different tooth pastes that say they will whiten your teeth in like 2 weeks...of course, didn't happen. I'm almost 15 and I would really like white teeth like some other teens have. I've never smoked but someone in my family does but not in the house. I know that there has to be somehow to make them look nicer. Please give me some tips to whiter teeth that you know really does work or a really good tooth brush or tooth paste! My family has been planning this trip to the water park for weeks now and I can't just back out of it right before we go. I thought that maybe I could wear a pad in the pool and everything would be alright. I'm almost 15 and I thought I could maybe meet some boys at the water park this summer so I really want to go and have fun.
Then, I got to thinking, won't the sticky stuff on the bottom of it come loose in the pool water? The adhesive part. I really don't have any experience with this and I really do want to go swimming tomorrow and hang out with some people.
Does anybody know if a pad will come off in the water and float around. That would be embarrassing...

Please don't wear a pad at a water park... the blood rinse out int the water and everyone else will be swimming in it...
Tampons are not bad as long as you change them every 4 hours. I understand some people don't want to wear them, but a pad definitely wont work, plus you'd be worrying about it the whole time. Why don't you just use tampons for that day?

Guys just would want to know the truth. You definitely need to tell the guy you are a virgin. It could be painful or there could be bleeding so you both would need to be prepared for that. It wouldn't be fair to the guy to have a surprise like that.
As far as the other questions go, it totally would depend on each guy and each situation. Honestly though, guys don't care that much and are just happy to be getting laid lol.

So my boyfriend and I go to the same college, and now its summer and we are now in two different states.
Our only interaction is texting, and although he is an excellent conversationalist when in person or even on the phone, he's an awful texter/chatter/letter writer, etc.
By awful I mean no more than a couple words response, rarely asks me questions unless I'm on his case about what a bad texter he is. I always feel like I'm interviewing him, and he gets annoyed with it. And plus we don't even learn anything new about each other, its just what we did that day and that's pretty much it (I've tried taking it on to a deeper lever numerous times, and he fights it). But he does text me first, but when he does there still is no real conversation.
I've made him get skype hoping it would help, but he's never on it. Talking on the phone is out of question because we're two busy people, and also because I can't stand talking on the phone.
What do I do? If you think he's cheating, I know he's not. He's not going through a rough time either, he's always been like that. I know for a fact he cares about me, when it comes to serious stuff he is willing to talk about it (but again, not as much as he would be in person).
I'm so frustrated. Its still two months that I will get to see him. A lot of times I end up in tears after talking to him because it feels like he doesn't care about me, I tell him something exciting that's happened, and I just get a "really" in response for example. I almost feel like it would be best to just stop texting all together until school starts again and when I'll see him pretty much everyday.
I don't know if its worth breaking up over, we're really compatible when in person, and we've been through a lot. Although I've told him that's its hard to keep a one-ended conversation going, he just says "am I really that bad?" and then he'll ask me a few questions, and then it stops just as soon as it began.
Please tell me what I should do, or if I'm just being dumb and overreacting (I mean he does always text me back afterall). The longer we do this, the more resentment there seems to be from both sides, and its ruining our relationship. I don't want to force him into talking to me. (link)

It seems like you are putting way too much pressure on a text. Why don't you set up "skype dates" like once or twice a week and cut back on the texting or just take the pressure of him to text back all the time? I text my boyfriend A LOT but I know I do. He doesn't always answer me unless I'm asking him a question, but I know he's getting them and reading them so it's good enough for me. Guys just are not as chatty as girls. Take a chill pill, it's just texting. I would find other things to do together for long distance relationships. Just google "long distance relationship ideas" and you get a ton of stuff.
My boyfriend is in the military and he's currently deployed so we're doing all kinds of this stuff. Just remember its temporary separation, not forever. Good luck.

So I have really weird looking nipples. And I want to feel close to my boyfriend, by not covering up my body when we have sex (leaving my bra on), but I always felt extremely self conscience about them, and I don't let anyone see them.

I was really self conscience of mine too. If you want you could definitely tell him that you're self conscience of them. I just kind of figured they are what they are and just went with it. If that is seriously the case, thats bizarre that she is mad at you. I've never heard of people not masturbating just because they are in a committed relationship. Sometimes people just are not in the mood for the whole sex thing but want to get off, or they are just in the mood to pleasure themselves. I'm 19 from Ohio so my drivers test my have been different from yours.
First I had to drive forward through and back up through a cone obstacle. They had a practice one set up at my city's high school on certain days of the week. Then I just drove around for 5-10 minutes with the lady. She told me where to go and we went to a 2 way stop, a 4 way stop and a traffic light. I had to turn right and left a few times at intersections and then went back to the DMV and had to park. Good luck!

It's definitely not weird that you want to wait. If that is what you want to do you should. I would talk to him though. You need to tell him what your plans are so you are both on the same page about sex and he doesn't assume or expect anything else. Let him know specifically what you will and will not do.
It's not a bad sign that he's already talking about sex. He just doesn't know what you are thinking.
A lot of guys your age are not necessarily in a relationship to eventually get married they want experiences (possibly sexual, and thats not necessarily bad) but there are some guys out there who are in it for a serious relationship. Talk to him and he will let you know what he's in it for and then you will know if you are on the same page.

I used to get HORRIBLE cramps, then I started birth control. It was the best thing I ever did. I also have found that as crazy as it sounds and as much as you are not going to want to do this at the time, exercise helped me a lot. Like when your cramps get bad do a bunch of jumping jacks or go for a quick jog or do a work out video or even yoga and stretches.
But really, if you can, go on birth control! Mine used to be so bad I would miss school and be doubled over in bed all day crying. I still get them but it is soooo much better.

I am going to the doctor for my first check up and I was reading online for what to expect during a papsmear. I saw a few of the questions they might ask you and one of them was about sexual activity.

Yes. I would just tell them that you have been sexually active but have not had actual intercourse yet. They might ask if you are planning on having intercourse soon and how many sexual partners you have had or currently have so they cant talk to you about birth control, STD safety, etc.

There is no answer really and it sucks. Life is what it is and you have to enjoy the things you have while you have them.
A friend of mine who is in the air force recently lost his 28 year old wife to a brain hemorrhage. They honestly had the best relationship I have ever seen first hand, like a fairy tale. It really affected me but I try to learn what I can out of all of life's experiences. This one definitely is being able to enjoy the things you have right now. Make changes to make your life better NOW. You have one life to live and you don't know how long it will be. Even though he died, just like my friend, she probably wouldn't take back the life she had with him just because this was going to happen. It was worth the pain she feels now. So make your life what you want it to be, do the things that make you happy and enjoy life. It's a ride of ups and downs you just have to roll with the punches and make the best out of it.
Try to help her through this time and give her as much support as possible, but when it comes down to it, she has to heal on her own. As far off as it may seem she will be happy again and you will too. Try to remember the good times you had with him and not the sadness his death brings. Keep his memory alive, not his death. Nothing happens, you'd just stay in your seat, but I think there is a higher chance (but still incredibly low) of crashing when you are taking off/landing so it is just a safety precaution.
