I have a boyfriend for about 3 months now. For the past 1 and 1/2 months I have realized I dont really like him anymore. Every time Im out I always check out and flirt with all the guys. The only reason I have been going out with him is because I have someone to go to the movies and someone who will spend their money on. Am I wrong? Should I break up with him and if so how would I do it?

Yes, you are wrong to lead him on. If you don't like him as more than a friend anymore, you should break up with him. You need to talk to him in person, preferably, tell him honestly how you feel. Tell him that you don't feel the same about him and that you think you should see other people. Just be honest, but don't lead him on, in the long run it will just be worse and more painful for both of you.

Only answer this if you play an insturment please. I play the violin and after school I always have alot of homework and I can never get practicing in and I'm afraid the teacher thinks horribly of me, but I try on weekends to get some practicing done! Does anyone know a good technique to use so I CAN get some practicing done? (link)

I play 3 different instruments so I know exactly what challenges there are in trying to manage time. What I try to do is when I get home, start on homework right away. Go to your room or a study area where there are no distractions. No TV, no computer. If it helps you study, put on some classical music but play it softly so it doesn't distract you too much. Then you just have to trudge throught the homework. Without distractions, my homework usually only takes me about 2 hours. With distractions, it takes so much longer. Even if your homework takes you 3 hours, you still have plenty of time to practice. When you are done with homework, practice. I always have TV shows that I want to watch, so I just record them with the VCR and watch them later. When you record them, you can also skip through all the commercials! Just remember to rid your space of all the distractions because they will make stuff take so much longer!

Hey. this is sorta long
I'm 5'4" and I weigh 105 pounds. I wear a size 1. I'm 15. Is this normal or am I over weight or under? I've done body calculations and it says 110ish is a good weight, so I am about right.
Also, I eat what my eyes like, even if I feel completely full. When I'm bored I eat, and I have really bad eating habits. I NEVER eat breakfast, have a personal size pizza for lunch and usually reeses peanut butter cups. I get really full ans sick from eating that afterwards, but then I get hungry an hour later. I STUFF myself for dinner, eating seconds and thirds and then picking at the food. I then eat whatever whenever after that, wheter it be 2 hours later or at 1 am! I feel SOOO fat afterwards, almost like i want to throw it up. I had abs over the beggining of the summer, and now my stomach sticks out JUST alittle bit, its not detectable enough too see though. I'm not fat at all, but i feel fat, and sometimes i think i might have a beginning of an eating disorder. I dont want to get fat EVER, and i want to eat healty, so if you know any heatlhy food sites or eating smart sites tell me! ADvice would be aprieciated! thanks (link)

You are not fat. From your description you sound rather thin. You sound like you are at a healthy weight. If you have further questions, ask your doctor the next time you go in for an appointment. I don't have any sites that I know of like that, but I can give you some advice based on personal experience. I know you have heard this so many times but you should eat breakfast. It gets your metabolism going right away and you aren't as hungry at lunch. The reason you get hungry an hour after you eat lunch is because you're eating empty carbs. They have all the fiber taken out so that it's really easy for your stomach to digest and it doesn't stay in your stomach for very long. Once in a while it's ok to eat pizza for lunch but you should incorporate some fruit or veggies that will help you stay full longer. 15 minutes before dinner, eat a salad or some carrot sticks or something. It will help you to be not so hungry at dinner. When you are done with your first helping, wait 5 minutes or so. It takes a while for your brain to register that your stomach is full. If you are still hungry after waiting, go ahead and eat a little bit more. You will probably be full at the end of a second helping. It sounds like you just need to discipline yourself. Try not to eat after dinner before you go to bed, unless it's a small snack. If you are hungry between meals, eat fruit, veggies, yogurt, or some toast. Don't go for the cookies and chocolate. If you are worried about a possible eating disorder, talk with a parent or teacher. If you can't bring yourself to talk to an adult, talk to a friend who can help you. Good luck. You can do it!

I think that Cecilia Nicolette, Cecilia Nicole. It depends on how she wants the name to sound, elegant, cute, sexy, etc. If you want elegant try looking up names of queens. Go through the family tree and see what names relatives have. Good luck, I'm sure anything she chooses will be perfect.

First of all, stop listening to them. If you hang out with any of them, stop immediately. You deserve to surroud yourself with people who make you feel fun, worthwhile, and of course, beautiful. If these people don't make you feel like this, then they don't deserve your company. Remember this-don't define yourself by a number. You can go buy 3 pairs of jeans and get 3 different sizes! You are not a number. You are not a size. You are you, and people who say things that deliberately say things to hurt you are scared. They are scared that if they don't join in and make fun of you, their "friends" will turn and make fun of them. Everyday look at yourself and tell yourself you are beautiful, try your hardest to ignore those negative comments, and remember, a size 3 is perfectly healthy, and beautiful!

I have dark arm hair and I am teased about it often so I started shaving it about a year ago. But it takes too long and I have to every day and stuff and sometimes it feels weird when people touch my arms. So is there anything I can use to bleach my arm hair blonde? if you know anything around the house I can use that would be even better. Thx so much! I'll rate ya. Answer asap plz! You can try to use hydrogen peroxide. Some people use it to bleach their hair so I don't see why it wouldn't work on arm hair.

I think she might be a little jealous. When she says that you are ditching her, tell her that you are not ditching her and you are not trying to replace her with your new friend. You care about her just as much as you used to, you just don't see her as much. You need friends in those classes without her. You should introduce your two friends and see if you all can be friends. Just assure her that you are just as good of friends as ever and you don't want to replace her and she will accept it in time.

Since you've never really met and never talked to him besides on the internet, how do you know who he says he is? He could be making this whole life up and lying to you every time you talk to him and you would never know. I suggest not meeting with him. Stay safe! You never know who you would be meeting with and it could have horrific consequences. It would be extremely difficult to meet even if he was who he said he was. I suggest telling him you would like to stay online friends but nothing more and focus your romantic efforts on someone you can see that is closer to home.

Before you introduce him, tell them that he is black. That way they won't be shocked when they first meet him. Tell them about his good qualities. Tell them if he's a good student, what sports he plays, what clubs he's in, etc. Tell them that you really like him and that you don't have a problem with him being black, and you hope that they don't either. Ask them if they have a problem with your relationship, and if they do, don't introduce them. Tell them that what really counts is that you care for each other, and it doesn't matter what you look like.

okay so recently ive been hanging out with some friends that i wouldnt normally hang out with them out of school or sports. They smoke pot and they talk about ti all the time. since ive been hanging out with them i have been wanting to smoke it but i know its not the right choice. What do you think i should do? (link)

Stop hanging out with those friends if you feel like trying it. You obviously are a smart person and know that it is the wrong decision. Hang out with your friends that don't smoke pot, and you will not feel like you should try it. If you don't have any friends that don't smoke pot, then make some by going to different schools clubs that have people that are into the same stuff as you are.

okay well i havnt gotten my period yet.. and i have like no shape to my body... barely any boobs like no ass... when i get my period will my body start growing faster n stuff.... cuz i really hate how i look... im 13 im tall ( 5'3) I have really long legs... im really skinny... and i can never find pants and like i hate school shopping bcuz i can never find good tight pants that are long enough like if they are tight enough they are to long... so im really self concious.... idk what to do (link)

Yes, when you hit puberty (signaled by the start of your period) your body will start to change into a more womanly form. Your hips will grow wider, you will start to grow breasts more, and you will probably gain a little weight. However, if you are skinny now, you will probably stay skinny throughout puberty. It is just the way your body was made. You are not too tall, 5'3" is not that tall. Don't worry about your body so much, try to love yourself for your good qualities. Don't focus on the negative aspects about yourself. You can probably take an educated guess about when you will get your period depending on when your mother (and if you have a sister) got hers.

It depends on the person, not the age, to decide how much you can trust them. I'm 14 and I babysit regularly. I consider myself very responsible. I have babysat kids anywhere from 1.5 years to 7 years old. If they have never taken care of babies just have them come over the day before and teach them how to change a diaper, heat up a bottle, etc. I'm sure that he/she would be happy to learn. If you feel like you cannot trust him/her then don't. It is your child. Go with your gut feeling.

Bathrooms are usually cooler because they usually have tile flooring as opposed to carpeting. Your dog is probably just hot. My dog does the same thing. It's not unusual.

I get really bad cramps and here's what I do:
-Take Midol (it also relieves other pms symtoms)
-Put a hot water bottle/heating pad on your stomach
-Take a hot bath
-Lay down and kind of stretch yourself out
-Go for a walk/run
All of those things help to relax the muscles that cramp up. Heat helps A LOT!

Walking doesn't burn quite as many calories/minute as running does, however walking can be just as effective as running. Walking is also low impact so it doesn't hurt your knees, ankles, etc. If you walk 20 minutes a day you will see results as long as you eat a healthy diet.

A while back, I used to use a lot of hairspray and gel on my hair and, when the stuff would drip onto my back, it would break out.
Since then, I've stopped using leave-in hair products altogether but my skin is still breaking out.
First of all, my back is awful. It's a lot clearer than it was a couple months ago but the acne never seems to completely go away.
The skin on my chest is also bad. I have little, red bumps all over and, although the pimples aren't that big, their very red. I can't wear any low-cut shirts because of this.
Also, I have a problem with the skin on my inner-thighs. It's not acne. In fact, I'm not entirely sure what it us. But I do know that I've have little, red bumps all over my thighs and they're EXTREMELY hard to get rid of.
Can anyone tell me how I can get rid of these pimples (and redness) on my back and chest fast?
And does anyone know what the bumps on my legs are and how to get rid of them?

You might want to try astringent. All you do is squirt a little bit on a cotton ball and wipe it over your back, chest, and legs. Witch Hazel is the kind that I used when I started breaking out on my back. It should start to clear up in 2-4 weeks if you do it regularly. After you shower just rub it on. Astringent helps to dry up the oil in the pimples.

Is there anything bad for you in Diet Sodas? I know they say regular sodas are bad for you because they have so much sugar, but since diet sodas have none, does that mean they're fine for you? Is it okay if you have one or more a day? Or is there other bad stuff for you in there? (link)

Though there is no sugar in it, it is sweetened with artificial sweetners, like Splenda. They have a lot of caffiene in them, unless you get the caffeine free version. A little caffeine is ok but too much can be bad for you. Also the carbonation in any pops wears away the enamel on your teeth so you should limit yourself to probably 1 pop a day.

Do your parents ever go down to Stanford? If they have a time that they usually go you could go with them and find a place to meet him. You could also check out the bus schedule around where you live. See if there is a city bus you could ride down to him or vice-versa. I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be together regardless or what kind of boy he is or girl you are. Keep talking on the phone. I'm sure some solution can be reached.

13/Female...I have jouvenile diabetes, which is sad because everyday, i have to prick my finger everyday BUT i'm used to it so it doesnt matter. anyway, i'm going to school next monday (i have never been to regular school, only homeschool) and im thinking that everyone will make fun of me because during class, i will have to go to the bathroom and prick my finger. im afraid everyone will make fun of me :( How do i explain to them that this is okay and im just a normal human being and im just like everyone else? It might help to make a presentation early in the year in your class on jouvenile diabetes. It will help everybody understand what it is and how you deal with it. It will also help them understand when you prick your finger what you are doing it for. Allow people to ask questions about it and be happy to answer them. If you are starting at middle school you could go to the bathroom to prick your finger during passing periods inbetween classes. The more people understand about something, the more comfortable they are with it.
