Ive relied on some of your columnists time and time before and im not afraid to admit it. I have been in the deep end in my early-mid teenaged dementia.
I am a very spiritual but very eclectic person, from Paganism to Buddhism to Gnostic Judaisim. I am experienced in the feild of the paranormal and i am a student in the field of the esoteric. I am a tarot and rune reader. You can ask for a reading by meeting me at my provided link

Ok so I have a fascination with mental conditions, etc, that severly interfere with living normally, more serious cases and rehabilitation. What degrees would i need if i was to get a job working most of the time with a person? Is there any way a degree in communications study would help? (link)
|
Mostly a psych degree would qualify for that. Psych translation is where a comm degree could fit in

My aunt is a medium. My grandmother thinks she's a little crazy and my mom just nods along and goes with whatever she she says but never really agrees, but both my mom and grandma believe in spirits. I never really believed in spirits, not in the transparent person following you around type of way but I know that when I'm in a room I can feel the energies? But only in small uncrowded spaces. Example, I've always felt this strange pressure in my parents bedroom and my front yard. My house used to belong to my grandparents, my grandfather commit suicide in the front lawn of what is now my house. I never knew this until a few years ago though and I've been feeling it for years. I also have intense deja vous. I've had dreams that I'm talking to people I didn't know, then I'll meet them years later. It happened with my current boyfriend, never told him though.
Question is if these types of psychic "powers" are genetic? (link)
|
Generally some gifts do go down in genetics, but not all of them do, we chose our gifts as a part of our lives when we planned things out. I know a mother and daughter who have completely different abilites. The mother is a healer and the faughter is a medium and a c reader. Although most people do move on, they may still be there but it could be the residual energy of the trauma of suicide. Do the same things happen over and over like a broken tape or does the haunting seem intellegent?
with the dreams, you may be connected to them on the other side or in a past life and they share this connection with you now.
Well technically there are spirits that sometimes follow you-guides.

i've heard it's normal to be obsessed with something as a teenager (14 girl).
i am sort of obsessed with ashley greene, not weirdly because im not a lesbian or anything lol. but i just think she is pretty and i absolutely love her acting! i look her up on the internet often and look at interviews, facts, questions etc. about her. i look up where she buys her clothes and even what she eats and stuff. then i want to buy that stuff. im not like gonna stalk her or anything phsycho like that but is this normal or am i weird?! (link)
|
Nope, its perfectly normal for a teenager, especially a younger teen to be obsessive over something. As long as it doesnt prevent you from living a healthy life its ok. I know many highsvhool sophmores and juniors who still idle anime characters or hannah montana. Heheh.

Is there a condition when you can't controll your emotions? Like maybe one time you feel happier than ever and then fell really pissed off and go running off and killing someone or something like that? (link)

Yes bi-polar could be it
as well as manic-depressive disorder.
Generally those are symptoms manic type disorders

I am looking for Godly advice please. My husband got violent today, threatening both me and my daughter, breaking things and hurting us... I went to the police, which I have never done with him, and now he is in jail. I dont know that he will even try to come back, it may be that he just lashes out, or never contacts me again. But what if he does, what do I do if he wants to get help and come home? How do I handle this? Im scared, and trying not to fall apart. I dont think that what he did is ok at all, but does anyone know if the Bible says anything about how to handle this? (link)
|
That is a very brave, and very smart move to call the cops. If calls to get back home, do not answer him from then on. Try writing letters at first to see if he will act. If it seems safe after a while gradually start on the phone, then letting him talk to his daughter. Be careful and do not rush into it. Prisons can build or break character, but for this you need to wait and actually see. This doesnt mean he wont get into fights in prison, but be patient to wait for the correct signs. My father is more mellowed out than he was when I was 8 and he was imprisoned, of course it can go the opposite way. If you are still afraid by the time he is about to be released, look for a few shelters that could be able to protect you two.
Now I meditated for this answer: Do not hold back on the legalities. Do not step back on them. Do not try to yell at him or anyone else. Find something to release stress in until the wound starts to heal. You and your daughter both need to move on and that can be aided by forgiveness for his imperfection and by spending time with your daughter.
People are imperfect, we are all made that way, thus we learn and become closer to the ultimate goal. We must go through these challenges to learn. Learning forgiveness, learning responsibility for your actions, learning karma, and the loving gods grace.

Okay i am a female of 17 years. for about a year now i have trouble sleeping, either i cant get to sleep or i wake up 2-3 times a night. The only time I sleep throught the night is when my boyfriend stays with me, but i wake up early. Its not very often that he does. Do i have insomnia or could this be something else (link)
|
Well it sounds like it is.
I would not suggest sleeping pills because they will make you groggy in the morning. They can be unhealthy as well.
Try reading before bed and popping the ipod (or radio/cd) in to softer music.
You can try teas, Valerian tea is the best for insomnia and for sleep. It has some extra benefits for women too (or so I have heard) Try Chamomile tea as well.
Another thing that helps is meditation, it does not have to be physical work, but listen to some audio guided meditations in bed a first for a couple months until it becomes easy, then try meditating on your own without guided audio
Take care

I dont want to go to school tomorrow just because, well I have my personal reasons. So, how do I make myself be sick like throw up - any ideas?
Thanks!

You really shouldn't miss so much school. I am sure there are only so many days to miss.
If its grades-ask the teacher if there is anything you can do to make it better, they don't judge.
If it is emotional, go see the school social worker, some friends, someone you can trust. School work can also come off as a distraction, just take a deep breath and focus on service.

I was just curious. If you walk in on your girlfriend using a vibrator or toy, does it make you jealous or do you find it to be a turn on? Because I would think most guys would think its not a bad thing and actually like it, but my boyfriend seemed almost jealous, like I was using the toy because he wasn't doing his job right. Which wasn't why! lol (link)
|
Most men do it, so yes some men would be turned on. But then again, its about his self esteem.
But he has to understand women and men both have urges but women in society day and age hold them back to not look cheap.

I'm 5'4" and my mom is 5'9"-5'10" and my dad is 5'7"-5'8". My sister is 1 year older than me and shes 6'0"! Wtf, why am I so short!! Im hoping this 1/2 inch will mean I'll grow a lot. Lol what does it typcially mean when your feet grow 1/2 an inch? I heard your feet grow before your body grows, so its a sign. My foot size is now 10 1/2 so I have to get 11. My sisters feet are size 13. What am I doing wrong? Like should I sleep more? Exercise more? I dont exercise much.. does that have to do with it? Im 165 pounds.. a little overweight according to the BMI calculator. does that come to play? Wahh..help. Im 16.. im not too late to grow right? Last time I really grew was from 4'8" to 5'3" around the time I was 10. I would love to grow to be 5'8"... 4 inches to go.. I'll even be happy with 5'7".. anything less is unbearable for me. Especially since Im a volleyball player. Im OH, and Im not getting far if I'm the shortest hitter.. I wonder who the coaches esp for college teams, would be looking for. I wonder who would have an easier time jumping high and everything.. the taller peeps. I want to lose weight anyways. And people are like "when your shorter theres more guys to choose from!" uMMMM no! cause i dont wanna be with a short guy! I wanna be tall so I can be with a taller guy and have tall kids and etc. help!! what type of vitamins help you in general for teens and help you to grow taller too? and are like.. okay and wont give me cancer. k thanks! (link)

You will want to intake more protien and calcium.
Eat a bit more and go on a work out plan.
This is all I can say.
However most men prefer their women shorter than them.

my boyfriend wants me to show him how much i love him...well i really dont know how to do show him that i love him...i mean yes i love him but how can i show it next time i come up his house? (link)
|
~Watching whatever he wants or what you both want, sitting on the couch, playing with his hair.
~Smiling sincerely
~Making him a simple meal...dont just order pizza, but prepair a meal and it doesnt have to be fancy.
~Letting him know you trust him completely, being a bit revealing of intimate facts...trust is love.
~Kissing (unless either of you consider it sexual, then that is completely optional)
~Writing poetry/music for him.
~dont be afraid to be embracive, i don't mean sexually, but playfully.
~Dress up nice but not too dressy.
Sexual action is NOT needed necessarily.
-A guy :]

19/f has anyone been in a situation where they like someone & that person likes them back but you can't be together because of certain circumstances? :) (link)
|
yeah...
Tough situation it is.
If this is socially concerning its up to you two to be together or to stick to the rules..your choice...same with parents.
Otherwise, im sure there are ways to work around...if you two are commited enough

Do you guys think that it's worth it to spend $110 on a watch that you're in love with and will most likely wear every day? I will be spending my own money on this.
Thanks :) (link)
|
Edit: sorry I am a speed reader.
Anyways, 1100 is still a bit much, however it is ok to spoil yourself sometimes. As long as it doesnt happen too often. Though I would do some more window shopping around before you make the decision

I completely take responsibility, as it’s my own fault, no one else’s.
I am with a guy, but he treats me crap.
I mean really, like total crap.
I’ve finally found the courage to break up with him, until I remembered that, earlier in the relationship, I let him take some….embarrassing photos of me.
I’m now kicking myself for being so naive in trusting him, and I can’t break up with him, in case he holds these photos against me.
I know this was stupid, so spare the lecture, I’ve certainly learned my lesson.
What do I do? (link)
|
You could try to get to where he hides these photos and take them when he doesnt notice.
Or act as to him so he loses interest

Is 13 two young to date?

Music is my passion. I love it more than anything. Unfortunately, I'm not the greatest singer. I play gutiar, but I'm not really anything special. I've always had my dream of being a guitarist in a band, but I don't really see that working out.
What are some possible jobs that I could have that would involve my love for music, bands, touring, and such? I love discovering new music. I've thought about being a band manager, but I'm just wondering what other opportunities are out there. (link)
|
you could get into technology for the band. Setting up, recording, CD burning.
Designing CD covers and art
Operate a business or joint of where bands can play
Drums, Piano, bass

I'm 13 and i cut myself, drink, suffer from depression, and have suicidal thoughts. i need help but i don't want to speak to anyone because no one knows. and i want to stop without some one even knowing i had this. how do i do this?? (link)

You need to build friendship with some people...you don't necessarily tell them quite yet, but in a team or activity can boost confidence. For someone who is 13 it might be hard, but middle-school is socially harder than high school. I used to be shy until I had started debate/forensics...which you need to learn to conquer your fears. Let me try and put this into logic...if you feel you have hit rock bottom...you have nothing more to lose right? So why not...
Another thing is you can start writing start painting or drawing abstractly...what are zones, the chasms, the terrain of your mind.
One thing that helps is if you pretend to talk to someone...think loud in your head or even speak it when your alone...let it out and know your loved even if you prefer to suffer in silence.
Eventually you will need to talk to others...but you will not be all that afraid.

I've heard that universities favour higher marks in the academic classes for science rather than an average mark in the advanced classes, is this mostly true? And does anyone know why? (link)
|
Someone who excels in a normal class tries hard to do it, someone in an advanced class with low grades is either not looking for the help they need or not caring.
