today at lunch i was sitting with all of these people and i was talking to this guy who i had just realized that I liked (the night before i thought about him a lot) and the guy sitting next to him says "Heyy, you guys should date! She's interested in you!" and i was so excited that he said that, and then the guy i like said "yeah, we're gonna date. AND we're gonna... (i couldn't tell what he said after that- it was probably something sexual though)"

and so when he said that he didn't quite sound like he was kidding- but not entirely serious either. I catch him looking at me sometimes, and when we made eye contact when we were talking today he started blushing and our whole conversation was pretty flirtatious i guess...


So I really want to date him- what can i do to make him want to ask me out? like what hints should i drop? he's kind of shy... should i ask him to go to a movie or something?

Q: My period is a bit late & I'm not sure why. I've never skipped a period before. I am still a virgin, so I never had sex. I may be a bit underweight but I'm not sure. I'm approximately 5'7-5'9 & weigh around 120 lbs. Could being underweight cause you to have a late period or even skip it?? Also, I eat around 1000 calories a day. Could this be another reason?? I heard stress can be a factor also. If I do not get my period by Sept, should I do anything about it?? Thanks!!

Q: School's coming up within the next week and I do not want to see anyone. I feel like I've gotten more bitter over the summer...like all the joy and excitement of seeing my old friends have flushed away. All summer long, those myspace comments, "We miss you so much Claire!"..., "We have to hang out!" What about those yearbook signings? "Claire, we are SOOO hanging out this summer!" Guess what. Not one phone call. Nothing. NO INVITES. I feel betrayed and so out of the circle. I see pictures of them hanging out and laughing on myspace/facebook. It's like they're rubbing it in that I'm not with them or something. Is it wrong of me to feel bitter towards each and every one of them? I didn't see any of my "friends" this summer...Oh except, I did run into two of them at the grocery store once. I've been lonely all summer..and when school starts again, I'm going to see them, and my hurt will show. How can I react to them when I see them. All those fake "Awww, Claire, we missed you SO much!!" Well, if you missed me that much, why didn't you ever ask me to hang out with everyone throughout the summer? Any words of advice?

Q: it reallt takes me down the toilet when people tell me im not cool or im ugly or sucpicous odor arrises from me. i wanna show them that i am cool and cute and whatever. what can i do or say to them that will make them be like wow that girl is sweeeettttt.

Q: okay so the other night, i met up with my new boyfriend at this elementary school thats close to our house to just hang out. my younger sis came, and two of his friends and mine that i knew from 7th grade ( we're all in 11th now) were there too. now its been since june that ive seen him because he was in nc with his sister, staying with his dad for a large portion of the summer since his parents are divorced.
so my sis and i were there and my boyfriend is in the middle of giving me a hug when we see my dads car pull up. he gets out and its soo obvious he was mad.
so my sister and i get home, and my dad lectures me telling me that i should call and tell him who i hang out with. and he was also bugged about how my boyfriend "had his paws on me"
My mom gets home from work that night and the first thing she did was come in my room and ask for my cell phone. i give it to her because i knew she would look at it to see if there were any from him.
later that night, she was saying how she doesnt want me hanging out with scum like him. she assumes that since his friend isnt big into education like we are that my boyfriend is the same.
she is finding every possible reason for herself to not like him. since im going into a better private school that costs well over 10 grand, she believes he's going to "distract" me from getting good grades.
yesterday she was mentioning how i should date people who have money and are close with their family. this really made me angry because back when my mom and dad were dating, my dad couldnt afford much and he was not close with his family.
shes basicaly told me she doesnt want me to see him. my boyfriend and i have known each other since 7th grade but we've been talking for about a year and before he left for NC we were quite close and we have strong feelings for each other. we've both decided to fight through all this.
I justt need help with how i can convince my mom to allow me to hang out with him?
has this happened to you before? what did you do?

Q: okay, so theres this boy. and hes 5/4 years older then me. and everyone hated him, so i eased off with talking to him. and he was so sweet to me, and my bestfriend told me she wouldnt be my friend if i dated him. and all this stuff, so i stopped acting like a girlfriend type. and he was so heartbroken.

and now he has a new girl, and all i want is for that to be me. and please, tell me how to show him i do care about him.

Q: I'm so sad to say that my boyfriend of six months and I are probably coming to an end. We fight so often now and things are just getting tough with us. But I have a big problem, he's a huge part of my life. He spends almost everyday with me, my mom is the one who takes him shopping when he needs new clothes, we even buy foods that only he likes to keep in our pantry for him. We're so close, I could never imagine having another relationship with a guy like the relationship him and I have.

I don't know how I could ever let go when the time comes. How should I deal with it?

Q: So I currently have a boyfriend, Whom I've been with since April 9th..which that would add up to over 3 months.He's 18 turns 19 in August. and I'm 16 , I turn 17 in October.I love him to death, but I have kind of a problem.I think I still have feelings for my ex.I know it's bad and I never wanted it to happen.We dated for about 3 months about 8 months ago.It was a real rough relationship.He put me through a whole lot and dumped me for his ex.Who he dated for 3 years and something months.They are not dating anymore, which is recent when they broke up.He's a wreck and as desperate as it gets.He goes to me of all people when they break up.He came here, as I thought to get his chain back, But really he came to talk to someone.He was having issues with his ex.I tried to help, even if he hurt me the most. I know that might be stupid on my part to even have anything to do with him, But I do still love and care about him.I don't want him to do anything too stupid.Anyways, my current boyfriend knows he came to talk and everything and I'm not sure if he knows I have feelings for him,But my ex is starting to try and manipulate me and tell me he still loves me and wants to be with me,But I'm with my boyfriend.I won't let him take my boyfriend away from me.I really think my boyfriend is the best one I ever had.And I don't want to lose him.I don't know what to do.As hard as I try, I can't quite get over my ex. Is there any way of overcoming this issue?

Q: Well there's this guy who I met in the beginning of the year. Okay, well I met this guy in one of my classes. We were in the same group [we had to sit in groups of four] and we always talked. He would give me hugs in the hallways, he would wave to me, and he would be..well..you know, a friend. I developed a little crush on him. On Halloween, my friend and I went to his house and had a good times. But, he was really quite. He was usually loud and talkative. After the semester ended the teacher moved us seats. So now, I didn't sit next to him. We would see each other in the hallways and he would just wave and I would wave back. Two weeks after we moved seats he stopped talking to me. He would always stare at me when I walked passed him. Well, two of his best friends were in my first period. And they would always talk about him. As I kept hearing stuff about him, I stopped liking him. And every morning they would say weird stuff about him. And by then I wished I have never met him. But then towards the end of the school year I realized that he starting looking dirtier, like he hasn't taken a shower in days. He has changed a lot. I overheard his friends talking about him and all his friends doing drugs. And as soon as I heard that, I just really didn't want anything to do with him. Not only because he does drugs, but he also told me and my friend that he would never do that and he would never hang out with people who did that. So, he lied to us. I was so mad, I really didn't care what happens to him. I didn't want to hear from him at all. Well, my friend still talks to him. And I can't help it..I still like him. And I want him to stop doing we he does. But I don't know how to tell him. I haven't talked to him since the second quarter. And if I do talk to him about it, he might think that it is none of my business and he would start asking me where I heard all this stuff. I really do want him to stop. Not because I have a little crush on him. But, deep deep inside I care about him and I do want him to be healthy. What should I do? I am so confused. Arg. Help me.

Q: ok i have a friend i have always called my best freind.. but the thing is she is really loud and she CAN NEVER keep a secret but she says its niot her fault it is really how it is.. like one time she told my girl scout leader i was smokin weed.. who9 does that? but anyway we really are loosing contact like everytime we talk we argue ever since i cheated on my girlfriend with her.. only once and i never told no one.. i just dont know what to do .. should i let the freindship go.. or what?

Q: Ok, So I became friends with this girl "Sara" recently, and I'd say we're pretty much best friends now. I've really, really liked this guy "Joe" for over two years. Anyways, Sara always hangs out with him. She'll call him and ask for rides to parties (which, I'm not really a Partier). And in gym class[I'm in the 11th grade btw, and he just graduated] she would always do stuff to get him to react to her with some comment. I don't think he likes her though. Many others agree that she flirts with him..A LOT. We even went to the movies with Joe and his friend, hoping I'd get a chance to hang out with him [so she said], and she sat by him AND talked to him the whole time. She claims she doesn't like him and that she's "IN LOVE" with my long time[like whole life] friend "Chad" [he just "does stuff" with her/uses her], but sometimes I doubt her truth about Joe. She's VERY flirty and loves attention from boys (not to be mean, but it's true.)So can someone PLEASE give me there's opinion and advice!?. Sorry again it's so long.

Q: This may sound SOO televisioness but it's my life and its full of drama Im in florida right now with my family and my grandparents. I came to Florida to get away from all the drama where im from. Well on the way there I have Eric calling me saying he wants me to come back so i was like you have someone. You dont need me. He said he broke up with my best friend, D. Well i hung up on him and called her and she was crying saying its not far how i have 2 boys Josh and Eric that both like me and not one likes her. I said i had no idea he was dumping her and that i never liked Eric and never will. She accepted my apoligy and we came up with an idea to get him back. I apoligied for hanging up on him and he told me he was already in Florida! He told me his grandparents are friends with mine and that he's staying in there cabin thats across the street from mine gradparents. Well when I got there me and him are sharing a room, and im on a lap top right now. Our plan is that im saposed to pretend to like him and have him fall deeply in love with me and then when i get back from summer break kiss Josh (which he will definetly not mind :) and break hi heart like he broke D's. Well so far today rocked! it was the first day that me and eric have been away from my parents and grandparents and we got icecream and built a huge sand castle and i loved it... Eric still has no idea im using him right now but I wanna tell him without losing my friendship with my BFF its so confusing i know but I think i like him.. Ive been here a week with him and im already breaking my best friends heart if she found out that tonight, I wanna sneak out of his grandparents cabin ( that were in alone.) and go swimming with him at like 3 in the morning.. yeahh i already have it all planned :)
my question is how do i kep the guy and teh best friend because i dont want D mad and i couldnt live without Eric.
