ok im 13 8th grade 130lbs and feel weigh to over weight i want to look like a modle and im not doing this for the man of my dreams im doing this to look good. im pretty and got all the right looks but i feel to fat andi want to look good in a bikini aslo i want the man of my dreams to go woah!! when he sees me even thouhg he already thibnks that about me but he likes girlss like paris hilton and i kinda want her figure and everyones gonna say dont change you look for him im not im changing it so i feel good around him cuz right now i feel ot fat when im around even though everyone thinks im beautiful and skinny just help me do u think i could get liposection? or soemthing i have tried dieting but i just crave food to much but im trying to cut dwon on the fatining stuff im in a little bit of good shape i play soccer and lift sometimes but help me someone? YOU ARE NOT OVERWEIGHT.
Anyone who tells you that you are is lying. When you tell this to yourself, you are lying. You know that you are beautiful...so be happy with how you are!! Don't be tempted to compare yourself to unfair standards of super thin women like Paris Hilton. Do you know that in Renoir's time models under 150 pounds would be considered to ugly to paint? And that Marilyn Monroe wore a size 12 dress? Beauty standards change over the years. You shouldn't have to conform to them. Remember also that around your age, weight can go up and down as you're growing. I remeber when I was thirteen and I freaked out everytime I gained a pound. And believe me, all that stress is just not worth it. Focus your attention on improving the things about yourself that will matter in the long run, like your confidence, intellegence, and personality.

I know how you feel...sometimes it seems like when things are going the best in my life, I begin to feel the worst, the most empty. I can only tell you that the big void in your heart that you're feeling can only be filled by Jesus Christ. Trust me, I know! Everything else will leave me feeling empty, no matter how good it is. But Jesus gives me a peace of mind that I can't even understand. All you have to do is accept that Jesus died for your sins, ask him to forgive you for the wrong things you've done in your life, and commit to dedicate your life to him. He can fill the hole in your life completely. Try finding a church with a youth group to go to if you want to find out more about it. I admit that I may be wrong with some of my other advice, but I gurantee this one will work.

if the boy i like doesnt want to do anything when he is older for a job except sit on a computer and do his job there should i keep liking him or move on? i mean he is great around little kids and comes over everyday to see my baby sister and i think he will be a great dad and i want to be with him for eternity but i mean if he is going to be lazy and never do anything with me should i find a better man? iv liked him for 2 years and i think he likes me but im just worried he is going to sit and watch football allday... we are only 13 and 14 but im in love and dont know what to do please help me (link)

It is absolutely ridiculous to be thinking about being with someone for the rest of your life if you're 13 years old. Or if you're 18 years old, for that matter. You have your whole life to figure that out. Don't assume you're going to marry this guy...because the odds are that you won't. You're young, stop worrying about who's marriagable material, and just have fun for now.

Why can't he see all the signs I try to make whenever he looks at me I try to look back and make eye contact but he always turns away too quickly. . i really love him! I cantt ake my eyes off of him. . and soemtimes I think he gets annoyed because I stare at him so much. . If a guy likes you, there will be readable signs. They're simple creatures, these male types. If it seems like he doesn't like you that way...he probably doesn't. Don't try to over analyze every move he makes. Also...enlighten me here, how are you "in love" with some one you hardly talk to? That term is thrown around way too much these days. Everyone mistakes being in love with the IDEA of love for the real thing. But seriously, find a guy you have more in common with, who you are not so nervous around, someone who is worthy of you.

Listen to me sweetie: There is no such thing as having true love for two people at the same time. True love is once in a lifetime, meaning you would die for that person, that you don't know how to go on living another day without that person, someone who you would give all your airline peanuts to if your plane crashed in the Andes and there was nothing else to eat. Step back, calm down, and put these boys out of your mind. You'll be better off for it.

Unless the person has a history of trying to make people feel jealous or being very insecure, I doubt that they are going on and on about their significant other just to be spiteful. Don't you remember when you really liked someone? How you felt like telling anyone who would listen how gorgeous their eyes are, or a sweet thing they said to you, or how nice they smell? Ok well maybe that's just me, but trust me, the person most likely has no ulterior motives, it's just a part of this love business.

This sounds like a great guy who has been there for you. Now it's your turn to be there for him. You need to support him and give him good, friendly advice if he needs it. Secondly, you don't need a guy to tell you you're attractive to feel attractive. It's soo important to have self confidence without the validation of a guy--or anyone for that matter. Put aside insecurities, and be a friend to him.

Okay, so I've liked this guy for a while, but he wasn't really into having a girlfriend. It took me a while, I'm still hurting, but I've managed to step away for a bit and let him go. If it's meant to be it'll happen, he's a great guy, but it hurts too much to wait. Well, I started to meet new people, and one of them happens to be 20. He's really nice, but kind of strange. I'm not sure if he really likes me, or just wants to get in my pants. Also, he's really depressed and slightly suicidal. Then there's this other guy. He's 17 (i'm 16), and seems nice. I met him through my best friend (a guy), but from what I've heard he's a player and he's also got like, 3 other girls he's flirting with. My friend told me that he's not a cheater, and is looking for a girlfriend... but I dunno. It's just really frustrating! Where are all the really great guys? The ones who can commit? I'd really like to be w/ the first guy, but he may not wanna get together for a while... if ever. I'm just really pissed, where's my price charming? What should I do? I really need some help. Hmm. It's my policy that if you can't focus on one guy, you're probably not ready for a relationship right now. Like it or not, guys can complicate an already complicated life, and who needs that? Just forget about the guy troubles for a little while and just focus on being friends with everyone. Once you stop looking for Prince Charming, and admit that you're fine on you own, he just happens to come along out of no where. It sounds too good to be true, I know, but a guy that deserves you will be attracted to your self confidence in your boyfriendless state. Just remember, DON'T SETTLE FOR ANYTHING BUT THE BEST.

How does one keep their voice in good condition during the three-month span of everyday musical practice? {ie, practice for a musical}

If you're singing properly, you won't damage you're voice that way, even when doing rehearsal every day. Make sure to warm-up beforehand, and don't abuse your voice by yelling or screaming.

Neither. They are not musicians, they are well marketed products. Take my advice and listen to bands that don't have to take their clothes off to get people's attention, like Sleater Kinney or Something Corporate.
