When a friend wants you to be the baby's Godmother, It means that the Person wants you to babtize their child. A God mother/God Father, are the people that babtize your child. I Hope I Helped.

Q: Hey guys,

I know I might sound like a whiny bitch but here it goes. I've liked my best friend for a while now, and he just recently hooked up with a girl who I almost fought last year. When they starting going out I wasn't upset, but when I see them in the hallways kissing, it makes me fume! I get so angry! How can I stop this? And why am I feeling this way after I thought I was over him!?

Hey, I was in the Exact Same situation last year. I started to like one of my really close guy friends and then he started talking about how he likes this one girl. After a while, They started to go out, I was soo mad and I was Sad whenever I saw them kissing and being all lovey-dovey! I ended up telling him how I felt and he said he was Sorry and so he never talked to me about her and whenever she would want to come into class with him (our class) he would strongly suggest that she not. So What I think you should do, Is just tell him how you feel, He should be respectful enough to try not to mention her in front of you. After a while, you will end up moving past him and start not caring about the two of them being together. Don't worry, As time passes, You will get over him and even though you don't like her, She will become nothing to you. By the way, I was the same age when this happened to me! I Hope I Helped.

Q: okay all my friends always say knock on wood or i guess im going to have to knock on wood. and i never know quite what they mean. so could someone tell me what it means??

Ok, Let's say you don't like a girl and she falls on the ground and you start laughing histarically. Well, you would say knock on wood, then go knock on a tree/table/whatever is wood, and this is suppose to make it so that you won't end up falling because you were laughing at her. It's kind of like making sure you don't get any negative Karma back. I Hope I Helped.

Q: My last relationship didn't end well. My ex broke my heart and it was just horrible. Since then, I haven't had a boyfriend because I never let my feelings show and push any potential relationship away. I'm so scared of falling for someone and having them not catch me. A certain boy has come along and he's very interested in me. He says it's not fair I compare him to my ex and assume he's going to hurt me too. I can't help it though and I'm scared I'm going to push away this great guy, who I actually like. How do I let go of this fear and take a chance?

To get rid of this fear, you just have to give it a chance. There are many people that have gone through this situation and everyone gets their heart broken at some point, It could be by a guy or girl or simply by seeing a sad movie or failing a test. I don't think that you should let your experience with your Ex get to you, there are many great guys out there and if you never give any of them a chance, then how are you going to find your True Love? It's fine to be fearful of dating because of past experiences, but you should just try to think of the better things that could come out of a new relationship than simply thinking of all the negative things that may come. Tears and Wallowing are things that we as humans cannot really overcome. Did you ever realize that Happiness makes you Cry? Yeah, well Just take advantage of the things that come your way and try to have the best experiences possible, if negative situations come your way, just look past them and you will be fine. Q: Here's my problem. When I had Windows 98SE on my Pentium 1, my Windows Media Player played just fine, but now I've upgraded to a Pentium 3 (still using Windows98SE) and the songs skip quickly through the whole song. Is there an adjustment I have to make?And where?

If you are trying to play CD's from your drive, it might be the CD, but if they are songs that you have downloaded, then you should Follow my Directions: On your Media Player 9 there are different speeds that you can play your song with. Go into the "Play" Row and Go down to "Play Speed", Click on that and It will ask if you if you want to play it as "Slow, Normal, Or Fast". (Yours is probably on "Fast") Just click "Normal" and your problem should be fixed. I Hope I Helped.

Q: alright so here it is. I'm going out with this girl and i had my first kiss with her and like all the rest of my kisses and i like really really really like her right and we went to the movies for a christmas date and i realized that i thought i really loved her and now i cant sleep and all i can do is think of her. And i get this feeling that ive never felt. And i want to now if this is like real love because i can see myself getting married with her and everything.

Q: i'm a 19 year old guy. i figured i'd start with that as well most other people start their questions that way too. she's an 18 year old girl. nothing wrong there so far right? well she has a thing for a friend of mine. but my friend doesn't like her at all. problem is i've developed some feelings for her in this time. we've gone out on a couple of dates hung out nothing serious really. but last night she feels it necessary to tell me she likes him. i knew this, it didn't stop me, and i didn't care that she liked him cause i knew how he felt towards her. now this was in a message she left me and since then has said nothing to me. now here comes m question:

why would she say this to me in the first place? what could her motive have been? is it to tell me she doesn't like me and wants me to back off? (if so that's fine) or is it to tell me to leave her alone altogether? or is it some weird way of sayin g she's starting to like me? or is it just some random thing to say that is totally meaningless and going nowhere? she told me she knows he doesn't feel that way for her, and that she knows he's got his own girl issues now and yet she still likes him. i assume she wants me to ease up and let her be, but i don't know i can't read a girl's mind and if i could i doubt i'd want to (too much crap about makeup and gross things) but whatever the case what do you folks think is the meaning of all this?

Hey, Honestly, I am not sure what she is trying to say by this. All of your assumptions are good, but the only way that you can really know is by talking to her about it. Just explain to her how you feel and ask her if she feels anything for you. If she doesn't feel that way, its ok. Just tell her that you still want to be friends. After a while of being closer friends, maybe the two of you will develop something special? I hope I helped.

Q: ok. i was going out w/ this guy for about 2 months. we realy liked each other, and everything, but then i realized that i still liked this other guy, and id nevr gotten over. so i dumped him, cuz i thought it wouldnt b fair to go out w/ him wen i liked another guy. well, i immediately regretted it, and i still like him, but he wont talk to me and he says he really hates me. i apologized a million times and tried to talk him into going back out w/ me. he said he still liked me, but he cant trust me, bcuz i dumped him for another guy, and he doesn't want his heart broken again. so wat should i do? i rly rly like him, and i wanna go back out w/ him, but he just dosnt trust me.

I think that you should explain to him the reason that you broke up with him. In all reality, you broke up with him so that you wouldn't hurt him. Just tell him that it was because you didn't think that it was right to be going out with him when you had some interest in another guy. If he forgives you and wants to get with you that would be great, but if he ends up not wanting you just continue to be friends with him. If it ends up not working out just know that that means that there is someone else that is planned for you and that you should just look forward to that new Mr. Right. I Hope I Helped.

There isn't really any way that you can get someone to like you. Just continue to be friends, maybe even start hanging out more. After a while, he may notice new things in you that he likes and may start to have feelings for you. Just wait and if it is meant to happen, then it will happen. I Hope I Helped.

ok, here i go. i hear and read about "first base" , "second base" , and "third base" dealing with relationships a lot. i have never been quite sure what these terms mean. could someone clear this up for me?

There really is no one that truly knows the answer to this. Everyone has their own different bases. However, what most people know is that 1st base is kissing, second is touching, third base is oral or fingering and home is going all the way. I hope that clears things up for you! I hope I helped.

Q: ok well every January our home school group has a talent show. We have bout 130 people in the group and thier are alot of families that particapate in it. see, i dont really have a talent?!?!? i mean i play piano but so does everybody else! and my family AND my friends all same i am really funny so i thought, stand up comedy? no, what if nobody laughs?!?!? so...singing? If you know how to play the piano, why don't you take advantage of that. Sure alot of people play the piano, but if you are also a good singer then why don't you try to sing and play the piano. I know it might be challenging, but many other people know that it is, so just think of how people would feel if they saw someone doing both tasks? I hope I Helped.

Q: What is the best cell phone plan you can get.. I want to get pay as you go but where? Verizon, T-mobile..etc? thnxs

I have Pay as you Go Cingular. I recommend not getting it. It costs 25 cents for ever call and 25 cents more depending on how long the call is. Even if you call goes strait to a voicemail, it will cost 25 Cents. It may sound cheap, but I have been on the phone for a minute before and that costed me 75 cents. I don't know exactly what other phone plan is good, I just know that you shouldn't consider Cingular as a plan. I hope I helped.

Have you done anything different during this period? I know it may hurt, but the best thing to do is to stay active. Did you know that by running or doing some sort of physical activity will actually help your cramps and pains go away? Medicine might help, but my advice is just to stay active and go out like usual. Obviously there is a large age difference between the two of you. Why don't you try talking to her and explaining to her that you are flattered and interested, however with her dad being the principal and your guys' friendship being at stake, that you two should way until she is a little older. Maybe when she gets into High School you two can try something, but for now I suggest that you two just be friends. The only thing you can do is just wait it out. There is no way to make anyone like you more. However, there is a way that you can make someone evolve into liking you. See Me and Travis I am 20 he is 18, we grow up together. we are very close and were kinda were a reliship. most of the time, we never went same school. You and Travis are still good friends? Ok, I had a predicament like this before. My friend had gotten this new girlfriend, but I liked him. Well, I ended up telling him about my feelings so whenever I was around him, he wouldn't talk to me about the girl or when she would come into class with him, after she left he would say that he was sorry about me having to see what I saw. This is what you should do. Explain to him that you still have feelings for him, but want to be his friend still. He should be able to respect you and not mention anything about the girl around you. This is what I did and I ended up getting over him and now we are friends, so I think you should just try that. I hope I helped!

I don't think it's freaky. Now is this someone that you talk to or just someone that you like and don't really talk to all that much. I think that sure, it is not usually the first thing people do, however, you obviously like him alot since you want him to be happy with a present that you know he wants. I think that he will be happy upon recieving a gift from someone secret! It's always nice to know that there is someone in the world that truly cares for you! I hope I helped.

Q: Problem with answering "Why do you like me?";

I'm terrible with words. I must be terrible... I don't know how to put it into words that well.

I don't want to say something like

I like you because you're interesting... dot dot dot.

Then she'll be like only because of that? etc.

I really love my girlfriend but she keeps assuming that I'll go for another. She's like no other girl I've known, I highly doubt I would go for another.

Have any ideas that could help me think on how to word my response on that?

I think it wouldn't be a good idea to ask someone to type out.

And I know. If I was a good boyfriend I'd know how to answer this. I want my response to be perfect. Apparently I am not a good boyfriend or close to being perfect.

Just because you don't know how to answer this question doesn't mean that you are a bad boyfriend. One time my boyfriend asked why I liked him, I wasn't sure, but I simply said "I like you because you're you." He seemed to like it and I knew that I was telling the truth. By saying this I meant that he never needed to pretend he was anyone else in the world, and that being himself was all I ever wanted and recieved from him. There are certain questions that you cannot fully express to other people, the only one that truly knows it is yourself. If she asks why you like her again, just say the first thing that comes to your mind. If it is the truth and from the heart, then it WILL come out perfect. I hope I helped.
