Ok..I have to go get a root canal sometime this week I think..and I guess there going to give me laughing gas. or whatever its called..i havent had it before so can anyone tell me what its like..and if you can still feel anything they're doing? and if they've had laughin gas with a root canal..and if it hurt! it doesnt hurt, at least the laughing gas. it just totally numbs your mouth. its kind of hard to explain but like when you go to drink a glass of water, you cant tell if the glass is at your mouth cuz you cant feel it, so you spill. dont worry about it

I've always been super shy. I don't really talk to anyone ever. Usually when I'm around my boyfriend I really open up and talk to him. But lately I guess I've started getting kinda shy around him and I really don't know why. Is there anything I can do to help me get over this stupid shyness? (link)

i would say just get comfortable with him. like maybe if you kiss him, it will be more comfortable. i get shy a lot too, but its only when im around people i dont like or know really well. just have long conversations with him so next time you see him you will be used to it

The guy I'm dating is sooo much better than me in so many ways. He's in all the really smart classes at school, he's so sweet to his mom, he's really responsible... I feel like such a ditz around him, and I don't know if this bothers him or not. I mean, I guess it's like the whole Nick Lachey/Jessica Simpson thing, but I don't know if my guy will be able to tolerate it as well as Nick. I like this guy more than I can explain, and I REALLY want it to last and be a long-term kind of thing. So, I guess my question is: How can I find out if it bothers him or not? first of all, dont stop being a ditz. if your going out with him, that means he likes you, which means that for some reason, he likes you being a ditz. maybe with you he can stop acting like he normally does,like a goodygoody or w/e, and just have fun. i doubt it bothers him that your a ditz or else you wouldnt be going out.

i dont think it is too weird, but in experience, guys bite girls lips. i mean its totally not wrong for you to bite a guys lips, just thats not usually how it goes. to drive a guy absolutely wild, nibble his ears. kiss his neck and put your hands either on his chest, or down the back of his pants or shirt, or on the front of his hips. also run your hands through his hair.

ok so i dont know what to get my guy for valentines day but i am thinking that i should just like kiss him on the cheek (or lips) and say like "that's my valentines day gift to you" i mean we are only 13 so it would be big not like nothing. do you think that i should? (link)

im in the same situation. i think what i am going to do is tell him no gifts for valetines day, and just go to the movies and hang out. and i think kissing him would be a good idea. let him no you didnt forget about valentines day in a way that isnt all about gifts.

I hang out with a big group of friends who used to be really nice. My boyfriend and I split up and now our whole group of friends is kind of split down the middle. I don't talk to my ex and he doesn't talk to me and it's really uncomfortable. I still have friends there but I find being around my ex hard and most people there seem bitchy now. I would go and make new friends but there isn't really anyone else that I get along with or click with. What should I do? (link)

this happened to me too, except, i was part of the group that broke up instead of the couple that broke it up. but all i can tell you is you need to talk to him. not exactly "talk", but tell him in private that you like the people you hang out with and you dont want to lose friends. tell him to keep the group together, you and him need to stay friends. then have you and him tell your freinds that your going to a movie, and if anyone wants to come they can. that way your friends no things are back to normal.

well, if you guys are 20 and 22, your adults. you dont need your parents to tell you who to love, infact no one can tell you who to love. if your sure its love, then make it work. hang out with eachother, just not at eachothers houses. go on group dates instead of alone so it wont seem to your parents that your spending too much time with just him.

well, if you dump a guy cuz hes a dork, that might not be so good if your trying to get other guys to like you. i think that in a relationship, you need to have a base. like start as friends. get a guy your interested in and find out his screen name and start talking. then hang out with him and some other friends, and then when your ready make a move...if he doesnt like it, at least it will show other guys you are looking

talk to him. i know its hard, but if your going out, the feelings must be mutual right? so he has to have feelings for you. and since he is younger, he probably feels like you are the one controlling the relationship, where as you probably want him, the guy, to control it. not to a point where he becomes clingy, just the one who makes the moves. you need to tell him you really like him and he should feel comfortable around you.

personally, i want to wait until im at least 16. that way i am pretty much an adult, and i know if a guy really loves me or just wants sex. one of my friends, who is 13, has had sex a lot with like 17 and 18 year olds, and she pretty much has a reputation as a slut. so to answer your question, i would say 16 about.

There is this guy who i've known for about 2 years now. He's really nice. I talk to him every once in a while on the internet and last year we had assigned seats at lunch next to each other every day for 4 months. We, this year, are in 4 classes together. He is the kind of guy who likes to make people laugh, but he's not a class clown. He's always real nice to me and he and i talk sometimes.. and whenever he cracks a joke or something he looks directly at me to see if i'm smiling or not. I thought at the beginning of the year that he liked me and i liked him a little so i asked him to the dance and he never gave me an answer. Im not sure if he likes you but he definately wants to be friends with you, and probably something more. if he never gave you an answer, he might have been to shy to talk to you or something. just keep talking to him on the internet and maybe ask him to the movies with a bunch of friends?

A bunch of my friends cut themselves..but for no reason..they just do it because they want attention and they want people to feel sorry for them. They always talk about how depressed they are and how much life sucks for them, and it's not true at all. Because one friend started to cut herself, the other friend started too as well, and now another one is on the verge of cutting herself. They all do it for attention and I'm positive of that, and they drive everyone crazy. I'd like to just not be friends with them anymore but I don't want to see them get hurt, and they won't listen to anyone when theyre told to stop. What should I do to make them realize how stupid they're being without actually giving them the attention that they're cutting themselves for? If they're given the attention they're cutitng themselves for, then they'll just do it again. If we all just ignore them, they could seriously hurt themselves.. please help. Thanks. (link)

First of all, dont stop being friends with them...it will just make them upset. and im guessing you dont cut, which is good, so your the only friend they have left that can actually help them. you need to go to a school guidance counsler or someone who you can ask to talk to all of them, but make sure you do it anonomously.
