But, you should know that there are repercussions to every action you make. Some people wait until they are married, and some have sex really young. I know someone that had sex when they were 14 and they were happy…for the time being. Now they regret what they have done, and they are 17! For years they have regretted having sex with someone that wasn’t their ‘true love’ possibly just their ‘first love.’ No one treated her badly except for herself, she was a mess. I think that the appropriate age depends on the person and how mature mentally they are to take on such a huge step. Ultimately, it is your own decision, but consequences are applied to every action! Think wisely…

0xKristinx0 answered Monday January 24 2005, 4:32 pm: personally, i want to wait until im at least 16. that way i am pretty much an adult, and i know if a guy really loves me or just wants sex. one of my friends, who is 13, has had sex a lot with like 17 and 18 year olds, and she pretty much has a reputation as a slut. so to answer your question, i would say 16 about.
