well my friend sarah is away at camp this weeekend. so her little sister spent the night at my house. she hung out with me n stuff.. and she was telling me about all the foul/rude/mean things sarah says about me.
1..* she said that im trying to steal a guy named bob that likes her. she concluded that just becasue ive talked to him a few times on the internet. im so not that kind of person! i wouldnt "steal" a guy from my best friend.. thats so messed up!
2..* she said that i am lame and i cant get any of my own friends cause i talk to hers. omg i have so many friends. thats not why i talk to hers, im just trying to be friendly so if i ever see them i wont be shy or anything.
theres otheres but they're not important.
what do i do? shes gonna call me today and idk what to say to her. im so upset with her, and im pissed she actually says things like that about me! help!

A bunch of my friends cut themselves..but for no reason..they just do it because they want attention and they want people to feel sorry for them. They always talk about how depressed they are and how much life sucks for them, and it's not true at all. Because one friend started to cut herself, the other friend started too as well, and now another one is on the verge of cutting herself. They all do it for attention and I'm positive of that, and they drive everyone crazy. I'd like to just not be friends with them anymore but I don't want to see them get hurt, and they won't listen to anyone when theyre told to stop. What should I do to make them realize how stupid they're being without actually giving them the attention that they're cutting themselves for? If they're given the attention they're cutitng themselves for, then they'll just do it again. If we all just ignore them, they could seriously hurt themselves.. please help. Thanks. (link)

Okay. Either way, they're going to cut themselves. So you should probably give them attention. Because if you don't, then they'll have someone WORTH cutting for. You don't want them going around saying they're slicing their wrist because of you do you? Probably not. Let them know that you love them and that when they do this they're hurting you deeply, and if they wish to stay friends with you then they should probably stop. If they were any kind of friends they wouldn't want to see you in any pain, and it's obvious that you're hurting. Let them know how you feel. It's very important that they stop the vile acts, because it's not helping anything, Sure they may say it relieves stress, but I highly doubt that it does. You just have to talk to them, let them know, let their parents know, and let them know that if they keep doing this they might get sent away from all their friends in which they wish to gain attention from.

well, see i used to have these two really good friends and I had so much fun around them. then things got shaky and they started hanging around these really bad guys that always wanted us to do stuff for them , and I couldnt take it. turns out, their realtionships at home got worse and they started fighting with their moms and such. but i still remember all the fun times we had. should i let them back in? this question dosent really go under friendship..but there was nothing else i coul put it under...anyway..i got a dvd player for christmas and i have some good dvd's like napolian dynamite but i get sick of it if i watch it alot and the day after tommorrow but that is pretty long and finding nemo but that aso gets kinda boring... the only movie that i enjoy watching is my favorite movie ever...sweet home alabama...i dunno what it is about that movie but i never get sick of it...does anyone have any other movies that are good and they never get sick of? cause i would really like another movie to watch! lol =) (link)

On new year's eve, I have to go to my grandparents for 3 days. I really don't want to go because they live a long way away from us and all my friends. The only way I will be able to keep in touch with my friends is through text message because they don't let me use their phone and I can't afford to call on mine. They don't even have a computer so their's no msn either. I know it's only three days but I am going to be so bored, what can I do to stay in touch with my friends apart from texting? There isn't any point writing letters because it's only three days. (link)

If text messaging them is the only way you can reach them, then I guess you answered your own questions. Why not bring things to occupy yourself? Like old year books, or scrap books. Or maybe you do something cool for your friends like make them a cool little new years gift. Like you stated, it is only three days. I'm sure you can manage. Grandparents arn't that bad; you could make cookies! My grandparents always give me money, so theres a plus! Sorry if I didn't help.

Well.. last night I was over at my friend caitlin's house and we got bored so we walked around the corner and met up with some friends(rachel,chrus,anthony,katie) and we were hangin out talkin and what not.. and then we decided to walk back to rachels house.. so we're walkin and talkin and I'm a smart ass.. and someone said somethin stupid so i made a remark about it.. ya know? but chris stares at me and laughs.. like nto staring bad way.. just staring.. but yeah.. then we're back at rachels and chris wanted to swim so he strips down to his boxers and jumps in.. hah it was cute.. but anywhos.. the whole time when we're all sittin out there talkin I would look over and catch chris lookin at me.. I mean it feels like there's somethin there.. but I don't know.. I mean.. he's an awesome kid.. I'd like for there to be somethin there but I don't know.. I mean he's a grade younger than me.. but he's not immature and sldflk I don't know.. I wanna get to know him better to see if there is something there and everything.. but he's not one of the people that I hang out with all the time.. so what do i do?

Ok...to start off, my b/f moved to Georgia back in July and now all his friends are calling me and wanting me to go places with them. And the thing is, they know that I still love my b/f. Me and my b/f still talk on the phone every night and he found out that his friends have been calling me and he got mad at me! When I can't help that they called me. But he wants me to tell them to leave me alone. But how do I say it nicely without hurting their feelings? They already know that I still love my b/f.Please help me..I don't know what to do. (link)

Well, how about something simple like "Hey, you know I'm still in love with my boyfriend, you're supposed to be his friends, not hitting on me, so please stop asking me out, I love him, not you guys, Sorry." That sounds a bit harsh, but you have to do it.

Ok, My brother had a gilfriend when they broke up she said bad things about him to his friends and now he doesn't have any friends, which he had a lot of them. He was also a popular guy and he is about to turn 20, but I need help he is very depressed to have no one as a friend I feel very sorry for him. Oh dear. Well, if your brothers friends believes rumors from his ex-girlfriend, then they're not friends at all. Tell your brother to get up from his slum, and make new friends, because if he is/was popular, i'm sure friend-making comes easy.

im not sure if this is the rite category but im a 14 year old male and i wanna run away. i dont like tthe way im being treated at home my parents r taking away my comps cuz they saw somethin on this site that they didnt like and they think i had somthin 2do w/ it. my mom is always yelling 4 no reason she thinx im always doin somthin rong my dad gives me no privacy and tries 2 read my messages. i hate having my life consumed by them. i want a life of my own.so should i stay or should i go? Ick. This is a tough one. First off, your parents probably took away your computer because the things they saw on it,they didn't aprove of, and they didn't want you to see something like that. Believe me they do care, because if they didn't would you even be here? Parents are there to give you love and nuture you,not make your life a living hell, even though it may seem like they are. They probably try to read your IMs because they are wondering if you are mixing yourself with the right people or not. So, here is my advice. Talk to them. Tell them that you don't like it when they read your IMs and that they can trust you. They'll come to there senses and understand that even if it seems like they're trying to help,they might make matters worse. So, running away is not an option, it's an easy way out, but things will just turn bad in the end,and after a running away experience, do you think your parents would trust you?
