But honestly, if you're wearing the purity ring in the first place, don't you want to be looking for a guy who can look past it? This past week I went to a camp and my ex-bf was there also. And over the course of the week I realized that I still liked him. He had already told me about 3 weeks ago that he wanted to get back together with me, but I turned him down because I was still upset with him for dumping me in the first place.
Anyways, now I've told him how I feel and we've decided to get back together. But tonight he was texting me and talking about starting back right where we left off, and suggesting sex too. I told him right then he was moving too fast, but he pulled the whole "you do love me don't you?" to which i said, "i did once until you broke my heart. I'm not just giving it back to you so you can do what you want with it. If you don't want a serious relationship and you just want to mess around then I don't want anything to do with you anymore."
After awhile he texted back saying "I do want a serious relationship. I was just messin' with you. That was just once." Would you say that he truly meant that or just said it cuz he was scared I would leave?
Also, what are some ways we can help to make our relationship exciting but not always so sexual? I want this to work out because I really like him but I want to make sure it is a healthy relationship.

Maybe this boy was serious, but realized when you freaked a little bit that he really wanted to have a relationship with you but played it off like he's kidding. Just make sure he knows what you want and don't want to do just yet, things will be just fine.
And to have a fun relationship, it doesn't have to be sexual. Group dates, as well as single dates are great ways to spend time together. Do things that you've never tried before. You could go rock climbing, or have a picnic. There's really no limit to the kinds of things out there to do right now so you should have no trouble finding something exciting to do that isn't necessarily sexual.

ok. well. this storry is really messed up.
in september i met gabe and i really liked him for like ever but i was too shy to talk to him.
so then my best friend was jsut like "ok ill become friends with him and get him to talk to you"
so i was like "whatever"
months later i still liked him
but then my best freind tells me that gabe kissed her.
so for about 2 months they were making out in cemetaries and giving and taking handjobs in the woods.
and she knew i liked him.
so then she kept saying "get over him get over him hes just gonna hurt you."
so then i was just liek "ok im over him" even tho i really wasnt.
then rite when i told her i was over him, she said she liked him.
so i was like inlove wiht him while i saw them getting all googley eyed around eachother.
but they never went out.
so then like suddenly they stopped hanging out.
and nika (my best friend) got diagnosed wiht cancer.
and she wanted me to tell him.
so i did cause at that time i was kinda giving up cause i kinda almost figured in my head they would end up going out.
so then liek nothing happened wiht her cancer.
and i know its a horrible thing to say but i think she was lying.
and honestly its obvious shes lying.
so then i never said anything cause i didnt want to start a fight.
then me and gabe got alittle closer cause i let my guard down.
so then like month later gabe texted me when nika was in ohio.
we talked alot and we found out alot about each other.
then he told me he liekd me for about a month.
so i was really happy about that.
so he asked me out.
i said yes.
we went out 4 3 weeks.
hung out ALOT.
like seriously alot.
we did things that honestly i didnt really want to do but eh.
im an idiot.
but then exactly a month b4 my birthday and exactly 3 weeks that we were going out
he broke up with me
in a text.
he said he jsut couldnt b in a relationship at that moment.
i was really upset.
but i got over it, yet i still liked him.
after that, he barely came to school.
nika would always say "oh yea, gabe calls me all the time and we talk for hours!"
so i was like "whatever" yet i honestly wanted to bite her head off.
nikas also a huge poser. shes like "i love emo boys!"
god. its just like "nika! shut up! no one likes you! ughh aussies.."
but then gabe completely disappeared from town.
changed his number. moved. hes just gone.
basically to wrap up the story, before he left town, he screwed around with the biggest slut in town and then told nika that he was inlove with her and then nika told my other friend that she loved him too but he "hurt" her way too much and "caused her too much pain"
ughh. also, gabes a drug and sex addict.

I think the best thing to do is forget about Gabe. He's just a plain old jerk, nothing more, if hes playing with you like that. As for your friend Nika, maybe you should tell her whats been going on with you while she's been talking about Gabe. Hopefully, she'll understand that it hurts you and stop.

Maybe his best friend is becoming jealous of the relationship that you two have, and even though he said it was okay in the beginning, he's having second thoughts. You might not be able to do anything to stop what this boy is saying to your guy, but as long as you are sure that your guy knows that you would never say anything like that about him, you two shouldn't let his friend get to you.

Go on a couple dates with your parents. Do fun things, like bowling or just do dinner or something. Maybe you can invite your friend and her boyfriend so it won't be that boring. Act appropriately around your boyfriend, and maybe they'll let you go on a date with just your boyfriend. If not, just wait. Don't push your parents, they make these rules for a reason.

I don't know about the rest of the male population in this universe, but my boyfriend HATES those cute names. I'd assume that it would probably be a little embarassing for your boyfriend to hear you calling him sweetie pie, cutie, etc.
Just make a cute nickname out of his name, or something origional. It will have more significance than one of those common nicknames and probably won't be as embarassing.

So, my bf and i have been dating for a year and a half..and it seems he used to be so attentive to me and calling/texting all the time and it got kind of smothering so i didn't always pick up and he picked up on that and now, 6 months later he's doing the same to me, i don't think i call him all that much but i noticed that he doesn't call as much..but when we're together he acts totally the same, and very atttentive. whenever he doesn't pikc upr text back right away, whcih is somewhat frequently (or whenever he is with his friends) I get worried, and i don't wanna always be so worried that maybe he's cheating or ggonna break up with me..any advice to not feel this way, or idk, i've tried controting him but he just brushes it under the rug. He's probably just trying to give you some space, since he got the hint when you didn't pick up. If you feel like it's important, talk to him about it, but it seems to me like it would be a little confusing to him, since you seemed like you didn't want to talk to him a lot at first, but now you do. Well, making out is basically kissing for a long period of time. Just kiss him slowly, put your fingers on his neck or in his hair and just go with the flow. You can make out with tongue, or without, it's your decision. Either way, it's fun. :] You could start it or he could, just when you feel ready. It really isn't that hard. Good luck!

I don't really know; I guess he just likes his privacy. I would just trust him that he is being loyal, and If he does anything to betray that trust, then to confront him about it. If it bothers you enough now, then go to him about it. REALLY get through to him. If things seem better, then good. If not, then you might want to rethink your relationship with this guy. Good Luck!
