I hope that if you see an answer of mine that you enjoy it will inspire you to go out of your way to give good, solid information. Provide links for further information, detail your responses, encourage people to seek out professionals when it's needed, and stop sugar-coating responses and just say the truth.
I hope that even if you absolutely hate my answer that it'll kick start your brain. Hopefully you'll begin taking your time to respond instead of hurried answers that are useless to an already confused person.

So I really want to work at Hobby Lobby (an 'art and crafts' kind of place). I'm only 16 and I haven't had any job experiance before, so this makes it kind of hard to get hired. I've applied at Hobby Lobby before but I don't even know if they ever looked at my application. So I was thinking, what if I turned in a LOT of applications, like once a month or something? I've tried asking for the manager but she never seems to be there :/ so I can't think of any other way to draw attention to my application so I can get a job there. Any advice? (link)

It really depends on how long Hobby Lobby keeps their employee records/applications. Some employers will keep them on file for 90 days, some 60, some 30, and some will keep them for a year. Usually on applications like this they will list it at the main top or main bottom about how long they will keep this application on file. It may vary from different store so this Hobby Lobby may be kind-of unique in this time range.
If the application doesn't say then call and ask to speak with a manager. Simply say, "I was curious how long this particular Hobby Lobby keeps applications on file." If the manager is unavailable then ask them to please get back to you at your number as soon as they are available.
If they reply that they keep them on file for 30 days then you can definitely turn a fresh one in every 30 days.
Being so persistent that you bombard them with the same application over and over again might not be the best idea if they keep it on record for, say, 3 months. You become annoying rather than, "Oh! They're truly interested!"
Try to give a follow-up call about a week after turning in your application. Sometimes stores just aren't hiring, unfortunately. In addition to that, many, many, many places don't even look at applicants that are under the age of 18 for legal reasons. You can't change anything about either of those possibilities.
So, a week after turning in your application you should give a call and ask to speak with the manager on duty. If they aren't available ask them to please have them call you back at your phone number when they are. When they call (or you get to speak with him/her) simply say, "Hi, my name is First Last and I applied for a position with this Hobby Lobby in Department. I was curious if you had gotten to review my application yet."
Of course, all of this is after you figure out how long they're going to keep your application on file. Since your application isn't changing there is absolutely no real reason to be sending in a fresh one every 30 days if they keep them on file for 90 days. There isn't anything new or to update. They just wind up going, "Again? Didn't we just get this filed 3 weeks ago?"
Of course, you can skip a lot of confusion if you ask about age requirements from Hobby Lobby. It's possible you're not even a candidate based on your age. You can always call and ask.
