this saturday i have to take a psat test and have karate level testing. they overlap times and i cant be late to either. i cant decide i wud prefer karate but i shudnt miss the psat n i cant miss either! what do i ?? (link)
If i were you, I would take the PSAT test. It is very important to practice for the SAT's. This test will help get you prepared for the SAT exam. It will let you know what subjects you need to improve on and by how much, by giving you scores to work with as you begin getting ready for the SAT's. Remember for later, colleges look at your SAT scores when determining whether or not to admit you to their school. Explain its importance to your karate instructor and let him know that though both are important to you, you feel your education should come first. Ask if it would be possible for you to take your test on a later date, such as the date other students will be re-testing or another available time. If your instructor does not wish to compromise, look at it this way: there will be another chance to test for your next level in karate, but only one PSAT.
