Q: Ok, I need help. My boyfriend's mom just found her a boyfriend not too long ago, and he's Indian.
Well, we are all supposed to go out for dinner on Sunday at an Indian restaurant and I'm very picky when it comes to food and I've never tried Indian. My boyfriend loves it, and I don't want to offend anyone if I don't like it. So does anyone like it?
My boyfriend says they have a lot of curry, if so which do you think is better?
What is your favorite dish? and What's their best beef dish?
Thank you
I am not too familiar with Indian food, but I do love Chicken Tikka Masala. It is one of the most common curries (yellow curry) and is generally creamy and mild. If you don't like spicy food, you could ask the waiter to recommend mild dishes, or to provide recommendations. I am not familiar with any other curry, but have tried something with lamb and tomato, which is also delicious.

I agree with the other answer- samosas are delicious, and a good appetizer to share. I also recommend the naan (flat bread). Some restaurants have different kinds, like garlic or tandori naan. At the end of the meal, a cup of tea (chai) with milk is great. Enjoy the dinner!

Thank you, this is the second time I've heard that dish, so I know it has to be good! Thank you!
