i went on a "date" w/this guy(that i initiated) we went out for dinner, though we both never specified that it was anything more than that, and we hung out for a long time. i thought it went well, and he hugged me at the end.i didn't get any hint he wanted to see me again until he brings it up 3 weeks later randomly in the middle of our conversation.the 3 weeks leading to that i became upset b/c i felt maybe he didn't like me, even though he'd always become real happy to see me around.so even though this is what i wanted to hear him say, i guess 3 weeks of waiting overrode my enthusiasm.and later he convinced me to play intramural soccer w/him, i played one game and after the game he texts me and says "babe you're the best".and this is where it gets wierd: all of a sudden he changes and goes hot/cold switching and letting girls flirt w/him around me and not paying attn. to me. i don't understand. and now everytime i pass him by all he says is "will you play soccer?see you monday." he knows i can't play(it's too late at night) why is he being so annoyingly persistent? why would he care anyways, i bet had someone else had said no i don't want to play he'd leave them alone. i'm confused, i guess my question is how you think he feels about me. thank you for reading this and i'm really sorry for it being lengthy but any help would be very much appreciated.
Umm okay well im a girl but here is what i think!!
i think it is one of two things. Either he is testing you to see how jealous you get, which is what it sounds like because you said that he ignored you and flirted with other girls. Or he is just being a real asshole. But you are probably just really overthinking it. I say just tell him how your feeling. and tell him you dont want him flirting with any other girls, you want him flirting with you! haha

really i just think that you are overthinking the situation. I mean it is pretty much there that he is trying to make you jealous. But sometimes it takes other people to see it. haha
