I kind of got into it by accident, but I'd been giving advice all my life, and it seemed like a good idea at the time. Lol.
On a more serious note, I've been through a lot in my life: bad breakups, good breakups, WEIRD "relationships," eating disorders, psychological issues, sleep problems, etc...I know I can help people, and I know I'm not the only one who has gone through these things, or is going through them. Sometimes people just need someone to relate to, and I like to think one person can make a difference in someone's life.

I'm a laid-back 26 year old with a Psychology BA, starting my MA program, and working my way into the field as quickly as I can. It took me an extra Bachelor's degree (in vocal performance and creative writing) to figure it out, but I was put on this Earth to help, to heal, and to love.
