Well i'm kind of like you (i don't really like reading but every one in a while i find good books i REALLY like), & I can tell you stuff I LIKED & just hope u do too (i dont' know your tastes but i'll give it a shot).
-Harry Potter's pretty cool (i didn't think i'd like the books; that they were for nerd or something, but now i love them)
-the Twilight series. Kind of addictive. Perfect if you're a sucker for romance and stuff. Even friends of mine who don't read much are obsessed.
-Tithe: A Mordern Faerie Tale is a really fantasy romance/adventure/"horror" (not really scary but pretty edgy) type thing, which I love, followed by Ironside: A Modern Faery Tale
-The DaVinci code is also good (pretty deep stuff but i read it when i was thirteen and still thought it was REALLy good; way intriguing, so for the mystery-lover)
-If you wanna go more into nonfiction you might wanna try the Chicken Soup books (good & they're about stuff people our age can relate to)
Of course, you can try more Judy Blume books (I never really got into them myself, but from what I've heard, you like one, you'll probably like them all)... that's all i got for now. But also, i know that when teachers tell you to read something, you might automatically dismiss it; don't. Believe it or not, SOMEtimes they give you some good stuff (To Kill a Mockingbird is kinda boring at first, but gets better).
