Ok, soooooooooo;
On tuesday [april 24] is my fathers only day off [he owns about 7 buisnesses so thats a BiG THiNG].
so tomorrow night, we want to go out of town [i live in Los Angeles, California].
Anywhere near there! We are looking for a place to relax & have fun [my mother, me, and my father] tytytyty

I'd suggest going to Santa Barbara for the day- you can rent bikes for the day, walk along the beach, maybe see an outdoor art show. And there are tons of restaurants/shops on State Street. It's about a 2 hour drive from LA (depends which part, of course).
You could also drive down to Huntington Beach or if you want, Laguna Beach.
OH, another option is to spend a day on Catalina Island- hopefully that's enough time. You can take a boat there from Long Beach. It might be short notice though, so I'd suggest going to Santa Barbara..
