Okay I know I'm being totally old school here but why doesn't my bf open the doors for me and whatnot?

I know I know totally weird for asking that but my mom, aunt, uncle, etc, will get on to me about that if she sees how he kinda let the door shut on me.

Also, I'd like for him to do that as well because I dont know im weird like that

But I dont think its right for me to say

"dude, you are suppose to hold the door for me"

so um whats up?

Most of us have our own ways of doing things. And It seems like your bf doesn't realize that you want him to atleast open the door for you. The only way he is going to know this, is if you tell him. You don't have to worry about being rude because as long as you don't demand him to do it, then things should be fine. You can just say something like "[your bf's name] you know it would be kinda of nice if you opened the door for me every once in a while"
