I'm a photography major at a community college. I love music, fashion, art, my friends, books, films, theatre...and vampires. Ask me anything. I especially like questions about my opinions on something and questions that aren't even asking for advice.

how do i do selective coloring [i think thats what its called - when only one part of the picture is colored and the rest is b&w] on photoshop 3.0?
Use the polygonal lasso tool to select the area that you want in color, cut it and make it your "Layer 2". The first layer should be the original image. Put this in grayscale or turn the color saturation levels all the way down, and then go back to Layer 2. Turn the color saturation level up a bit to really make it pop out of the picture and paste it onto Layer 1. Voila.
(Rating: 5) thank you :]
