For the most part I'm good with car and animal related questions, but I'll answer other stuff if its something I feel I know enough about. Ask me anything, and I'll give it my best shot.
Just dont ask me anything about the chances of you being pregnant.
Or if s/he likes you or not.
Or if you're fat. (I'll say yes no matter what)
advice
So I'm buying my friend's old bass guitar from her, because she's selling it cheap and I thought it would be fun to teach myself how to play. I need to know where I can get equipment (extra strings, a case, an amp, etc.) cheap. It's a Bradley, if that helps, in good condition except the neck is just slightly warped (this is no major prob).
Also, if you have any tips on teaching myself, let me know.
Thanks in advance!

yes, lke the person said before me, most music stores will sell strings and stuff for a reasonable price. if that doesnt work than online is always an option.
as for teaching yourself, i did just that when i learned how to play bass. it may have been easier for me because i already played an instrument... but i found that there are books and stuff to teach yourlef with, with fingering charts, guides, and some simple music.
i really found the books that had a cd along with them that had the music in the book, so i could play along to it.
also, if you dont already know hoe to read sheet music, then tabs are great (even if you do know sheet music)(tabs are a different way of reading music, its four lines, and a dot is on the line at specific intervals indicating the note and such)
heres a few links you might find helpfull-

hope i helped
