"There's no other love like the love for a brother. There's no other love like the love from a brother." A lot has changed since I was in High-school and first created my column - almost 8 years ago!!!! I now have two gorgeous Boys who mean the World to me; Brody, who is 3 and a half years old, and Brayden, who will be a year in November. I live my life for these two Boys. They make every second worth it. xxoo ♥ ♥

advice

I would like to know what the difference is between using a tampon and using a pad for girls when they have their periods.

Pads are good if you're just hanging out around the house. I don't think they're good for going out and about with friends and such. You're always worried about if you leaked or not and it feels like you're wearing a diaper. They're very uncomfortable and I prefer tampons over pads.

Tampons go inside your vagina, so there's really no mess with blood and what not. You're able to do everything you want to do; even go swimming. They're also great for when you go to sleep at night, you won't have to worry about leaking everywhere.

EDIT: Actually, I haven't put tampons in, in the past. I've just started wearing tampons. Before, I was scared to have a tampon in me. Now, I realize how comfortable they are, that's why I switch. Plus, the mess is gone, which is great! ♥
