I was invited to a large party that takes place this weekend. I said that I'd go, because of the occasion and the person who is throwing it, but I really do not want to stay for a long time. First of all, I am not much of a party person. I usually just sit there by myself while being bored out of my mind. Second of all, I'm not much of a people person. There are going to be a LOT of people there. I really don't want to have to be around that many people for too long, especially since I hate most of them. Normally I leave parties with the excuse of not feeling well or something like that, but certain people (although not everyone) are starting to catch on. I need some good excuses to leave a party that do not involve being sick.
hey. first of all, what time is the party, cause that could effect your excuse. but here is a list that you can use:
- dentist appointment
- you have to babysit your baby cousin and they are desperate
- you can go, but only stay for like 30 minutes
- you are going to be busy this whole weekend and you need to do your homework
- your parents have to go someplace and you dont have a ride
if these dont work then maybe you just should go. if you arent a party/people person, this is a great time to become one! you might even make some new friends! hope this helps!! :) ♥ ♥ ♥
(Rating: 5) I appreciate the advice. I'm definitely going because I already said yes, but I'll probably do what you said about only staying for thirty minutes. The party is from 8pm-12am and the place is a block away from my house, so I couldn't use the excuse about not having a ride. Plus, I can drive. (I'm eighteen.) But that was a good idea about the thirty minutes thing, therefore I rated you a five.
