The guy I like i don't see often, only on weekends. But we call eachother every night and talk online and stuff... it's enough for us. Here is what I say about your ?s
1) Yes, if you really do like him go out with him. Give it a chance, if you find out he's cheating on you, forget him and move on. I wouldn't ask a guy out, cause it's not really my style... if it is your style, and you have the guts to, then go for it. You could say something like, maybe we can go out this weekend or something like that, he will get the hint!
2) It's going to be hard to see eachother outside of school due to activities and stuff. Myabe you guys can go to a school sports game together, like a track meet or baseball game. Or get together and study with eachother and go to eachother's houses.
