My name is Rae. I live in Colonie. I go to CCHS asa freshman. I'm 14, my birthday is October 7th (( tomorrow from wen im writing this lol )). I help my friends out with advice ALL the time and i'm pretty good at it. I keep an open mind and make sure i give people as many options and opions that i have for them. I'll try to come on here everday, but if i dont i may have computer problems, charging my laptop, working on a website, or currently dealing with my own problems. I want to open up to you guys and relate your problems to mine. I may be young but i have gone through a lot in my life, as well as seen people i'm very close to go through the same problems you are. I'm actually really bad at solving my own problems... which is probably why i'm good at solving other peoples.

one of my friends chinchilla's is poorly, hes a male adult, but were not to sure of the age anywhere between 5 and 10 years.
Hes been lying down all day and hasnt eaten much, she tried a him with a raisin (for energy) but he didnt touch it and she tried him with water, he had a bit of that. Hes really weak and cant move about AT all. she put him back in his cage not long ago and his son jumped on him so she took him back out. my friends mum won't let her take him to the vets.
we know the life expectancy is 10-15 years but we dont want to think the worst of it because it might be something else.. what could it be? any advice??

he could have eaten something that made him a little sick, or maybe even plastic or something. but the best thing to do is go to the vet... and if the mom wont let you guys thats awfully mean to the dog... what if the dog is really sick and the vet can help him from not dying?
you should really try to convince her to let the dog go see a vet... otherwise the dog might end up suffering for a long time.
or you can try calling a vet near by and explain the situation. they might be able to help you better than anyone on here

Thankyou hunni but a chinchilla isn't a dog...
and he hasnt eaten anything like a rubber stopper because chinchillas live in cages... lol
i think u was thinking of a chihuahua i should of explained better
