I love playing piano, clarinet, in general I just love music, and I love to write and read, poetry especially, and I love mathematics, physics, and oceanography. I've been told I'm mature for my age, but I don't know, I just think that a person has to be who they are, true to themselves, and not worry about what fits into an age group. I love simply living as best as I can, working when I have to, and having fun. It's all in your perspective. I heard cracking your fingers could cause arthritus (sp?), so I'm trying to stop. But it's so hard because it's already a really big habbit. Does anyone know how to break a habit like this??
The arthritis thing is a rumor, however your knuckles can become so large that you won't be able to move your fingers, I know a very accomplished pianist who couldn't play anymore because her hands were completely immobilized by her huge knuckles. Think of that every time you want to crack them. Otherwise, write something on your hand or tie a string around your finger so that you will see it and remember not to crack them. I also like the first person's advice on this. Hope this helps, good luck!
