Q: hey im a guy...and no im not planning on getting an abortion. i was just wondering something: why is it that girls/women abort children instead of adopt them? i know there are plenty of reasons why, but is there one (or more) that would overshadow the case of giving birth then putting the baby up for adoption. looking for a girls point of view on this, because even if the girl didn't want the baby, would there be something wrong in giving it away instead of killing it? thanks, will rate.

its a huge topic and ive not got alot of time, but i was interested by your question
women abort their babies when the life the child would be brought in to would not be a fair life to live...say if the parents havent got much money, or they could not provide a loving environment
also, when the life of the baby would in a sense kill the mother, say if she was really young and could not physically deliver it, or if her family situations were such that having the baby would put her life in danger
the reason why abortion is not murder: even though the baby could be "living" technically, and they might have physical form, they have not lived in the world and have therefor not experienced life
in most cases, abortion is more about the fairness towards bringing the baby into the world than it is about the mother
yeah, its not a happy or moral thing in some people's minds, but it is a right answer

*thats not what i meant at all. what i mean is that it is not killing in taking away a life that has not ever existed
