Q: Why does everyone think you HAVE to believe in something? Do you feel it's wrong to not put faith in a religion? I'm not religious in the tiniest bit. I know some people think that you never know what you're missing out on until you try it. However, I've never even cared or have been concerned with trying to find religion in my life. Why is religion so important?

It's not that they think they have to, it's that they need to. People need something to hold onto, something real, something that is the purpose of their lives. It is not wrong to not "have" a religion, as those are only specific sets of beliefs that people realize they share in common. Alot of people have their own beliefs that don't allign with a religion completely, like me. It's not a game- don't try to have beliefs, or force yourself to believe, it is what it is. If you believe, than you believe. But even if you don't know it, everyone believes in something.
