hey all i have been thinking about getting my nose pierced, but i would first like to learn about it. just the basic stuff like if it hurts, is it hard to take care of, is it often irritating, is the piercing dangerous, about how much would it cost, and any other useful information you would like to share. thanks! well, i have my nose pierced, but i did it myself. and it didnt really hurt at all. but then again everyone is different. ihave friends who got it professionally done, and they say that they put a little cork in your nose, and use a long needle to pierce it, and then they put the nose ring in, and they told me it didnt hurt bad. so its probably..4-6, unless your really sensative. but its quick. i also believe its $30 to get it done. its not that hard to take care of, but like earrings, you want to twist it around a little, cause blood might dry around it and it could start to hurt. and using a little alcohol to clean it wouldnt hurt. depending on the type of nose ring, it can sometimes poke you, and it can hurt a little bit. like when you itch your nose or blow it, sometimes the tissue gets stuck on it and it pulls a little. also, depending on the kind of post..(mine is a star with a straight post) it can get stuck on other things, i recommend you getting a small diamond, circular, with a ball at the end, its harder for those kind to get stuck on anything and tug. im sure you dont want to here about the negative things, but it looks great. and they really arent that bad. sorry this is so long, but i hope i helped you out.
