About Nevaeh314

Ask me about: Social Situations, Relationships, Depression, Suicide, Health, How to Deal with Loss, School, Random weird things that don't fit into any of the above ;) I think I'm pretty good at giving advice, just ask and I'll give it my best shot. I've experienced a lot of it, and I don't mind doing a little research if I haven't. I love playing piano, clarinet, in general I just love music, and I love to write and read, poetry especially, and I love mathematics, physics, and oceanography. I've been told I'm mature for my age, but I don't know, I just think that a person has to be who they are, true to themselves, and not worry about what fits into an age group. I love simply living as best as I can, working when I have to, and having fun. It's all in your perspective. Just a quote that I like "Dreams are made and broken, potentials realized and never reached, all on the breath of one phrase: It could be."

I just moved here from a different state & I'm starting school on Monday next week. I'm extremely nervous, I've never moved schools before & I'm 15. Pretty much, my question is: At lunch, I'll probably be sitting by myself. Does anyone have any suggestions on some things I could do to interest me, while sitting at lunch by myself. I don't want to look stupid and just sit there and stare around at people. I want to be able to do something. I'm not going up to people and asking them to sit with them because, I'm not that type of person. Thanks for your help.

If you're not going to go up to them and ask to sit with them, then go to lunch a little late, and find a table with a few people, and sit down. No asking involved. Just say, "Hey, I'm new, I'm ________." If you really don't want to do that, you could always just bring some homework or something to the table. I always use lunchtime to get my math homework done...or at least copy it ;). You could bring a book or magazine to read too. Don't sweat it, at my school there's not exactly any tables completely empty, so you CAN'T sit alone, and you might end up having to meet someone new, but who knows, you could end up with a great friend!
Love,
Nevaeh
