Erggg...I'm 13 and i STILL weigh only 70 pounds!! i'm not worried that i'm short, it's okay with me, but i really need to gain weight! i dont wanna die form this! And pigging out on junk food dont help either....
First it's important to understand why you are underweight and what causes you to be underweight. And then we can work on how to get you to gain more weight so you aren't so light.
People who are underweight do not consume enough food energy, and overweight people consume more than enough food energy than needed. Maybe you're underweight because of genes, or your hunger and appetite haven't been balanced in early years, and you still carry on those eating habits.
In English, what I mean is simply that being underweight is in your genetics or you don't have as many kcalories as needed for what you eat daily. You might have developed poor eating habits when you were a child, and now that you're a teen, they've kind of stuck with you.
Basically, you need to change the way you eat in order to gain weight. Here's some ideas I came up with that will hopefully be helpful to you: You need to eat more food. And this does not mean pigging out. Infact, pigging out like that will do nothing for you. Normally, people think that if they eat junk food like crazy that's how you gain weight. But that isn't true. It does nothing but confuse your eating habits, or it could cause a diesease such as diabetes. What you should eat is high calorie milkshakes, yogurts, and frozen yogurts. Meats, breads, and vegetables. Make your portions of the food that you eat a reasonable size for your metabolism. (Don't think BIG servings but an amount that will make you comfortable with.) Try to make each week count by added more servings per week, just don't go overboard.

*Don't be afraid to exercise, if you usually do. Exercising keeps you in shape. Because of the way you are eating that will not affect it. (This is why people who want to lose weight must reduce their food intake and excersize. Because the limited amount of food and the exercising goes hand in hand.)
