advice

I want to be homeschooled next year, and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it and if it costs alot or not? If someone was to be homeschooled, would they still have to take gym or no?

This girl on my street was homeschooled in 5th grade. She would come to our school to take PE and art but I don't think she HAD to. I'm pretty sure you have to have some kind of exercise (*playing on a team, going to work out...etc) because the state doesn't want you to be un-healthy. So you have to exercise, but it doesn't HAVE to be PE. She told me she didn't come in for music bc she sang @ her church...but if you're in an older grade, music isn't a required subject like it was in elementary school (*neither is art). I'm not sure if it costs alot, and every state handles homeschooling differently, but she had to go and take this test every couple weeks (*I'm not sure how often) to make sure she was learning enuff.
