Hey, My name is Mandy Marie. I'm an Australian and always will be one. I still own the accent, but I live in the US. I recently just moved from Miami Beach to New York City. ok when i go out to eat with my sister and her boyfriend he boyfriend always makes my sis pay shouldnt he pay now my sis has like no money so what should she do or i do?
It's a good thing you are concerned for her! You could talk to her about this if you wanted to. But I think what she should do is talk to her boyfriend. It would be good to say to him how she doesn't have a lot of money, and maybe when they go out to eat they can take turns or if he could help her out a little bit just until she gets some more money. He wouldn't know how she feels about paying unless she speaks up. So if you are going to tell her about this, tell her to speak up and let him know she can't pay right now. And if you notice she seems afraid of her boyfriend there is a problem. If her boyfriend is a nice guy he would probably understand this and give in a little more. Or they could stop going out to eat for awhile. You can tell your sister's boyfriend about this too. That's only if you wanted to, sometimes it would feel uncomfortable if you didn't know him well. Just by telling him how much you notice your sister is paying for everything should get the message across. But one of you needs to speak up. If she has already told him about this tell her try it again and if he still doesn't do anything about it maybe it's time for a new boyfriend.
