I am kind of proud of the fact that I dumped her. She was seeing somebody else and she had some kind of mommy complex because the other guy was even younger than I was at the time.

Yeah, saying "I love you" does seem to be played out. It's empty unless you fill it with an affectionet action which you wouldn't do for anyone else but your one and only. Teens do seem to say I love you a lot. They may be just saying that because of the hormones.
