Q: I'm new at a school and I tried out for basketball and made it! The team is always really nice to me and we joke around and stuff, but when i see them around at school a lot of them just ignore me, at least most of them do. [Some of them are my friends] some of them smile and say hi or something like that but most of them walk right past me without saying a word. I want to be close to them as friends but I don't know how I can be since I've been going to the same school for a while, I''m not used to being the new kid. Do they want to be my friends? and what are some questions I can ask them that won't seem to akward...something that's recent [ex. What are you going to be for halloween, who do you like?..questions like what are your interests never work out..]?

During practice just talk and stuff, and ask some of the team members if they wanna go to the movies sometime or wanna hang out at the mall..hope i helped..good luck!! and you can always have other friends, they dont have to be from bball!

being friends with guys. Meet guys in your class and hang out with them. Talking to them will make them like you, for you! and your personality...hope i helped

Q: Ok this is going to be pretty long but it's worth reading!! Ok... me and this guy kyle were friends since like december. in febuary, i went over to his house and he was telling me all about how him and his girlfriend were broke-up and he was very upset about it. so later in the month i went over to his house and we kinda messed around (we didnt' have sex though). so kyle moved to california in March. (i live in arizona)i didn't talk to him again until like july. i truly love him. he feels the same way. although the other day he texted me and told me that his girlfriend (from before we started talking again) called and wants him back. now he's not sure wat to do (i don't really blame him). But i still love him and he said he loves me and always will but he isnt' sure wat to do about his gf who just came back!!! Please HELP Me!! I'm 15 and he's 18.

Well even though you love eachother, you both have to move on. Sure you'll always love him but you cant stick to him forever. Let him go, and even though its gonna hurt..you'll find someone new!

Q: i know that i have been asking this question a lot but i really want to know all of the things that i can possibly do. So if you have any ideas please respond because this is a really weird situation!:there is this guy in my grade who used to like me but i always thought he was kind of a dork so i didn't talk to him that much and when i did i would just kind of joke around with him. anyway i figured out that i have really liked him all this time and what made me figure it out was that i found out that he is moving to Hong Kong in January! If i tell him that i like him now then im worried that he might not still like me and he might tell everyone that i like him. i was thinking that maybe i would tell him on his last day but then we'd never have a relationship...please help me because i need to know what to do!

Tell him you like him. So what if hes moving to hong kong? They have phones and internet over there:) Tell him you like him and see what he says. You guys can always be friends, I dont suggest going out with him because in january it'll be hard to say goodbye. Hope I helped

Wear your fav colors...how about a cute denim skirt, you should wear a light green, light pink, or baby blue top...just try on all shirts and see which one looks best..for makeup..eyeliner, blush, and lip gloss..not too much but its still cute! for you hair you can scrunch it or straighten it..good luck! hope u have fun at the party:)

Q: ok i do alot of modeling. ever since i was little ppl told me i should b a model. im like 5'5 and 98 pounds. im not anorexic even tho ppl think i am but i dont care lol. well i spend alot of time modeling and im really tired n dont have alot of time but i dont want to cut back. should i cut back and model a little less or should i just deal with it? thanx much

Its your choice. If you love modeling then why not do it. But if it is stressing you out, cutting a little bit of modeling time wont hurt. Hope I helped:)

Tell him that you dont want kids, you dont wanna have sex and that it sucks for him! Good for you! Stick up for yourself and dont let him make you feel bad about not screwing him..you need to say "Everytime you ask I'll say no, so dont ask!" :-D!

Q: i have been anarexic for 3 months.. My boyfriend is really worried about me, and really wants me to stop.. i have tried to do that for him.. but i just cant make myself.. i am 13, 5'8 and i weigh 65 pounds.. what should i do?

Oh wow, go see a doctor now before you die!!!! Your heart can stop at any time, thats why you need medical attention...asap! Dont your parents know? friends?...you need to go to the doctor so he can help you

Q: ok well latley i havn't been myself and i don't know how to fix it. i meen i pray and stuff and i am a strong christian . but i dunno it is wierd cause i don't even know who me is when people say your name you feel like you are somone when i hear it is like just my name nothin speacial just a word that was given to me. and it is wierd cause when i pray latley bad things seem to happen like in some way i get hurt emotiionally my friend hates me or somthing of such matter.

Q: well there is this girl that i like 4 a long time and she like me to. one night me and my friends went to my schools football game and after the game i ask if she would go out with me. she sead that shell think about it but her friends sead that shell go out with me. 2 days latter she wenty out with some one at my school.

Q: My husband and I are in our mid-40's with no children and have just completed building a second home (our dream home) on a lake near the mountains. It is a one bedroom house that took almost 4 years of our lives to build and every penny we could scrape together.

My husband has friends from out of the area that want to "freeload" on us...and he thinks it is great! The more the merrier and the bigger the party!

His friends are all married and all have many children. They want to come up in groups and stay with us. This past weekend several families camped at a campground a few miles away, but "stayed" at our place the entire weekend...the only thing they did at the campground was sleep (and thank goodness for that).

When they entere the house to use the bathroom, or whatever, they would go through drawers and look behind closet doors.

I do not want these people in our house, much less there when we are not there.

Please give me advise on how to get my husband to understand my position.

These folks are nice I suppose, but they all drink a lot (even in front of children) and influence my husband to do the same, to miss church and to ignore business calls when they are around. We are professionals, they all have 8 to 5 jobs with little to no responsibilities and not a lot of income.

My husband wants to give them a key and the code to the burgular alarm system.

We are headed straight for a divorce, I am afraid without help...and he refuses to see a counselor, although I did spend several months last year in counseling alone.

Since he wants his friends over so much, instead of having their little get-togethers every weekend, how about twice a month? That way your both happy. Or when their over there, you can leave the house for a few hours so you dont have to put up with the noise, and all that stuff. You need to talk to your husband, communication is the one thing you need in any relationship. Sorry if I didnt help much, i'm only 14...but I hope you and your husband sort things out!

Well there is a Homecoming game. Where your football team plays at your school, and then their is a dance right after that or the day after. And yeah its a big dance, and you should wear a cute dress...not fancy fancy but formal..have fun!

You want to change, so if your friends are shocked just tell them you wanna look different. Change is good...a good place to go is target. Get black eyeliner, lip gloss, and blush. Thats not a lot and targets cheap. Good luck!!

Q: Sorry... this is a sex question and there are somewhat graphic content. Not really bad but if you're young, you might not want to read this. Please only OLDER columnists answer this. I don't want advice from an inexperienced 13-14 year old. Someone who knows what I'm going through would help. And so... here's my question....

Hey, I'm 14/f and my boyfriend is 16. Yesterday I was at his house and we were doing sexual things and then I told him to go get a condom. (he uses them normally for self pleasure so it doesn't get anywhere...) So he went upstairs and got it but when he came back down I was crying. I don't know why I was crying. I really feel like I'm ready to have sex with him. We've been together for 2 years and we love eachother very much. It's weird though, I know that I'm physically and emotionally ready to do it it's just that, whenever we are about to, I get scared. Is this normal? Can anyone help me out?

PS- I'm a virgin and so is my boyfriend and we both want to lose our virginity to eachother.

Q: My life long best friend moved away in July. I miss her so much. So told me today that she cried 4 3 hours bc she wants to move back. People there love her but she missies every1 here sooo much. Everyhting is sooo different without her. She said her dad was gunna take her to a concert with like sum of her new friends but she didnt want to go bc me n my other bff wouldnt be there n it wouldnt be the same. Tell her to go to the concert. And you have to understand that making new friends doesnt mean shes gonna throw her old friends away. She cant be a loner all her life..you and her need to understand that things happen, and you just need to make the best out of it. You still get to visit her, email, im eachother and all that good stuff..it just wont be the same as hanging out everyday. Just make the visits soo fun and dont think about when shes gonna leave..enjoy the time she does spend w/ u!! I hope I helped...if ya need anything else leave 1 in my inbox;)
